- I received a question from Barbara Simpson, who has her
own radio show in San Francisco, and who also writes for WorldNetDaily.com.
She asked a question, which other Americans have asked me as well - about
the coming slaughter of whites in SA. This was triggered by a quite a potent
article was written by the owner of WorldNetDaily.com - Joe Farah. (For
South Africans: WND is the biggest conservative website in the USA - it
is massive). Mr Farah wrote that there were several plans, given various
names, in which whites will be slaughtered when Mandela dies.

- I've heard rumours of these things for quite some time
but was never able to establish the real source of these items. There is
talk, doing the rounds in certain right-wing and ex-South African circles,
of an "Operation White Out" - that the Russians told Mandela
some years ago, they must wipe us whites out. I've never been able to establish
where these rumours come from. Who created the rumours? I don't know. I
can't say if these are figments of the Right Wing's imagination or whether
these items were thought up by those who want to scare us or what. I can't
tell you. All I can say, is these have been floating around for some time
and to date I've never been able to establish the real source.

- All I can say is this: It appears to me, the sources
for Mr Farah's article may well be whites in the far right - sort of AWB
type of folks. It appears this "information" was passed on, in
good faith to Mr Farah, but I doubt even his sources will be able to say,
precisely where it comes from. And I doubt very much they know with any
certainty themselves.

- I feel it is a case of "crying wolf" a bit
too soon. There is no doubt in my mind, that the bastard scum who run this
country, have every intention of slowly pulling the rug from under our
feet, but I do not think we know with any certainty of all these planned
"operations".

- I have also wondered if such stories are just a scare
tactic too?

- Such a thing could happen. I do not doubt it - if the
political conditions are right. But I do question these particular stories.

- In my book, Government by Deception I quoted two instances
I know of. One was a Professor, who lectures on revolutionary warfare at
a university here in South Africa. He told me, he has an informer, who
told him some years ago, of a plan to bus blacks into the white suburbs
to squat all over the place and to create a "Zimbabwe-style ruckus"
to make us abandon our homes and to drive us out.

- I also told the story of the gardner who told my mother,
that on talk shows, on black radio stations in Soweto, etc - many black
callers spoke about the day when the ANC will drive the whites out and
the blacks will move into our homes. The gardner said that the blacks firmly
believed this day would come, but they were not sure exactly how the ANC
aimed to do it. If you question blacks about these things they normally
deny it. They're embarrassed (as they should be) to discuss these things
with whites. However, Susan Maleka, a former communist propaganda writer
(a black woman), in the ANC, told me that blacks did speak of such things.
She said however it was all "hypothetical". She of course admitted
to me too that she was a communist and in love with Marxism, so I doubt
she'd want to tell me the whole story too.

- Look - the ANC has been telling blacks "unofficially"
and in an "off-the-record" way - for years - that they will be
getting our houses. We all know of this. It happened a lot in 1994. Now
I believe, the ANC has every intention of keeping that promise, and the
black masses, in their collective insanity and greed, have every intention
of grabbing our possessions if the ANC let them. There were many stories
in 1994 where blacks walked into white people's houses and said they were
looking around (as if shopping), because the ANC was going to give it to
them. Many people dismiss this as silliness on the part of the ANC.

- It is a known fact that the ANC and all communists have
the attitude that: (a) They tell their followers the truth (b) They tell
the Westerners/whites lies.

- There is also the issue of language, where we have heard
time and again, that when government officials speak in a "black language",
they say very different things to when they speak in english. They always
say more radical things when speaking to a black audience in their own
language. That's because they know most whites won't know what is being
said.

- So there is no question in my mind, that the ANC's public
statements are not worth a scrap of paper. But, what they may be dreaming
and scheming of is a whole different kettle of fish.

- So yes, I do believe some kind of action will be aimed
at whites - when it will happen I don't know. It could be 5 years, or 50
years from now. But I believe it will come. I believe so, because the ANC's
powerbase will be threatened one day, if it does not deliver.

- And it is this "delivery to the blacks" which
whites should take seriously. These black masses, in their collective stupidity
and madness, WANT THINGS. They want houses, they want land, etc. The ANC
encourages this, and the ANC will deliver. In other countries, their attitude
has been to make things hot for whites so whites leave. Someone who lived
in Zambia told me that the Zambians wiped out white farming there by taxing
them to death until they left. They did it QUIETLY until the whites were
gone.

- In SA, I believe, the bastard scum are using crime, Affirmative
Action, taxes, investigations by Receiver of Revenue into ALL YOUR ASSETS,
etc, etc - so hound us, make it "hot" for us, irritate us, p*ss
us off, etc so we pack our bags and stuff off.

- Even so, it is impractical for EVERYONE to leave as there
are millions of poor and badly skilled whites. The rich and upper classes
can run. The poor whites cannot run. For them, it will be conflict. For
them, conflict will stare them in the face one day.

- Personally, I believe, South Africa is a race war waiting
to happen. It will be done when the blacks are good and ready for it. For
now, they're moving in softly, and slowly, pushing here, stealing there,
irritating us, etc. They're trying some subtle scare tactics. They do it
carefully so nobody can overtly prove its the ANC/SACP rubbish who are
behind it. But its there, and it will continue.

- This will flare into a bigger thing, when the time is
right. The blacks first want to weaken our position carefully, and slowly.
Their tactics don't always work, but they keep on trying, and will never
stop. However, desperation on their side may cause them to turn up the
heat on us when they feel strong enough to do it.

- And as in all things they do, they cover their tracks
by preparing lies for the media and for the world on WHY they are doing
this. For Mugabe, it was suddenly "we want land". Its not land
they want. That's the lie. Its the whites they want OUT.

- In South Africa, they tell you they want the land because
they need "jobs". That's not true. Seizing the land will lose
them more jobs. They are First Class liars. They don't want the land, and
they don't care about jobs. What they want is for us to be GONE!! But they
know they can't say that openly. They know it is racism. They can't justify
it to the USA or to England - and they fear the power of the Western world.
So they couch these things in a bunch of carefully prepared bogus reasons
as to why they are "forced by circumstances" to come and screw
us. Never underestimate the native cunning of these black marxist scum.
They're not half as stupid as liberals believe them to be.

- Anyway, I welcome the day when they try to kill whites
en masse, or drive us out. If we keep our wits about us, we can jurt them
really badly. In my book, I had a chapter called "The Whites Last
Stand". In that, I described how in 1963 or thereabouts, the blacks
in Angola wiped out the whites over a great frontage. They launched attacks
on white settlements and towns and slaughtered every white they came across.
Then in one small town, of 5,000 whites, the whites learned of the slaughters
and prepared themselves. That night 30,000 blacks descended upon the whites.
The whites slaughtered them. The whites defended their town with rifles
and shotguns, and they had to dig trenches with bulldozers to bury the
thousands of blacks they killed that night. And if you look into our history
- going all the way back to Blood River, where a few hundred whites armed
with muskets killed 3,000 Zulus - you will see, whenever whites are faced
with fully-blown conflict, we outperform the blacks.

- I looked at the logistics and practicality of a mass
attack on whites, and I feel it won't work. Sure, they'll kill plenty -
make no mistake. But they won't be able to wipe out 4 million of us. No
ways. Let them try it - just let them, let their 40 million try to take
us out... it is a physical impossibility and it would be the best thing
that ever happened to us. It will unite us for once and for all. Between
us, we have a million or more firearms (very possibly much more). The blacks
don't have the logistics to arm millions.

- I believe, the best option for them, is this guerilla
style of warfare - picking us off one by one, and covering it up with lies.
"Its crime", its a farm murder, its rape, its armed robbery.
That's their best hope. And even with that, they'll have to do it for the
next 50 years to have some effect.

- The blacks are not that organised, and even if they are,
history shows us what a mess they make of things. Even in Zimbabwe, there
were instances where farmers and workers fought back - until Mugabe had
to send troops to accompany the farm invaders or else they wouldn't get
the land. Make no mistake, the ANC have learned the real practical lessons
from "How to do land invasions Zimbabwe style".

- If anyone thinks, as is a common misperception, that
millions of wild and screaming blacks can just descend upon us, and kill
us to a man, then they're mistaken. It is not physically possible. They
need to arm millions of them, train them to shoot, give them weapons, transport,
etc. It requires a huge military preparation which will not go unnoticed.
And if they try to do it without military preparation, and try to catch
us by surprise, you still have the issue that there are millions of us
with cars, many with some kind of firearm, etc. Before long, we will form
into groups, start battling together, making plans, etc.

- The blacks tried to slaughter all the whites in Angola
in 1963 and they couldn't get it right. They were never even capable of
slaughtering the 250,000 whites in Rhodesia - so how are they going to
kill all 4.2 million of us? Its not gonna happen. Even if they kill 100,000
- so what. They've never in their history, killed even 1% of that number
of whites in a single battle.

- We are nowhere nearly as defenceless or useless as people
think - even with no preparations - we think quicker than they do, we work
better under pressure, etc. If you look at events that have happened in
conflicts in and around South Africa during the last 40 years, you'll see
time and again how the quick thinking of whites have saved their lives.

- My only lament is that whites don't have a proper defence
plan. That's my only lament. If we had a prope PLAN, for self-defence to
form units, to have rendezvous points, etc - then we'd survive in a jiffy.
But, even in the face of NO PLAN, I still am firmly convinced we have enough
whites here, who are armed and have weapons and some military training
(every one of us white males has done some kind of military service) -
that I think even with a surprise Zimbabwe-style attack, they cannot destroy
us as a group. Plenty will die - make no mistake - but they would never
be able to wipe us out as a group and they would never be able to break
us as a group.

- We can take them. Of that I am convinced. Outnumbered
10:1 - we can still take them. In past conflicts, where they used their
guerilla tactics (which give them a big advantage), we still wiped them
out at a ratio of 20:1. In a massive conventional conflict, the odds are
very much in our favour.

- People forget something else too. Blacks are actually
natural cowards. Blacks are not these super-macho, invincible types. Blacks,
especially in Africa, are actually huge cowards. It takes several big strong
black males to kill a white woman, or some old people, etc. They don't
come and take on white males man to man that often. And they only do if
they have numbers. Stand up to them, and they'll run away.

- Blacks are also useless shots. We can shoot much better
than they do. Even a useless shot like myself is still better than most
blacks. And most of us have been exposed to firearms much of our lives.

- And if you stand and shoot and waste your rounds - you
need more. Give millions of blacks firearms to go and fight whites and
you'll need truckloads and truckloads of ammunition.

- The idea of a mass white massacre and all the whites
dying screaming in one bloody mass is not a military reality. I'll tell
you what will happen - they'll come, kill several thousand of us, chase
us out our homes - then they'll run around stealing our things, and completely
forget about the task at hand. They'll dash off to have some beers and
get drunk, screw some women and will fall asleep. They'll soon lose focus.
Their commanders will have problems controlling them. They won't work all
day long. Their logistics will become a mess. They'll run out of fuel,
bullets, food, etc. They'll go and party and be drunk the next day. They
will win a couple of battles, get supremely overconfident and think they've
won the war. We'll regroup and start fighting back. Then you'll quickly
see how many of them give up on this war idea. You'll see many start running,
and panic setting in, etc.

- Blacks are NOT, strong and macho and brave. Blacks are
physically strong, but mentally weak and very prone to panic. Catch them
off guard with a surprise counter attack and they'll run like hell. They
only gain confidence from their numbers. The minute they feel threatened
they'll run like scared rabbits and will run a hundred miles without stopping
(I'm not joking nor over exaggerating either). These are facts. This is
reality. This is the way black Africans are and have always been.

- Blacks in Africa have NEVER NEVER NEVER won a conventional
war. They've never even come close to being able to carry it out by themselves.
Let them try it in South Africa. This is the worst place they could possibly
try it. Angola, at its height had 500,000 whites. The blacks could never
wipe them out. We have almost 10 times that number - plus, we have better
communications. We aren't isolated. We have highways, cars, cell phones,
etc. We have better communications, etc.

- Blacks can only go and kill old aged white people, and
isolated farmers sitting on their farms, unable to call for help. Because
they are cowards they kill the old, rape our women and kill our children
because they're not man enough to face the white men of this country.

- The blacks are hoping they can scare us and irritate
us, and make us run away. Because if it came to a straight fight, they
know we'd really hurt them.

- One thing about blacks - and one sees this so often -
is how their egos get the better of them. These blacks have such overblown
egos. Our famous Bafana bafana national soccer team is a perfect example.
They win one match, get totally drunk on their success and the next match
they play, they lose horribly. Their own overconfidence gets the better
of them. Then they think they're super-heroes and can do no wrong.

- Whites have a much tougher and resilient attitude. This
has been shown time and again in all the "liberation wars". When
the going gets tough - the blacks run away. When the going gets tough,
the whites knuckle down and start fighting. Who is fleeing Africa? Its
not whites by the million - its BLACKS. Blacks run. Its whites who have
to be driven off because they don't want to move. Blacks are the ones who
run the most easily of all.

- In South Africa today, blacks are walking around all
puffed up with their egos and whites are all quiet and humble. But I'm
telling you, if push came to shove, the quiet, humble whites will sock
it to the blacks. All the whites need is something to push them over the
edge. And underneath all that black macho ego, I tell you, are a bunch
of fraidy cat cowards who are afraid the whites will stand up to them.
In their hearts and souls, they know we are better than they are, and deep
down, they really FEAR US. Its not us who can't live with them. Its they
who are afraid we will be their superiors again. In their hearts they know
this and fear this. That's why THEY can't co-exist with us. Its not us
who can't handle it. Its THEM who can't handle it.

- I believe it is because of their weaknesses and faults,
that one day, they'll try to stab us in the back - try and knife us when
we least expect it. Let that day come. There may be thousands of white
corpses that day, but there'll be hundreds of thousands, if not millions
of their corpses too.

interesting article from the Spectator in England, wherein a Major General
in South Africa gives the indication that "Zimbabwe style" events
definitely will come to this country... the only question nobody can answer
exactly is: WHEN.

- In Johannesburg recently, I hooked up with Mojo, an old
drinking chum from Dar es Salaam, where in the 1980s I was an FT stringer
covering the frontline states, and he was an officer in the ANC,s armed
wing, Mkhonto we Sizwe. These days I,m a settler on the land in Kenya,
while Mojo has risen to become Lieutenant-General Mojo Matau, South Africa,s
chief of military intelligence. At our reunion the beers flowed freely
into the night as we remembered the old days. Mojo and I slapped each other
on the back and held hands for a bit. Then I asked my friend, this man
in the kitchen cabinet of ANC power in the new South Africa, what he thought
of Robert Mugabe. At his reply my heart sank. He described Zimbabwe,s President
as a hero for what he,s done to white farmers, and a leader who illuminated
the path ahead for South Africa. I remonstrated, as I always do, and ended
by telling Mojo that I saw myself as an African first, a white second,
and that it was my ardent wish to stay on the continent. Your only home,,
countered Mojo, gently taking my hand again, is England.,

towards Zimbabwe? Mugabe, to say it without beating around the liberal
bush, is a hero to many of my black African friends. Most of the people
I,m talking about are from the upper middle class, inheritors of the African
kingdom after colonialism. According to one Zambian, who is among my very
oldest of comrades, Mugabe is Shaka Zulu.,

- Mugabe is speaking for black people worldwide,, writes
the South African journalist Harry Mashabela. Regarded as a solid liberal
in his long career, and writing in the Helen Suzman Foundation,s September
newsletter, Mashabela pointed to the adoration Mugabe won at the World
Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg last year: The applause
and standing ovation were a tacit expression of appreciation of the courageous
stand Mugabe has taken in trying to resolve the critical land problems
facing his country.,

- Indeed, Mugabe and his lieutenants win ovations across
Africa: at a summit of the Southern African SADC trade bloc in August,
or at an ANC conference ten months ago, when President Thabo Mbeki got
up and hugged Zanu-PF loyalist Emmerson Mnangagwa. Mugabe laps it up. During
Zimbabwe,s sham elections in 2002, a correspondent asked him if he thought
the violent land invasions hadn,t damaged his image. He replied, If the
perception is that of Europeans, well, I suppose you are right to say my
reputation has gone down. But in terms of Africa, go anywhere and I am
a hero.,

- Mugabe,s pan-African admirers believe that his problems
" Zimbabwe,s 400 per cent inflation, three million starving, violence
" derive solely from the wish of the former colonial power and her
allies to punish him for redistributing white land to indigenous Africans.
Says Mashabela: Not human rights violations, not absence of the rule of
law and not bad governance as the British and American governments would
like us to believe.,

- African intellectuals see this in terms of Mugabe correcting
historical injustices,, my Zambian friend tells me. By now I don,t need
to remind you of Zimbabwe,s colonial story, the forgotten promises of the
Lancaster House Agreement, the building-land pressure and disproportionate
ownership of commercial farms by the tiny white minority. But surely it,s
not about that,, I say. Surely it,s that Mugabe is at war with his own
people. What about the MDC opposition?, My friend says, The MDC is regarded
as a white-backed movement that has no credibility.,

- The truth of what,s happening inside Zimbabwe doesn,t
matter here. We,ve moved into the territory of black racial prejudice,
which, just like its white counterpart, is rooted not in facts, or decency,
or humanity, but in irrational nonsense. Among these black friends of mine
in their tailored suits, drinking whisky and playing golf, I am simply
reminded of those people in England who profess to be tolerant, civilised
people, yet harbour ideas about niggers, yids and towelheads that make
them bedfellows of the BNP.

- Other than for whopping the white settlers, which is
sweet to see after centuries of oppression, etc., etc., why is Mugabe admired?
He has stood up to Britain and the USA, and in the eyes of Third Worlders
that,s commendable even if a nation is collapsing. (The walls of Africa,
it should be noted, are scribbled over with graffiti that is pro-Saddam
Hussein and pro-Osama bin Laden). Thirdly, Mugabe,s got charisma, a relentless
energy in his septuagenarian,s dainty frame, and he deploys rhetorical
powers with an eloquence rarely matched by any other leader in Africa,s
independent history. He possesses the perfume, of power, as Christopher
Hope describes it in his fine recent book about tyranny and Zimbabwe, Brothers
Under the Skin. Mugabe is the archetypal African Big Man.

- With great authority, certain British pundits claim Africa
is in a mess because its citizens have a sort of genetically implanted
admiration for the Big Men. Frankly, to me, this is like saying British
commuters adore train delays, because this is the way things are today.
The truth is that the majority of Africans deserve and wish for better
leaders, but like British train commuters, they are often powerless to
alter the status quo. It,s the upper middle classes " what we used
to call the WaBenzi in Kenya, on account of the Mercedes Benz cars they
drive " who like the Big Men. They,ve all got their snouts in the
trough.

- Kenya now has a true democracy " though still corrupt
and rather useless " following a unique velvet revolution, in which
millions of ordinary voters ended the reign of Daniel arap Moi, the ultimate
Big Man, in polls last December. Is it any surprise, therefore, that Kenya
is the single African nation to speak out forthrightly against Mugabe,
while calling for him to remain suspended from the Commonwealth?

- Lawrence Schlemmer, in a study for the Helen Suzman Foundation
in April 2002, discovered that only 25 per cent of black South Africans
approved of Mugabe,s white land seizures. In terms of Mbeki,s policy, 50
per cent either thought that he was correct to pursue his quiet diplomacy,
or that he should have supported Mugabe more, while 37 per cent wanted
a more critical policy. But the most interesting statistics show how the
views of African voters depend on their class and income. Schlemmer found
that the richer the black voters, the more likely they were to approve
of Mbeki,s soft-pedalling on Mugabe. Perhaps,, Schlemmer speculated, they
include many members of the insider elite, compromised by their interests.,

- We,ve been here before. Initially Idi Amin was hugely
popular among educated Ugandan blacks when he expelled 50,000 Ugandan Asians
in 1971. He was then treated to a standing ovation at a summit of the Organisation
for African Unity, the club of dictators that was abolished in favour of
a new, squeaky-clean African Union " which recently appointed Mugabe
as its envoy to oversee, among other things, good governance,.

- Breaking up big farms for smallholders spells economic
disaster; everybody knows that. But in Africa, the mystical issue of land
befuddles all rational thought. Land ...is central to African politics
and any politician who masquerades otherwise and dangles IMF statistics
on inflation to the electorate without promising land would lose hands
down,, wrote the commentator John Kamau in Kenya,s Daily Nation. In reality,
of course, the main beneficiaries of redistribution are the black top dogs.

- As patriots who occupied the same trench of struggle
with Zimbabwe when we, together, battled to end white minority rule in
our region, we will do what we can to enable Zimbabweans to enjoy the fruits
of their hard-won liberation,, Mbeki wrote in the Guardian last May. I
know exactly what he means. To return to my friend Mojo, what is to become
of South Africa? Mashabela promises: The Zimbabwe-style explosion in South
Africa over the land issue may be delayed ...but that it shall happen some
time in the future is beyond question.,

- Tanzania,s President, Benjamin Mkapa, demanded the lifting
of Western sanctions at the August summit of SADC " once formed by
the frontline states, to isolate apartheid Pretoria. I find it insulting
that there are powers and people who believe food shortages in the region
can only be averted when Africans become servants on white people,s land,
rather than when they work on their own land,, he thundered.

- His words remind me of what happened 35 years ago, when
Julius Nyerere, founder of Mkapa,s Revolutionary party, expropriated my
family,s farm on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. Like the robbed white Zimbabwean
farmers now wandering the earth, our lives were ruined for several years.
My parents pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, survived and even
prospered, as will the Zimbabweans. Our land, meanwhile, fell into ruin.
Nyerere,s men brought North Koreans and Soviets to visit the results of
my father,s hard work, holding it up as a fine example of socialist development.
They feasted on the livestock. The borehole broke down. Into a business
which my parents had once run out of a family bank overdraft the Swedes
poured a million dollars of aid, in a development, project that quickly
failed. Our former employees lost their jobs. Today our houses lie in ruins.
The pyrethrum and dairy have been turned over to marijuana production.
Most of the wildlife has been wiped out, the trees chopped down for charcoal.
Occasionally the Maasai drive their cattle across the eroded plains, but
in times of drought these proud people are forced to live on handouts of
Western food aid. This story was repeated across Tanzania, thanks to Nyerere,
who despite his disastrous attempts at self-reliance, is still revered
as Mwalimu, " the Teacher " by Africa,s champagne socialists.
Mwalimu, of course, died while being treated in a private London hospital,
not a Tanzanian one.
