- MOSUL, Iraq (Reuters) --
Guerrillas with guns and rocket-propelled grenades ambushed a U.S. convoy
in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul Friday, killing an American soldier
and wounding six others, the U.S. Army said.

soldiers killed in action in Iraq since President Bush declared major combat
over on May 1.
