From Weldon Barker

Dear Jeff - I just received my "gift" from you Friday, and I have listened to little else, since. Although I know you are daily inundated with mail, still, I feel compelled to try to express my heart-felt gratitude for this truly THRILLING tribute to the magical, magnificent Mario!

It is so rare today--unheard of, really--for any product purchased to measure up to the pre-purchase hyperbole. Yet, you have produced a gem of a musical treasure that does precisely that. The sound quality is far superior to that of any of my many Mario LPs or CDs, and the selection of songs is simply superb! But above all of this, Jeff, my immeasurable admiration and gratitude to you is for your courage, dedication and perseverance in undertaking this wonderful testament to your love of Mario's special gifts of communication; as the Message Forum on your fascinating Lanza website makes clear, there are many of us who fully share your love for, and devotion to, Mario's art and his memory; yet, it was only YOU who had the energy, the skills, and the commitment to make this priceless gift to Lanza fans, everywhere. For that, and for the countless hours of unsullied joy that I, and all others will derive, for years to come, from your gift, I can only restate my tremendous admiration and profound gratitude: BRAVO, MAESTRO!!

I sincerely hope you recoup every cent you invested, and much more, in time--but even if you don't, I hope you will take great comfort in the sure knowledge of the boundless pleasure you have given so many of your fellow fans of Mario!

All the best, always,
Weldon Barker

Hi Jeff - Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I've received the disc and simply had to write and thank and congratulate you on such an amazing achievement. The sound quality is fantastic and really brings Mario back to life. Even the previous commercially released material sounds amazing. The photos themselves are worth the price of the disc, and many are new to me. If ever I win the national lottery here in England, I promise weíll get together and do another disc like this!
Anyway, thanks again Jeff. Take care, ALWAYS,

Ron

From Rick from Philly

Hello Jeff - This is Rick from Philly. I just want to let you know I think your CD is just Sensational, the whole Package. Great Job.

I see some people on the message forum think Mario is singing a little flat on O sole Mio. It sounds fine to me. Also I made my friend who is an opera singer hear it, and he don't hear nothing flat. Matter of fact he likes this version better than the 1949 version.

Again, the CD is Sensational. Good Luck. Hey, when you coming out with Volume 2? (Just Kidding!!!!)

Take Care. Sincerely,

Rick

Dear Russell, Through the special efforts and expense of both the WebHost and your goodself, I finally received the much-heralded Jeff Rense CD. Its engineering reproduced the vibrancy of voice that set the pulses racing in my impressionable teenage years during the early 50's. I've never been the same after I was knocked flat from the first uppercut by the stupendiferous Lanza back then. I'm still dazed now from the secondly-delivered knockout blow after going just one round with Jeff's new CD.

Yesterday, I received a copy of the CD, "I'll See You In My Dreams," produced by Jeff Rense. As it started playing, I actually stopped breathing for a few seconds. It was as if Mario was in my living room singing to me. Believe me this CD is worth every bit of the $19.98 plus $4.00 Shipping & Handling for a total cost of $23.98. This CD is an absolute must for the true Mario enthusiast. I only wish I had Derek Mannerings wonderful way with words, but as I don't, I can only describe the sound as crisp, clear and clean. It knocks you over to hear such beauty.

As for why someone would want to purchase two, I can only give you my reason which is so I can have one for home and one for the office, plus I would have heart failure if I should accidently ruin this CD and be unable to obtain another one. Another reason to purchase this CD is the beautiful booklet which is chock full of wonderful photos, many I have never seen. Jeff Rense deserves a standing ovation for his perseverance in bringing this wonderful tribute to Mario to fruition.

Jeff, I got the CD "I'll See You In My Dreams" and it is truly a fantastic Lanza collection. The sound quailty: I never thought could be that good. Musica Proibita is one of the highlights. After hearing this, I wished I could tell Mario "Your Voice Is Heavenly". To those without this CD, you are missing Lanza at his best! Thanks, Jeff.

Let me add my voice to all the others praising Jeff's new CD. Obviously I had already heard it in demo version but the finished product has exceeded all expectations. It is an exceptional release in every way - artwork, sound and photographs. No one who considers themselves an admirer of the art and voice of Mario Lanza will want to be without this fabulous new CD. Well done, Jeff!

After waiting a while to catch my breath, i treated myself to a re-play of Jeff's CD. Hearing Someday !'ll find you" followed by "Because", "Musica Prohibita", "Granada", "Parlami D'amore", "Roses of Picardy" , "O Sole Mio" & onto "I'll see You in My Dreams", emphasized the MAGICAL SPLENDOR of the Golden Voice of Mario Lanza. Ladies & Gentleman, i am now limp as a wet rag, emotionally drained --- but in Euphoria!

I think I've recovered enough now to be able to sit upright and type. It blew me away, and I'm not kidding. I put the "do not knock on this door unless you're bleeding" sign on my bedroom door, positioned the player, hopped into the waterbed and proceeded to be whisked away... It's WONDERUL!!

I got to Musica Proibita, barely catching my breath after Because...and wow! And then, the first few notes from When Day Is Done hit my ears, definitely one of the songs that gets to me the most. Then the bubble just burst....the tears just streamed...I was sobbing by the end of it.

By the time I'll See You In My Dreams ended .... I can't even describe it...I just laid there floating for a while. All of it...the O Sole Mio!!...Thine Alone!!! You have laid total waste to me, sir. Thank you, so much!!!!!!!! As much as I hate the slang overuse of the term.... it is indeed AWESOME. (Maybe you should have considered a warning label)

The Lanza fans and the Lanza family owe you a great debt here. Jeff, thank you again for the wonderful disc.
