PROOF - HILLARY DEFINITELY
RUNNING IN 2004!

From Lynx Feld

Jeff,

Ater months of denials, here's proof Hillary lied about a 2004 Presidential bid:

Go to the Federal Election Commission homepage at www.fec.gov.

On the left of their homepage is a link labeled "Campaign Finance Reports and Data", click it.

Scroll down a ways to Image/Query System, under that choose "View Financial Reports"...

Under the intro paragraph choose "Search the Report Image System"

In the dialogue box type "Clinton" and click "Get Listing"

20 entries down you`ll see "CLINTON, HILLARY RODHAM", click on the blue number "P00003392" beside her name.

Guess what? "Presidential Candidate 2004 ".

Hillary Rodham Clinton ( or a Committee for her ) filed late Friday, Oct 3rd, with the Federal Election Commission to run for President in 2004.

Here is the exact data:

Presented by the Federal Election Commission
CLINTON, HILLARY RODHAM ID: P00003392
Office Sought: President
Election Year: 2004
State: Presidential Candidate
District: 03
Party: DEM (Democratic Party)

Take note it could have been someone registering for her without her knowledge....the needed "A" indicator which states that it was authorized by the candidate is missing...

such as the Draft Gore filing at the FEC see; http://herndon1.sdrdc.com/cgi-bin/fecimg/?C00384271

Re: Elena Montes
The indicator in Hillary's column for Type of Registration is 0 so it is not necessarly unauthorized. U is the designation symbol for "unauthorized".

This certainly gives Hillary plenty of wiggle room, though, doesn't it. She can leap in anytime she wants. It is perfectly predictable that the Clinton's would have someone ELSE file so Hillary can claim she's not running right up to the last minute, just like Bill when he promised to serve out his term as GOV of Arkansas, lying right through his teeth.

No Proof??

The committee name is Clinton, Hillary Rodham, this is not the name of the candidate. In fact, no candidate is listed. I see no proof that the person Hillary Clinton is running for prez. Look up any other candidate that you know is running and see what a real filing looks like.

Is Hillary running?

This Federal Election Commission report will probably start making the rounds. It shows the formation of a Hillary Clinton for President in 2004 committee.

CLINTON, HILLARY RODHAM ID: P00003392
Office Sought: President
Election Year: 2004
State: Presidential Candidate
District: 03
Party: DEM (Democratic Party)

It looks legit. And it wasn't filed by an unauthorized draft movement (I compared it to reports filed by the draft Clark movement). It appears to be official.

Still, I wouldn't discount the possibility that the committee is somehow unofficial. She has denied she was running for so long, and the Clintons have their preferred candidate in the race (Clark). So this makes little sense.

Update: From the sleuths in the comment boards, it does look like this filing hails from a Hillary afficionado (or troublemaking freeper nut?). The candidate ID number is the same as that of a similar 2000 filing. Wired News <http://www.wired.com/news/politics/0,1283,21559,00.html>got the scoop at the time.

But no, the first lady is not -- or at least not yet -- attempting to avoid having to pack her bags and move out of the Clintons' White House digs by January 2001.

The cause of the apparently misleading info: Arcana buried in dusty FEC regulations, which make little sense at the best of times, and are near-inpenetrable here.

It turns out that devout Hillary fan Tom McMullen kicked off what amounted to a draft-Hillary movement in January when he formed a committee called "People for American Leadership."

As soon as that happened, it triggered a clause in the labyrinthine Code of Federal Regulations, and McMullen registered with the Feds by filling out FEC Form 1.

So it's no big deal.

Thanks,
David

I think it is a big deal, David. This is typical Clinton tactics. They want the White House again, that's no secret. Dick Morris has exposed what we all know in our gut. We have to remember that Bill Clinton did practically the same thing when Governor of Arkansas. The "FOB" (Friends Of Bill) maneuvered behind the scenes for him, while he was able to look people squarely in the face and say he wasn't running.
