- GENERAL ACHA (DNA) - Two
more cows were found dead yesterday under very strange circumstances in
a field owned by Mario Horacio Guinder, some 15 kilometers away from General
Acha, to the east of the provincial seat. As in earlier cases, which now
total seven deaths, the animasl were missing certain organs. No traces
were found on the premises and the causes of death remained a mystery
at the close of this edition. The two animals were found some 500 meters
away from each other. Police authorities and a professional veterinarian
reported to the site and were stunned by the fact that one of the cows
had had an embryo "cleanly" removed from its womb, "as
though some type of laser beam had been used," according to the veterinarian.
Readers will recall that the other similar cases occured in the fields
of Macachín and Saliquelló, Buenos Aires Province.
