- TIKRIT, Iraq - A Task Force
Ironhorse soldier was killed and two were injured in a vehicle accident
on Dec. 19 at approximately 10:15 a.m. north of Balad.

- The soldiers were in a convoy when the accident occurred.

- The two injured soldiers were evacuated to the 21st Combat
Support Hospital and are in stable condition.

- The name of the deceased soldier is not being released
pending next-of-kin notification.

- The accident is under investigation.
