- Colin Powell has been taking his share of flack over
the last year. African American celebrities have come right out and accused
him of being a House Negro and an Uncle Tom. After Mr. Powell's speech
at the UN today, I no longer think he's an Uncle Tom.
I KNOW he's an Uncle Tom.
Powell's speech was a joke. His so-called incontrovertible evidence was
the same recycled nonsense we've been hearing from his Massa for a year
now, with a little twist thrown in. Uncle Colin brought visual aids.
He had these neat little computer graphics of trucks, and satellite photos
that were supposed to be proof of a weapons program. What I found hilarious
was that Uncle Colin's proof amounted to a satellite picture of a patch
of dirt with no buildings on it, and yellow lines drawn in by the State
department. This photo of nothingness was supposed to be incontrovertible
proof of a chemical weapons program.
His evidence of Al-Qaeda links to Saddam was even weaker. Uncle Colin
claimed that an unnamed, unconfirmable source said that Al-Qaeda and Saddam
were in cahoots since the mid 90's. He offered no way to corroborate what
he said, but he really really swears it's true with sugar on top, honest.
Any credibility Uncle Colin once had with me is now totally gone. He's
Massa's boy to the bone, willing to say or do anything to help Massa get
his way.
Just to add an additional insult to our intelligence, Uncle Colin's sidekick
Richard Armitage appeared in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee
to talk about North Korea.

"Mr Armitage conceded that North Korea was a worse proliferator than
Iraq, selling missiles to Yemen, Pakistan, Iran, Egypt "and other
places". The US also had "suspicions" that North Korea had
spread nuclear weapons technology, indicating that Pakistan and Libya might
have benefited."
So. we KNOW for a fact that North Korea is selling missiles to so-called
Axis-of-Evil states. But they're not a threat that needs acting on, and
Iraq is, even though Iraq hasn't been selling any arms to anybody, and
the inspectors can't find any weapons of mass destruction. Duh.
And then there was the irony of the whole scene at the UN. In the room
where Uncle Colin made a laughingstock of himself hangs a replica of Picasso's
Guernica, a mural about Franco and the Nazi's bombing of Guernica, which
was a massacre of the Basque people conducted to break the spirit of the
Basque so they could be annexed to Spain.

At the UN meeting, Guernica was nowhere to be found. Why? Because it
was covered up with a sheet just like the statues at the Justice Department
so as not to embarrass the USA or Uncle Colin.

This administration seems to enjoy draping sheets over faces, don't they?
FOCCED
Also in the news this week, more examples of how the American people have
been FOCCED by the Finance, Oil, Chemical, Credit, Energy and Defense industries
on Wall Street. There are currently US Green Berets in Colombia, training
Colombian soldiers.

-
- www.csmonitor.com/2003/0205/p07s02-woam.html
-
- "But US priorities in Colombia, the 10th-largest
oil supplier to the US, have been shifting for some time. American troops
are now authorized to train Colombian troops to fight rebels rather than
just intercept drugs.
-
- "Six months ago, Congress authorized $98 million
for equipment and troops to help protect the pipeline from guerrilla attacks...
-
- "Occidental Petroleum spokesman Larry Meriage, calls
the arrival of US troops "reassuring." He points to a December
explosion outside the Ca-o-Lim-n complex that killed two and wounded 11
Colombian Occidental security contractors.
-
- "Mr. Meriage says Occidental, which owns a large
stake in the Ca-o-Lim-n pipeline, is exploring other opportunities in Colombia's
upper Magdalena Valley and the central Llanos basin.
-
- "Of the $88 million that is certain to be used for
what is known as the "infrastructure security program," US officials
said $71 million would be provided for badly needed helicopters - the pipeline
brigade currently has none - and $17 million for actual training programs."
-
- Look at the above excerpts carefully. First, the Colombians
are being trained to fight rebels rather than just intercept drugs. Doesn't
this imply that these US troops are trained in drug interdiction?
And if they ARE trained in drug interdiction, why then aren't they using
these troops for drug interdiction in Afghanistan, where opium production
has increased by 4000% since 2001 thanks to G W Bush?
Then there's the money being spent. $98 million of the American taxpayer's
money being spent to guard the PRIVATE PROPERTY of an American company.
What's the matter Occidental? Don't want to pay for your own security?
You'd rather have the taxpayer pay FOR you, while you reap heady profits
at their expense?
But that's not even the worst insult here. Only $17 million is actually
being spent on training, while a big fat $71 million is going to be given
to fatcat defense contractors in the private sector, to buy helicopters
which will be used to protect the private property of another fatcat contractor,
with not one dollar in reimbursement coming back to the American people
from the deal.
-
-
- I have another question too. The bill was for $98 million.
Where's the other $10 million going? To the CIA to buy cocaine for sale
to colored people?
Then there's Bush's lovely 2004 budget. In the Homeland Security budget,
there's so much pork I can't even begin to describe it all. Let's take
a look at some of the most offensive stuff.
www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/politics/specials/fiscal/
$829 million to perform intelligence analysis and assess the nation's infrastructure,
such as transportation and water systems. Do the math here and be angry.
It works out to $45,000 and change PER STATE PER DAY to 'analyze' and
think about transport and water systems.
On what street is $45,000 a day the going rate for thinking about stuff?
$3.6 billion in Health and Human Services for bioterrorism programs. This
translates as 'free money for the pharmaceutical industry in which G W
Bush's trust fund is heavily invested', while the Center For Disease control
gets $33 million cut from its budget.
The EPA loses another $150 million this year. That's $950 million taken
out of the EPA's annual budget by G W Bush over the last three years.
Department of Transportation gets a $900 million subsidy for Amtrack.
More corporate charity.
Naturally, the Department of Energy gets a boost too, with an additional
$1.3 billion in this year's budget.
So where does all this extra money come from?
Remember Bush and Kennedy signing the Leave No Child Behind education bill?
The $28 billion education package that was supposed to help fix America's
schools?
Bush left $5.3 billion of the Leave No Child Behind money behind and gave
it away to his friends, leaving just $22.7 billion in the 2004 budget for
the education bill.
Like I said earlier: America, YOU'VE BEEN FOCCED. It's time to wake up
and impeach the bastard before he FOCCS America up beyond all recognition.
IMPEACH GEORGE W BUSH !!!
Peace
