- Martha Stewart has whipped up a disaster of a party this
time. The truth or lies of a star struck broker's assistant combined with
a determined federal prosecutor may well result in a federal prison sentence
for the domestic doyenne. If Martha ends up in federal prison, what can
she expect? As a former attorney who served a 38-month sentence for securities
fraud in federal prison, AKA ClubFed, there's little about the prison experience
that I didn't endure. Here are a few things Martha has to look forward
to if convicted and sentenced to prison:
-
-
-
- * strip searches that can include body cavity searches
-
- * shakedowns of her cell which won't be a private room
-
- * unlicensed medical personnel to handle her medical
complaints
-
-
-
- I have been where Martha Stewart now finds herself and
survived the brutal unreality of America's alleged ClubFed prisons. Currently,
I am Director of Government Affairs for the nonprofit Federal Prison Policy
Project. I'm available to discuss with you what a federal trial and federal
prison is like for a woman.

- Your listeners are going to want to know what Martha
can expect in federal prison. Let them hear it from someone who has experienced
it instead of from a defense attorney who has no idea what the prison experience
is like. I have been a frequent guest on Fox, MSNBC and CNBC news shows.
A frequent guest on the airwaves, I have done radio shows from Canada
to Guam and from LA to Boston including Bloomberg Radio, WBIX, Newsweek
on Air, and numerous others. If you would like, I will provide a copy
of my credentials and a graphic photograph from where I was beaten while
in federal prison. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
