US Convoy Hit -
Explosions Rock Baghdad

A US military convoy has been hit by a bomb in Baghdad, it has been reported.
 
It is not known whether there are any casualties.
 
A humvee vehicle was damaged in the attack, an Iraqi policeman told the AFP news agency.
 
It was the second explosion to rock the Iraq capital on Thursday night.
 
An explosive device, possibly a mortar round, went off inside a printing shop, killing two people and injuring four.
 
Gunfire broke out in the area as American helicopters flew overhead.
 
Witnesses saw firefighters and two fire engine fighting the blaze in an area known for its rows of bookshops and antique stores.
 
Debris and broken glass littered the sidewalks.
 
US soldiers and Iraqi policemen blocked off the area and pushed away hundreds of onlookers.
 
Baghdad has been hit by a series of explosions in recently, most of them caused by suicide bombers driving vehicles into police stations or other targets such as the international Red Cross building.
 
Dozens of people have been killed, with scores injured, this week.
 
Authorities have variously blamed former President Saddam Hussein's loyalists or Islamic militants for the attacks.
