- GAZA (Reuters) - A top militant
from the Islamic group Hamas was among six Palestinians killed when an
Israeli helicopter gunship slammed missiles into a car in the Gaza Strip
Wednesday, Palestinian hospital officials said.

- Tito Massaoud, a leader in Hamas's Izz-el-Deen al-Qassam
military wing, was killed in the missile attack along with another Hamas
militant who was traveling in the car with him, hospital officials said.

- Four passers-by were also killed in the missile strike
in the midst of a residential neighborhood near Gaza City. The strike took
place shortly after a Palestinian suicide bomber killed at least 13 people
traveling on a bus in Jerusalem.
