soldier died Nov. 12 at approximately 1:35 p.m. from wounds sustained from
an improvised explosive device explosion and one other soldier was wounded.

- The soldiers' vehicle struck an IED while conducting
a patrol in Baghdad at approximately 9 a.m. Nov. 12.

- The wounded soldiers were evacuated to a military hospital.

- The soldiers' names are being withheld pending next-of-kin
notification.

- The incident is under investigation.
