A MUST READ AT THIS TIME OF YEAR -

WWI Christmas Truce By 1000s Of German Soldiers

Hi Jeff,

Obviously the heading above is from the article on your site today. I have read this account in the past and am always moved by this spontaneous act of humanity toward humanity. It has oft been asked; "What if they declared a war and no one came?" We know the answer to that immediately, the world would know peace at last. Hatred must be created and then generated in order to initiate war, our leaders are experts in this field.

Herman Goering

"Why, of course, the people don't want war. Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally, the common people don't want war: neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship . . . voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

911 accomplished this perfectly for our American military/corporate leaders. One would almost think this was text book war room strategy, at least Goering would.

The article above (very top) is the best testimonial I have yet read which proves beyond a doubt that it isn't the man on the street, the working citizen, the Mom's and Dad's who want war, it is, and always has been, the banking cartels, the powers of Wall Street (all), the Corporate hogs, the political servants and lobbyist of same who strive for war and killing, simply because it further lines their greedy pockets. War is the easiest way to create large case flows for the elite, oil, drugs and other national wealth, after all, it isn't their son's and daughter's that are killed and maimed in the process of obtaining these riches for the movers and shakers, they are safely exempted and safely away at some wealthy university.

When thousands of young men who have been conditioned to hate and kill each other can call a truce in the middle of mortal combat, such as during WWl, then surely they know the score, and who created the evil they are forced to carry out through twisted and militarily enforced laws.

Only when men and women refuse to the above conditioning of hatred toward their fellow man for the sake of lucre for the rich and powerful will there be true peace on earth. Instead of killing each other, nations should begin to identify those who would compromise and kill off our most valued resource, our children, and bring these monsters to judgment, regardless of their political affiliations. I don't care if they have only been in office a month, if they are presupposed to war for the corporate sake, then ditch (impeach) them immediately and place someone else in the office, do it as many times as it takes to install someone who realizes he or she serves the public, not the other way around. Sadly, we will not do this because we lack the courage or the moral strength to bring these killers, these "leaders" of our nations to task.

If American soldiers and Iraqi insurgents or civilians, in Iraq truly want peace, let them honor the respected religions and traditions of each other and declare their own peace. Even a short break would send a message to the war mongers around the world. But first, we must be willing to allow nations to rule their own affairs.

As the song says, "Let there be peace and let it begin with me."

Personally, I anxiously await the return of the "Prince Of Peace," Jesus, the Christ, because history has proven that man is totally incapable of this goal, six thousand years and absolutely no progress, not an inspiring track record. Meanwhile, some of us can take a short reprieve and give thanks at this special time of the year for those who bridge the gap between sanity and insanity in our world whether they are able to agree or not, our misused and totally abused American service men and women. These champions of freedom have no say in what the "system of supreme evil" compels them to do. I have served my country and I know how they feel. In the deepest recesses of their hearts they want to believe they are protecting their nation, their beloved America. The cherish their honor and protect it against all adversity. They love their God, their families, and their country with all of their hearts. We can never blame our soldiers for America's horrors of war, they are pawns who stepped into unfamiliar waters, except maybe those hybrids who have no moral conscience, or regard for life, and simply love to maim, destroy and kill. These place the black marks on our valiant protectors of freedom.

God have mercy on us, a nation, no, a world gone berserk.
