'Bring 'Em On' -

Hi Jeff,

Looks like Bush is going to secure himself eight million more votes (which he should need if every American voted as they should) by keeping the gates open to one and all. The following was on the evening news yesterday:

Bush plan allows illegals to stay Offers reprieve to 8 million workers facing deportation

Side Note: How about the possible terrorist element they are so concerned about that they keep our nerves totally shot with flashing their little mind conditioning color codes? Wouldn't it seem to be an insurmountable task to screen potential terrorist out of eight million plus individuals swarming into our country and settling all over our nation? Makes one wonder if Washington is "really" concerned about "terrorist." We don't need to be concerned about the many airplanes, ships and shipping crates entering our country unchecked, terrorist can simply walk across our open borders at will, we'll even give them a drivers license authorizing them to vote, and a job as soon as they step foot in America.

We can also look for an elevated appearance of our old friend Osama as the election draws near, and God only knows what type of horrible 911 style disaster they (the hidden powers) have planned for our people this next time, we must get that "fear element" back up to election level, Iraq is losing it's effectiveness and popularity as the dead continue to arrive back in America. After all, we know (and they know) that seldom is a sitting or incumbent president replaced during times of crisis or war.

According to Bush, these people, (aliens), are to take jobs that American's do not want. I am hard pressed to believe that with the state of the economy such as ours is in, the dollar sinking like the Titanic against the Euro, the obscene national debt, along with the deplorable rate of unemployment, and folks losing their homes and cannot afford basic health coverage or medications, (and the list of need goes on), that eight million American's are refusing available jobs. "I will send them strong delusion, that they will believe the lie(s) and be damned." This "positive" crap coming out of Washington sounds like it was taken right from the pages of George Orwell's 1984. "Shoe manufacturing and sales are up; We're winning the war in Eurasia and all is positive in Oceania." Now, if we look at this incursion of bodies from south of the border as potential votes (which they will be), then that would be more believable.

I have a suggestion. If it is solely by the benevolent and gracious heart that Bush is allowing our already burdened and struggling economically challenged country to be over run, while farmers and ranchers continue to lose their lands, and workers their jobs, then why not have the "new comers" earn their way? Why not impose a time statute on them, say a seven to ten year period in this country as "temporary guest" paying taxes, performing civil and community work and serving in our armed forces (like many of us have) before they are permitted to vote in any election, or secure permanent residency (citizenship)? Why should they be "given" what millions of Americans have worked hard for and died for on some God forsaken bloody field in a foreign land to make possible for their own families?

I am not against charity, nor am I against any person earning a living, or sharing the great wealth of America, American's are by nature the most charitable people on earth. But, American children are doing without medical care; American children are going to bed hungry; American children are leaving school systems more ignorant than when they started; American families are losing their homes; American men and women are looking for jobs (many have simply become so discouraged they have given up looking), news groups in my area are reporting that clothing banks and food banks are now over overwhelmed by needs and are now suffering dire shortages of essentials to help people with. Churches and charitable organizations can't keep up with request for aid. Does this sound like a glowing economy? Not to me. Does George Bush EVER look at America? $85 billion dollars to the sand pits of Iraq and into the hands of Bush's corporate friends via contracts, plus an estimated $1 billion dollars a week to wage this stupid war of slaughter, and seniors in America can't afford life sustaining medications, give me a break!
Also, there should be a limit as to how much of our national wealth (income) they (aliens) should be able to send back to Ma Ma and Pa Pa across the border. Three and four families to a dwelling here in the small bergs throughout rural America, our schools over crowded, our social and welfare organizations and hospitals taxed to the limit from additional demands (who do we think pays for this additional burden?), and big dollars head back across the border to Viva La Mexico. Your son and daughter are finding it very difficult to get an after schools job now, but walk into any fast food restaurant and look around, see who has the jobs, you have to have a translator to order a hamburger today. No offense to the Mexicans, if I were a Mexican I would be trying to get the jobs also, but why not help Mexico develop its own economy and train its people to create internal growth there, so they will have jobs there for them? We should start holding our "representatives" accountable, by that I mean, if they continue not to represent our interest, send them on their way WITHOUT ANY perks, that includes (especially) the Oval Office.

Millions of hard working Americans of all ethnic persuasions slaved many years to build this nation into the great land she is by serving these mega corporations as almost slaves, now the rich boys, made rich by our sweat and blood, are sending our only good jobs over seas, jobs as common as tax return accountants, that's right, your tax return may be done in India, where more fools will work for a very small piece of the huge corporate pie, leaving the bottom of the barrel jobs here and now they are giving these jobs to non Americans. Sooner or later these same third world countries getting our high tech jobs at a low pay will begin to form unions and strike for higher earnings and benefits placing the corporations right back where they were when they abandoned the American worker. The only problem being, America will have become the third world country looking to places like India for financial handouts. Yeah, we're a bright people all right! Why shouldn't American's be totally torqued?

No foreign terrorist or enemy will ever defeat America, we are simply going to "stupid away." Total ignorance will be our demise. Sadly, we can no longer call of God, in our gross stupidity and wickedness we have kicked God out of our affairs because we are so intelligent that we don't need divine assistance....NOT.

Who do we call? Sorry Ghost Busters or Oprah won't get the job done. The established church won't help, it is part of the problem, part of the system, not the solution, it can't rake in enough money and power fast enough itself, the state controlled church is afraid it will lose it's tax exempt status to the state, it is in bed with Caesar. I am the problem, you and I, us, we. There is no Knight in shining armor coming to our rescue, Bush and gang will not save us, they will only take us further under, if we survive it will be by taking back our country through the constitutional, electoral (accountable [paper vote]) process, before they steal and destroy what remains of it. If we fail to act, America will fall from it's own weight of debauchery, ignorance and unconcern.

Think about this, once a train stops moving it is extremely difficult to override inertia and start it moving again, this train (America) is slowing quickly, we cannot allow this train (America) to stop moving. The life boats (America's sustaining resources are maxed out) are full, and American's have been more than liberal with their acceptance of those entering our shores, but why capsize the few boats saving us by adding more humanity/weight/burdens when it would mean possible economic disaster for those who are already barely holding on? Do we really think the rich and elite are concerned? Will their Chateaubriand and imported Dom Perignon suffer? Not at all! They will continue attending their high dollar conventions and partying down, kissing the rings of the movers and shakers and trying their best to be accepted in the circles of the elite. No, the rich won't save us, their aim and goal is to keep us oppressed and feeding the gluttonous bellies of the corporate giants, this is a working man and woman's war, it is our very survival at stake here.

Ask yourself, while you were a loyal employee, worked, sweated, worried and strived not to miss a day serving the masters of the corporate world for twenty-five or thirty years just to pay your bills and own a modest dwelling, forget good times and luxuries, how loyal were the masters when you needed them when "down sizing" began, a token severance and later annulled promised benefits? Not only did they take our jobs, they came back and stole the meager savings (Enron and the like) we had slaved to put away for old age to boot. We personally lost more than $10,000 in less than three months from our very small savings (IRA), this was a drop in the bucket to some, but still significant for my wife and I at this stage of our lives. It is definitely a truism, we came into this world with nothing and it is assured that we will take nothing out (if the wealthy have anything to do with it), most of us can't even afford our own funerals.

HAVE A NICE DAY! (If you can afford it)

Jerry L. Gardner
