US Army Researching
Inhaled Vaccines

Dear Jeff,

I came across a press release that announced Aerogen ( a California-based specialty pharmaceutical company that develops inhaler and nebulizer products based on its proprietary aerosol generator technology for the treatment of respiratory disorders in the home and hospital markets) has signed a cooperative research and development agreement with the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases ("USAMRIID") relating to novel, inhaled vaccines targeted to counter certain effects of bioterrorism.

Orginal text found at this link: Aerogen Announces Agreement With the United States Army

Under the agreement, Aerogen is providing the USAMRIID with modifications of Aerogen's Aeroneb(R) Professional Nebulizer System (Aeroneb Pro), currently in development. USAMRIID will perform animal research studies utilizing the product with vaccines against biological warfare agents, for the ultimate purpose of developing improved immunization for military personnel.

All Aerogen platforms utilize a proprietary aerosol generator for aerosolization of liquids designed to provide extremely efficient and convenient delivery of drugs via the pulmonary route. The aerosol generator does not require propellants, generates negligible heat and is extremely efficient, making it appropriate for delivery of virtually any drug in solution or suspension, including proteins, peptides and small molecules.

"We are pleased and proud to support the efforts of the U.S. Army. This recognition of our innovative and efficient drug delivery products is a testament to the performance and versatility of our proprietary liquid aerosol generator technology," said Jane Shaw, Ph.D., Aerogen's Chairman and CEO.

It is obvious that the army is looking into ways of effectively dispersing these aerosols for vaccination with efficiency and width of coverage in mind. Therefore, it is quite possible to assume that if the country were deemed at high risk for a bio-terror attack, and the governors of states that passed the Model Emergency Health Powers Act (MEHPA) exercise its powers to full extent ( granted this aerosol technology proves to be effective and feasible), entire populations could be vaccinated through dispersed aerosols released by aircraft (chemtrails?) in a relatively short time, and with minimal logistical expense. Is it just me? Too sci-fi? Well, maybe. However, if this scenario seems unlikely, let me reference this article from the UK:

UK MOD Admits Experimenting On Public -1940-1979

The Ministry of Defence turned large parts of the country into a giant laboratory to conduct a series of secret germ warfare tests on the public.

A government report just released provides for the first time a comprehensive official history of Britain's biological weapons trials between 1940 and 1979.

Many of these tests involved releasing potentially dangerous chemicals and micro-organisms over vast swaths of the population without the public being told.

While details of some secret trials have emerged in recent years, the 60-page report reveals new information about more than 100 covert experiments.

The report reveals that military personnel were briefed to tell any 'inquisitive inquirer' the trials were part of research projects into weather and air pollution.

The tests, carried out by government scientists at Porton Down, were designed to help the MoD assess Britain's vulnerability if the Russians were to have released clouds of deadly germs over the country.
