- Hi Jeff,
-
- Apparently there is more to see than just UFOs if you
look up once in a while at highway overpasses in Seattle, Portland and
Tacoma.
-
- I haven't seen or heard anything yet in the regular Northwest
media news this information so I am forwarding.
-
- I passed a group who apparently had just hung a banner
at an overpass over Interstate five today (so thousands of travelers have
probably seen by now). The banner said www.stopbushseattle.com
-
- Usually its front page news in Seattle if a banner is
hung over I-5 usually by some rappeling dare-devil but I doubt this will
even make any story or photo. Why? It was a banner by Bush critics. Nothing
new right? I was wondering why two patrol cars just moments before had
come racing down Madison St. with lights on and were blocking Eastbound
traffic. They appeared to be attempting to check out the situation. When
I drove by a few minutes later the officers were gone. I assume they left
when they assessed the group was harmless and wasn't interfering with traffic
(likely as much as they were).
-
- I checked the web site out and several organizations
including SNOW - Sound Nonviolent Opponents of War are announcing large
rallys in Portland, Bellevue, Tacoma and Seattle and drivers are likely
to see banners displayed at these city overpasses this week.
-
- Small?
-
- In Seattle they are stating over 100,000 will be attending
Myrtle Edwards Park Aug. 23 at noon for a "Stop Bush" rally and
march. (Interestingly this park is located just behind Seattle-Post Intelligencer
in downtown Seattle).
-
- I don't think this will be small and wonder if the Seattle
and Northwest newspapers and media will eventually report news happening
right under their noses (or in this case over their heads at overpasses).
-
- We'll see. Keep looking up.
-
