- My girlfriend and I had left Costco on 103 Ave and McDowell
in Avondale heading west turned south on 115th Ave and in the sky above
the overpass was A string of lights in the sky. My girlfriend and I were
amazed at the site! We continued south under the I-10 overpass and now
had a wonderful view of this. The lights were amber in color and two sets
of lights. We will call set one the set on the right. Set 2 will be on
the left.( set 1 )had six lights (set 2) has two, then, 3 then 4 5..6..78..
just like that! ( set1) had also gained 3 more. We passed buckeye rd continuing
south to our street and (set 2) where turning off one after another and
another. Keep in mind that this is the same set that just turned on. (set1)
was still going strong with 6 . We went home ran in for the camera drove
back out around the corner and they were all gone! This is what made me
go out and try to film something like that again!

- The Buzz was out that we saw something yesterday ,so
my girlfriend and I stopped by one of her friends house to take her also
to see the lights. We went to El Mirage Rd and Broadway its dark and little
traffic since Broadway Road is a dirt road out there. The wind was terrible
and our camera was just a Canon Elf so the shots didn't come out well but
you can see some amber lights in the sky just above the Estrella Mtns.
Question: If these are flares wouldn't they drift in such high winds?

- Well the Canon Elf didn't allow me to see what I wanted
and that was, are these lights moving? Remember it's the new moon, very
dark out. So I borrowed my Dad's Sony handycam with the night shot feature.
I go to the same location as on the 15th and see some lights 2 on the right
spaced out pretty close to each other, I am recording this! I watch 2 more
on the left show up spaced the same but with some distance between the
first 2 Then I see another that's 5, But the fifth one quickly disappears,
leaving 4 2 on left and two on right. The two on the right seem the go
behind the mountains then just leaving the 2 on the left. Well this is
kind of weird the one on the left of the last two disappears but the last
one( on right) starts glowing even brighter than before and looks as if
it spits another light in the air above were it was. So we are back to
2 lights in the sky. ( The Goodyear airport and Luke air force base) are
nearby and now I watch as a plane comes from east to west moving
slowly and I can see it's flashing FAA lights It fly's straight through
the center of the shot of the 2 remaining lights. It passes by the light
and the bottom light goes out leaving the top and last light I film for
5 more minutes and then like a candle it goes out.
