- Dear Jeff...
-
- I am hoping you will post this at your website for your
millions of enlightened readers! Last week, I sent out a mass email
with these two stories:
-
- Nature - Science Update
- http://www.nature.com/nsu/020805/020805-7.html
-
- CNN
- http://www.cnn.com/2002/TECH/science/08/07/contrails.climate/index.htm
-
- They discussed a study of "contrails" affecting
our skies. The study utilized data from 9/11, when all airplanes
were grounded.
-
- Over the last week, several versions of the news
story have also appeared in the mainstream media. The stories
are by different writers or no byline is given. At last count, stories
were seen in:
-
- The New York Times
- http://www.nytimes.com/2002/08/12/science/12CLIM.html
-
- MSNBC (which includes pictures of chemtrails, not contrails)
-
- The Associated Press
- http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/wire/sns-ap-contrail-effect0808aug08.story
-
- Chicago Tribune
- http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-0208080286aug08.story
-
- Newsday
- http://www.newsday.com/news/health/ny-hsair082814445aug08.story
-
- Scientific American

-
- Environmental News Service
- http://ens-news.com/ens/aug2002/2002-08-08-09.asp#anchor4
-
- Academic Press
- http://www.academicpress.com/inscight/08072002/grapha.htm
-
- BBC News - World Edition
- http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/2179845.stm
-
- The Herald of Everett Washington
- http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/02/8/8/15737459.CFM
-
- and other smaller papers carrying the same story from
one of the above media outlets.
-
- The story was also featured on National Public Radio's
Morning Edition. My husband and I happened to hear the broadcast when
it aired and got queasy listening to it. What a way to start a morning!
-
- Why the sudden interest in contrails? Especially since
this story is essentially another version of the same story that appeared
in May 2002, featuring our old "friend" NASA "expert,"
Patrick Minnis. The story appeared in:
-
- Science News Online
- http://www.sciencenews.org/20020511/fob1.asp
-
- Science News Magazine
- http://www.newswise.com/articles/2002/5/CONTRAIL.SCN.html
-
- NASA Earth Observatory
- http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Newsroom/Headlines/2002/200205.html
-
- Are too many inquiries coming from concerned ailing citizens
regarding the strange "contrails" they see over their homes?
-
- Is this another attempt to debunk chemtrails as we experienced
last March 7, 2001 when Traci Watson, for USA Today, reported
on "Conspiracy Theories Find Menace in Contrails"?:
-
- The July 21, 2002 "Chemtrails are a Myth" story?:
-
- The June 2, 2002 "Mystery Rash is All in Our Head"
story which mentions chemtrails twice, at the beginning and end of the
story?: http://www.nytimes.com/2002/06/02/magazine/02HYSTERIA.html?pagew
- anted=7&ei=5038&en=daa8011fe8679b87&ex=1023681600&partner=ASAHI
-
- Is the controlled media feeling the brunt of continued queries
from aware citizens demanding accountability? Is this latest barrage
an attempt to "handle" us? KEEP UP THE PRESSURE, FOLKS!
It's working! Even "bad" press is good!
-
- Your latest "mission," should you choose to
accept it, is to write to Professor David Travis at <mailto:travisd@mail.uww.edu>travisd@mail.uww.edu.
Professor Travis made these comments in the CNN article referenced above:
-
- "Contrails are denser and block sunlight much more
than natural cirrus clouds," said Travis, who conducted the study
with Andrew Carleton of Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania.
They reported the findings this week in the journal Nature.
-
- Please "enlighten" him as to what chemtrails
are and how they are affecting you, but do so politely!
-
- Sincerely,
- Kim Weber
