Listen On, Uncle Sam
By Mark Gillespie
12-20-2

Well, it's official. The "U.S. Government" can listen in on pretty much any conversation or communication if there is even a "suspicion" of terrorist activity. Ooooh, we should be petrified. Come on, no one who is in the know about the nature of the beast should even be surprised that this is occuring. It is just one more step toward the coming dictatorship in America. After all, it wouldn't take but another catastrophic "terrorist" incident to incite Americans into giving up even the "protection" of Congress and allowing the President to decide for himself where the resources of the country are to be applied.

Anyone with even a brief understanding of power and its usage in the hands of American politicians (and all other politicians around the world), would know that the seeds for a virtual usurpation of power from your so-called Congress to a dictator were sown almost 70 years ago. It is not spoken about in the media or in the hallowed halls of Congress, but, by executive order, the President can make himself into a dictator.

During the Kennedy presidency, executive orders were issued giving the President control over every resource, industry and person within the confines of American soil. Executive orders 10995-11005 gave government control to various members of the Cabinet, who report directly to and take orders from the President. However, he was not the first president to assume or be given direct power. Abraham Lincoln, with his "greenback" debacle, was probably the first president in American history to directly assume the reins of power (you can beg to differ).

In 1933, President Roosevelt was given broad powers by Congress in a so-called "state of emergency". Since him there have been many "declarations of emergency" by many different Presidents. There were, according to the Senate Report 93-549 (1973), 4 presidential declarations in effect. Roosevelt's in '33, Truman's in '50 and Nixon's in '70 and '71. Of course, a cursory glance at all of the executive orders issued since '73 will show that there were continuing states of emergency under Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush the 1st, Clinton and now Bush the 2nd. Speaking of Clinton, it is surprising that he is so notorious for his oral propensities and not for his powermongering. His executive order #12919 combines all of the previous emergency orders before it into one single EO! That man had bigger balls than Monica realized.

So, what does all of this mean? It's simple. The U.S. Government hasn't, doesn't and won't care about your "Constitutional rights" or any such junk when it decides to do what it will do. Your "government" is no longer a government by the people, of the people or for the people. If it is better for your husband to be in work camp #3 and for you to go to #2, that's what will occur. If your religious beliefs don't jibe with the government's stance on war, be prepared to do some time. If the government wants to give you a new "dollar" and repudiate the old one, so be it. Lastly, if the government wants to hear your conversations, monitor your television, bug your cell phone and read your mail, it will do so. Period.

This is why, in my opinion, people do us a disservice when they try to push the "Constitution" on us and agitate for our "rights". Your government has already said that you have no rights. So, what are we to do? Act as if we will be given back a portion of the protection that the so-called constitution "gave" us? Or do we just say f***k the whole thing, pick up our guns and tell the "government" to go home? You choose. I already have.
