Texas Tech Plague Vials
Mystery Deepens

Hello, Jeff - There really are so many unanswered questions with few, or conflicting, answers. There is something VERY very sinister going on here... Is Butler a dupe? Was he to be part of a plot to hasten the war with Iraq before Saudis convince Iraqi generals to switch loyalities and avert a war? Was there a plot to use the plague to start an Iraq war? Is Butler going to be connected to the anthrax attacks? More questions.

At this time, I can only presume and try to connect dots with information at hand. I can assue you that the situation with Dr. Butler is very serious. Prior to his arrest, the faculty at the university had a meeting and tried to ascertain what was going on, and what their public relations policy on this should be.

As the listeners to your program know, this story broke and was unfolding when I was on the air with you on Jan 15th. We had little information at the time. Since then, more has come to light.

Briefly, a Texas Tech Scientist, expert and 25 year veteran of plague research reported 30 missing vials of plague. The samples were from tissue from East Africa. (this is significant because of the previous anthrax attack and lessons learned which I will discuss later)

Dr. Thomas Butler made a report of the vials gone missing. He was arrested Wednesday night, after he, himself, went missing for 24 hours. He was denied bond and held for arraignment. The charge, simply making a false police report. A bit harsh, i.e. being denied bond for such a charge.

* A 25 year expert "accidently?" destroys 30 vials of plague?

* This expert, PhD, then panics and reports them 'missing'?

* Then, he turns around and supplies the FBI with handwritten note stating that the vials were destroyed and he lied about them missing?

* Then, he goes missing and then is arrested and held without bond?

Are we being sold a bill of goods or what?

Few know that Texas Tech has NATO funding...and funding from the murky Howard Hughes Medical Institute...and SUBCCOM military biochem funding and Bush affiliation.

So, what is happening for real?

THEORY AND CONJECTURE

Was the good doctor, who, incidently, brought the plague into the US without proper paperwork, working with NATO or.... in an attempt to either:

1. Release plague in, perhaps, a NY subway blaming Iraq for the attack? or,

2. Was the plague going to be weaponized and placed in Iraq for the weapons inspectors to find?

3. Or?

LESSONS LEARNED FROM ANTHRAX ATTACKS

After 9/11 we had the anthrax attacks. Bush tried, but failed to prove Iraqi complicity in those attacks. Why?

That effort failed because the anthrax was a Ft. Detrick product with its genetic signature. The administration could not deny the anthrax was home grown, and home weaponized. Iraq had nothing to do with it.

So, 'they' go to East Africa and gather plague samples. Then they bring them back to the US and weaponize them in either Russian or Iraqi signature style. They now have plague that appears to look Iraqi or Russian, either of which can be 'tied' to Iraq. Voila: instant WAG THE DOG, instant war.

Did Butler panic, destroy the stocks and call FBI reporting them missing?
Or is the plague now being weaponized by CIA?

Either way, Butler is being held and may "commit suicide" off some bridge, or be found hung in his cell.

There is something not right with the situation of missing plague vials at Texas Tech. This might be the very impetus used to trigger the war with Iraq.

Furthermore, I fail to see HOW the authorities can say that the plague vials are accounted for when Dr. Butler 'destroyed' them? Are we taking the word of a man arrested and held without bond? He stated they were destroyed and, presto, the Feds say they are accounted for.

BACK TO THE FACTS

The government is currently conducting an inventory of polio virus stocks as they fear some are missing and may turn up as bioweapons. The inventory is being conducted in university, and private and government labs. This act of inventory tells us that the government KNOWS there is a problem in US labs.

We had better take control of our labs and do serious background checks on our scientists and all lab personnel.

If the situation in Texas is a indicator of ineptitude, which it seems, we are in deep, deep trouble.
A dysfunctional US lab is just as, if not more, dangerous then foreign terrorists.
