Assassination In Venezuela
Said Beyond Coincidence
From Sam Usus
3-4-4

Jeff,
When I reviewed www.vheadline.com this morning, the following item caught my eye: "Out-of-control opposition radicals discovered by intelligence services in conspiracy plans to assassinate one or more of their own leaders" which contained this accusation: "...former National Assembly (AN) president Willian Lara says that out-of-control radicals in the loosely-formed Coordinadora Democratica (CD) coalition of opposition parties have been discovered in conspiracy plans to assassinate one or more of their own leaders. Intelligence reports delivered directly to President Hugo Chavez Frias show well-advanced plans by anti-government conspirators to assassinate several high-profile (though presumably politically dispensable) opposition personalities and then to put the blame on President Hugo Chavez Frias as the supposed author of the crime." http://vheadline.com/readnews.asp?id=16220
Then, checking in again this evening - after first noticing the "breaking news" item on BBC, the top item reads: "A confirmed reports says that opposition Accion Democratica (AD) regional leader Eva Carrizo (42) has been assassinated in violent clashes between anti-government rebels and National Guard (GN) troops on the Machiques-Colon highway near Maracaibo in western Zulia, 600 kilometers (373 miles) west of Caracas. ... allegedly as the result of a bullet fired by a National Guard (GN) unit ..." http://vheadline.com/readnews.asp?id=16229
This stretches 'coincidence' to the breaking point of sheer incredulity, and I think this sequence of events deserves your readership's attention.
