Chemtrail Observer
Issues Challenge

Jeff -

First, thanks for a great website. I visit regularly and am grateful for all the excellent articles and letters, even when I disagree.

I would like to comment on the "chemtrail" issue. I have been observing the spray planes over our skies here in the Pacific Northwest (Eugene, Oregon) for about two years now. Before that, I do not recall seeing a single contrail, ever. And, I must add, unlike most people today, I watch the sky and have an interest in everything that happens there from weather patterns to astronomy, aircraft and satellites. I have been doing this since I was a boy growing up near Chicago, a few miles from O'Hare Airport. I have a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois so I am not without some knowledge of this subject.

I would like to suggest a challenge to those who think that these contrails are "normal." I challenge anyone to go through their family pictures, films and videos that were shot before, say 1990. Come up with pictures that show contrails like we see today in our skies. I don't mean a single, short contrail as one might see on a rare occasion but the extensive grid patters, "X's" and collections of parallel trails that we now see nearly every day. Any takers?

Hey, Mr. Rense,

If you want to see a beautiful American sky with NO chemtrails, watch "Guns Along the Mohawk," shot in 1939 in glorious Technicolor.

P.S. - I live in a military town. They swear an oath to defend us from enemies "both foreign and domestic." From what I can see, our military pilots are completely indifferent to the chemtrail pilots flying above their heads. I've watched this happen many, many times.

Jeff,

I can always tell when you have posted one of my messages, my Inbox is full! Nearly all agreed that no "chemtrail" pictures could be found and that the challenge was a good idea. It is always encouraging to know that there are others out there (even in my home town) who can see that the Emperor has no clothes; people who believe their own eyes instead of blindly believing what they are told. I would like to thank those who took the time to respond, there were too many for me to reply to all.

One message told of spraying here in the Pacific Northwest of DDT from planes at low altitude in the late 50s and early 60s. I remember when I was a boy, the DDT spray trucks periodically came through our neighborhood to eradicate the mosquitoes. I had no idea this had also been done from the air in some locales. Another writer (I won't give his name for he did not give me permission to do so) sent a picture (attached) he claims he took in NE Arkansas in December of 1983, a "Big X" like we see so often here over Eugene! Yet another commented that he recently saw one of his favorite western movies, shot in the late 50s which showed panoramic shots of beautiful, clear blue skies. I have seen contrails in recent films, TV commercials, sporting events on TV and even over New York during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!

I realize that it would be difficult to prove the authenticity of the date of some pictures, videos or films, we will have to take the word of the sender. But, again, if anyone has such pictures, please send them. It may turn out that some spraying has been done in the recent or more distant past at a smaller scale. Thanks again, Jeff.

Jeff,

I received a number of photos from folks of contrails, pre-1990. Here is one taken from the film 'Spies Like Us'.

Saw your story at the Rense site. Attatched please find a still frame from the movie "spies like us". The movie was a comedy starring Chevy Chase and Dan Akroyd. A real funny show! I believe this particular shot was taken in 1984.........(strangely appropriate). The photo clearly shows what appears to be a long chemtrail which goes behind a cloud and then is shown to continue if observed closely.

Mitch

Dear Mr. Szymanski, I read your article about chemtrails prior to 1990 and did a search through my records. I do a lot of wildlife and scenic photography and I have photos of these chemtrails prior to 1990. I am not into debunking, I agree that something is going on because I have two eyes and my senses.

Many people think this is an attempt at weather modification, but from where I view the trails - other things come to mind. Many of the photos you see are from areas where there is a lot of congestion so people don't actually see a start or finish. In Rapid City, S.D. you have a clear view of the skies.

What got my attention was the aircraft coming accross and then a sputter, and then the appearance of the trails. And then you can see where they terminate - this is a small town, why waste the whatever?

I was photographing bald eagles in town this week when an aircraft came by and literally started to spray in front of me. All I had was my 500MM lens, so I took a photograph with nothing to the left and the trail to the right.

I also spotted an aircraft a little lower than usuall with the sun hitting just right. Through the binoculars I could clearly make out a bright orange tail, and both wing tips had orange stabilizers on them. After I put down the binocs, it took a few seconds to get to the camera because it was pointed toward the eagle on a tripod.

If these new photos are of any quality I will forward them - probably not till Jan, it depends on how these stubborn birds are going to cooperate. I will also locate a few of my slides and scan them in - I have thousands to look through and it is just a question of time.

Crisp Point was taken in 1987
Traverset was taken in 1988
Ts. Marys Lake was taken in1988

Paul, here are a couple of pics that I dug out of my archives. Both of these were taken about 2 days apart in June of 1987. The one with the redwood actually has 6 trails in it, you can see two more in the lower rt corner. These are a result of a military formation, Its the only reason I took that pic, it looked unique at the time.
