- North Korea accused South Korea of committing "grave
military provocations" on the border that has separated the rival
states for half a century.
-
- "The South Korean forces committed dangerous military
provocations today by introducing armoured cars and self-propelled guns
to areas close to the military demarcation line," Pyongyang's government
mouthpiece the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said in a brief dispatch
Tuesday.
-
- The South Korea Joint Chiefs of Staff dismissed the report
as propaganda, denying any provocations had taken place.
