- I am a regular reader of your site, and read the article
about the English "meteor".

- But, my wife did not read the article. So, when she came
home last holiday monday (Oct. 13) and described an incredible sighting
to me, I was surprised.

- She was on the way to the gym at 7:00pm and this is what
she saw:

- Sky was covered with alto or cirro stratus clouds. A
large flaming projectile broke through cloud cover and started a fiery
descent. On the TWO MINUTE drive to the club, the object continued to descend.

- When she got to the club, she ran in and asked an attendant
to come out and see the object.
- The attendant did so, and watched the object until it
went below the tree line (about another 30 seconds). Our estimate is that
it struck Lake Ontario, but could not be certain.

- Strange how there was nothing on the local news that
day.

- I showed her the picture of the English object yesterday,
and she could not believe how identical the picture in the article was
to her sighting. I am still trying to identify the health club attendant.
My wife was quite sober and is a very credible witness.
