at MC RECRUIT DEPOT, SAN DIEGO, where my grandson is training.

- He called his parents to tell them there is an outbreak
of Flesh Eating Disease (necrotizing fasciitis) that killed one marine
yesterday, and another today, in a matter of three hours! He helped transport
one of the victims to the infirmary.

- He says everyone had to get shots of antibiotics today
and that the base is probably under quarantine, which means he won't get
to come home for Christmas as planned.
