- Clark AB Philippines - Sighting Of An Orange Disk
-
- Dates: From 1973 to 1976 - 1984 to 1988
-
- I was stationed at Clark AB in the Philippines ( now
closed) from 1973 to 1976 and again from 1984 to 1988. During the first
period I mentioned, I worked in the Base Fuels Distribution Office and
one night between 1130 and 1200 we had an incident happen that was very
reminiscent of this article. We were responsible for refueling all aircraft
at Clark on a 24/7 operation. As such, we would send out a truck between
shifts and relieve those individuals that were refueling aircraft or receiving
fuel into bulk storage for refueling at a later date. One of our storage
points was known as the Hill Area, and it was about 10 miles from our main
location. We received fuel there via a pipeline from Subic Naval Base (
Olongapo City) .
-
- During one particular night in late 75 or early 76, we
sent a truck up to relieve the personnel who were receiving fuel at the
Hill Area and bring them back down so they could go off shift. The type
of truck we used for this purpose was a 2.5 ton general utility vehicle
with a canvas top over the cargo area. Anyway, as assistant shift leader,
I was dispatching trucks that night. When the truck arrived with the individuals
going off shift, they were all visibly shaken by something. I asked what
was wrong, and was told that they were followed about 1/2 way from the
Hill Area by a glowing orange ball about 3 feet in diameter. This ball
trailed the truck and would rise up above, then drop to just below the
top of the canvas so that all in the truck could see it. At the 1/2 way
point, it raised up above the canvas once again and disappeared.
-
- Now, you would think the story ended there but it didn't.
When I returned to Clark the second time, I changed jobs and was responsible
for training at the airlift wing stationed at Clark at the time. In each
unit we had other training people known as training managers that were
responsible for that squadron's training programs. Because of the nature
of the job, everyone who was a training manager had originally been in
another field. It happens that one of the squadron training managers and
I were talking one day and I found out that he had been a security policeman
also stationed at Clark during 1973 - 1976 . We started talking about
old times and he asked me if I had heard of the UFO encounter at Clark.
I thought that he was talking about the incident that I related above but
found out that it he was aware of that one, but was talking about another
incident that happened the same night. It seems that he was sitting on
the desk and one of the Security Policemen on the flight line called in
a report. He was in an area known as the "J " ramp which was
directly in front of the Clark AB control tower. His sighting involved
an orange disk directly over his position, approximately 75-100 feet in
diameter. According to the individual relating the story to me, the disk
sat there for a few seconds then shot straight up, disappearing almost
immediately. The individual relating the story said that since this was
a highly peculiar incident he then called the Security Police commander
who asked if he had made an entry on the police blotter ( a logbook of
incidents taking place on a shift) yet. He replied no, and the commander
said not to and to forget that the incident ever happened. I heard nothing
from any of our drivers myself that night because they were all occupied
refueling aircraft at the far end of the parking area.
-
- Over the years I have thought about this incident allot,
and I sure would like to talk to some other people who saw either craft.
I imagine that especially those individuals working in the control tower
or sitting at the ground control radar that night would have quite a story
to tell.
-
- I would like to ask that any service men or women who
were working at the Clark AB Philippines at the dates given in the story
who have information about this incident would they please contact me.
Not only would I like to know but the gentleman who is relating this story
would like to hear from you also.
-
- I would like to thank this person for telling us this
fascinating story.

- Camp Geiger, North Carolina 150 Marines Witness Strange
Object
-
- Date: December 1985
- Time: 5:00 a.m.
-
- Number of witnesses: 150
- Number of objects: 1
- Shape of objects: Ellipsoid or Disk
-
- Full Description of event/sighting: Five platoons of
young Marines were in formation in the chilly morning at Camp Geiger. We
were all facing east and answering muster and getting ready to march to
the chow hall, (which was about a mile away).
-
- From the south an object came in front of the five platoons.
It was ellipsoid and it was about the size of a thimble, if you stretched
your hand out in front of you face. As it raced along just above the tree
tops (that were about 500 yards away) it left a trail of "sparks"
that would dissipate quickly. In relation to the trees the object seemed
to be about a mile away from the trees.
-
- When the object was almost in front of my platoon, (we
were the 5th platoon to the extreme left of the five), it shot up at great
velocity at a 45% angle. From the point it shot up a sphere of luminous
gas, (or something) expanded to fill the entire eastern sky. All five platoons
let out a collective "WHOHHHH". I'll never forget that. The Platoon
Sgt. turned around and looked at it, and we all, "decided" (were
told to say), it was a satellite experiment.
-
- The ball of gas was orange, and definitely was a sphere,
because you could see the center was different from the edges. This thing
had volume. In the middle of the sphere, I made out a shape that I've now
come to recognize as a "key" from crop circle formations. There
was actually the darker brownish orange thing in the orange sphere, coming
from the top left edge and reaching down to the bottom right.
-
- Then I notice another sphere is coming out of the other
one. A green sphere is duplicated and is slowly moving to the left of the
original. This sphere is a pastel green and seems translucent and not as
strong as the other sphere. But it is identical other than color.
-
- We are marching to "Chow" at this time and
the ambient light from the morning is starting to effect the view of the
spheres. When you march in the Marines you are supposed to keep your head
and eyes to the front, but I got away with turning my head slightly and
looking at the objects as best I could as we marched. By the time we got
to the chow hall, the second sphere was right next to the other and the
filled the pre-dawn sky to the east. Everybody waiting to get into the
chow hall was talking about it.
-
- By the time we came out from chow, the spheres were not
remarkable in the daylight. Basically, they looked like clouds and they
had lost their shape. (Chem Spheres?)
-
- Four years later, I'm back in North Carolina at Camp
Lejeune, (about 10 miles north of Geiger), and I get to my office one day,
and everybody who lives off base and drives in was talking about a UFO
they saw. Now the last unit I was in was ANGLICO. This stands for Air Naval
Gun Liason Company. We were a special forces unit that supported other
military branches SF with Naval guns and air cover. So the guys that were
in ANGLICO that saw the UFO all could estimate size and speed very accurately.
-
- The men I worked with described the same thing I had
seen four years earlier. But these guys were "Forward Observers"
trained in identifying and estimating an aircraft and it's speed. They
all estimated that that the initial speed of the thing was somewhere in
the 1200-1400 mph range. The "shoot up" speed was estimated between
3000 and 5000 mph.
-
- Another guy said he left for work very early (4:00 a.m.),
and lived near some soy bean fields. As he drove through the high way there
was the faint glow of a full moon over the fields, He said he noticed a
"shadow" over the fields and the highway he was on and he looked
up. He told me he saw a large black disk shaped area that blocked out the
moon and the stars as it passed. He estimated this object to be about 800-1000
yards wide, and flew about 2000 yards off the "deck". (as we
called the ground).
-
- If anyone from either incident can support these sighting
please come forward. That was amazing to see, and it was amazing to have
the sighting duplicated four years later.
-
- There were also some guys who did a night time "Close
Air Support" drill at Yuma Marine Air Base in Arizona who told me
a great UFO Story. If any of you who actually experienced that sighting
are reading this, please relay your story.
-
- Thanks Brian,
-
- I hope this helps with the US Military Base UFO research.
-
- Thank you to the person for sending in this very interesting
report. I once again would like to request that other military folks or
private contractors contact me if they or they know of a UFO over one of
the military installations. Thank you, Brian.

- Lancaster City, Pennsylvania U.S.
-
- Date: Summer, 1998 or 1999
- Time: Mid afternoon
-
- Hey I read your article on Rense.com. I just wanted you
to know that I saw a similar object, though it was about four years ago.
I was on break at my job in my car and saw a cylinder type object floating
in the air. It seemed to be spinning very slowly but hardly moved at all.
I watched it for about half an hour. I thought it was a man on a parachute...but
it was really high and stayed stationary! It was a very clear day so maybe
it was a geo stationary satellite? never seen it since and never heard
anything similar till now! Thanks...
-
- Additional Information below:
-
- It took place at my job on my lunch break. I work in
Lancaster City, Pennsylvania U.S. The sighting took place in 1998 or 1999
in the summer during mid afternoon. That is as good as I can get it, sorry.
It seemed to be slowly rotating, like spinning a pencil on your table top,
but very slowly. Something like one revolution per minute or so. It also
seemed to stay in the same spot or moving too slowly to notice, but it
seemed to be moving in a southward direction.
-
- It was cylindrical in shape, like a long can. It appeared
to be white in color. It had to be big because it was so high up in the
sky. At least as high as a Jetliner. Texture and sound, it could not be
determined.
-
- No aircraft, other than commercial Jetliners doing normal
flights. It took place in or over Lancaster City. There is an airport in
Lancaster, but no where near the sighting. No military installations around
here. It was in the air for a while. I watched for at least 30 minutes.
I can't say I believe it was an alien space craft, but I can say that I
don't know what it was. I know it wasn't an airplane, helicopter, or a
hot air balloon. I thought at first it was a man coming down on a parachute
because of it's height and shape and its very slow movement. But I never
got close to the ground. 30 minutes and it hardly moved at all. It was
a very clear day though. Could it have been a satellite ? Hope this helped.
-
- Thank you to the witness for the report.

- Beaver, Pennsylvania - Oblong, Wingless, Disk-Like Craft
-
- Date: December 15, 2000
- Time: 6:30 p.m.
-
- My 12/15/00 nighttime sighting:
-
- A large, intensely, bright, bluish-white strobing light
flying north... Its speed seemed normal but it flew unusually low and
close to my house ... only 200 feet away from me... As the strobe flashed,
about once per second, it illuminated the craft's body... I could then,
see that this craft was oblong, wingless, disk-like and of a dull, dark,
brownish-gray color. There were also a few areas of very hazy, dimly lit,
multi-colored light, of red and yellow-green, around the right side of
the craft which, seemed like windows but with no apparent structure...
or frame work... (*Note -- This dimly lit, multi-colored illumination,
of red and yellow-green, around the side of the craft's body was something
that I later described, on the AlienViews list, as resembling the luminous,
multi-colors effect often seen on an oil slick)....The disk seemed to be
about 15 feet wide... no noise... no other lights... the disk looked very
black except for the small surface area being illuminated by its flashing
strobe...
-
- The strobe (the white light) was located at the tip of
a short, thin appendage.... (the appendage) was about three or four feet
in length (and attached) along the center portion of the disk's side...
the strobe light was always pointing towards the north...
-
- When the strobe (UFO) was at it closest (*the UFO was
then below my eye level and hovering about 3 feet off the ground, directly
behind my neighbor's garage) I could see this strobe's appendage wavering,
back and forth, a few feet CW then, CCW, every three seconds or so... This
slight wavering or gliding back and forth movement of the appendage sort
of reminded me of the subtle wavering of a compass needle... This disk
then, stopped and hovered (*Note -- I never saw this UFO flying upwards,
towards its second hovering location) ... about 250 to 300 feet above ground
and about 150 yards away...
-
- Thank you, Brian, for all of your good work in posting
these many excellent UFO reports to the web! :-)
-
- Sincerely,
-
- Thank you to the witness for the wonderful report and
drawing.

- Altus, Oklahoma Falling Object Changes Color
-
- Date: October 2001
- Time: Early morning
-
- Location of Sighting: 1 mile east of Hollis, Oklahoma
- Number of witnesses: 1
- Number of objects: 1
- Shape of objects: Like a bright Star.
-
- Full Description of event/sighting: I own a farm about
1300 acres, and one morning, very early, I was going to plow. On my way
to the field I had a flat, rather than change it in the dark I told myself
I would wait until evening and change it then. It was only about a mile
to my tractor so I started walking. Always fascinated with the stars I
watched the sky as I walked, suddenly I noticed what looked like two stars
tumbling slowly, not quite making a complete circle, when all of a sudden
they stopped and the star on the right took off to the left at an upward
(approx 30 degree angle) trajectory until it faded. The speed was fantastic
and when it did this its color changed to a bright blue with maybe a tinge
of violet. Amazed I just stared at the same spot hoping the other light
would move too. I actually stared at it for probably ten minutes before
I realized it was just a star. The sighting was very clear, but I'm sure
the object was a good three miles away at least. And the inclination was
approx. 30 degrees in the southern sky. The way this thing changed its
speed from hovering to taking off like a bullet was most amazing. It was
exactly like a bright blue shooting star when it left, except that it went
up.
-
- Thank you.
-
- Thank you to the witness for this interesting report.

- Brian,
-
- My name is (removed), I have some pictures that I would
like you to look at. I have been taking pictures of the sky because of
the contrail activity and weird cloud formations. I have taken well over
100 pictures of the sky on my way to work. I recently got a digital camera
and as you know it gives you an opportunity to shoot a ton of pictures
with the ability to download them on your computer for free. I was going
over a set I took a few weeks back I came across something on one of the
photo's. I did not see it with the naked eye because most of the time when
I am taking pictures I just have the Camera pointed up in the sky and point
it up in the air and snap away. Before you say bird or speck of dirt on
camera look really close especially when I blew it up there is a field
around it. None of the other 100 plus photo's have anything like this in
any of them... I don't know what do you think.... Feel free to call or
email me..
-
- Thank you to the person for sending along these pictures.

- Between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye, U.K.
-
- Date: July 3, 2004
- Time: Just past midnight.
-
- Friday, 03-07-2004. It was just past midnight. I was
in a village between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye. In England, U.K very close
to the welsh border. I noticed a light that wasn't hovering (like a helicopter)
or moving (like a plane). So I got my binoculars and I couldn't believe
my eye's so I woke my mum up. We both observed the strange 'lights' for
48 minutes. To the naked eye it was just a strange light that we could
see half way between the horizon and the stars. But through the binoculars
we could see many moving light's. They moved into different shapes and
dimmed and brightened. I observed aircraft possibly observing the UFO.
Did anyone else see anything?
-
- Thank you to the witness for their report.

- Redcliff, Alberta Triangle
-
- Date: July 8, 2004
- Time: Early morning, probably around oneish.
-
- Location of Sighting: Farm east of Medicine Hat.
- Number of witnesses: 2
- Number of objects: 1
- Shape of objects: Triangular.
-
- Full Description of event/sighting: My brother and I
were sitting out on the back deck of my dad's old farmhouse. He recently
passed away and we were at the farm cleaning the rest of his old stuff
out so it could be auctioned off. We were up late discussing what we wanted
to keep as heirlooms seeing dad left everything to us, and we needed a
break, so we gathered up a couple cans of iced tea dad loved to drink and
sat down on a pair of lawn chairs out back. I stared blankly overtop the
tree line facing north. A white beam of light extending downwards into
the trees caught my eye. I didn\'t see a source. I blinked a couple times
and asked my brother to turn and see the light as well. He did. After about
six or seven seconds, the beam seemed to angle and the nose of a blackish
(or dark, at least) triangular thing....that's the only way to describe
it....became visible.
-
- Then a thin row of pale lights outlined the bottom of
the craft. It seemed to rotate once, so another point was facing our direction
and took off in a blink of an eye over top of us and the house. We raced
to the front yard to see if we could still see it, but it was gone. It
made little to no noise at all except for piercing the air. It left a misty
trail, but it disappeared barely after it came into focus. My brother,
who has insisted we are "not alone" has had four encounters now....this
is the first time I've ever believed him. This is the first time I've ever
imagined something like this was possible. It actually drove us apart,
and there was a time where we hadn't spoken for over a year. Feel free
to contact my email address.

- Vancouver, B.C. - Orb Of A Soft Bright Orangey Yellow
Colour
-
- Date: July 12, 2004
- Time: 1:55 a.m.
-
- I was woken by the dog barking, so I got up to take a
look around the yard to see if there was a prowler. I was getting back
into bed when I noticed a very bright light in the sky. Since I wear glasses
and would not ordinarily be able to see anything in the sky with them removed,
I wondered at what I was seeing.
-
- I put on glasses and looked at the sky. I saw a round
orb of a soft bright orangey yellow colour, not unlike the colour of the
moon sometimes. It was moving between my home and the north shore mountains,
in an east to west direction. There was no sound and there were no lights
visible at the back when it moved farther west and I could see the back
of it. It stayed round moving towards the ocean. The light never fluctuated
it just stayed a glowing colour. This object was way larger than an airplane,
but did not appear huge. It was moving steadily and passed out of sight
within a minute.

- Thank you to the witness for their report.

- Prince George, B.C. Bright Light
-
- Date: July 12, 2004
- Time: 11:15 p.m.
-
- Hello Brian:
-
- Just wanted to let you know that once again the electronics
in our home have been acting up for the last couple days and guess what?
Yes, we saw yet another unexplained light traveling across the night sky.
It was the same as the other white light we told you about a couple of
months ago. Twice the size of our largest visible star, traveling North
East, and traveled without sound. Very bright, no red or blue lights with
it (not aircraft); we watched it until it just disappeared. We didn't lose
it from view because of it moving so far away, it just simply was gone.
Watched it for approximately 3-4 min. Time was 11:15 p.m.
-
- It flew from the west heading northeast. It also traveled
in a somewhat straight line, bit of an arch to it. The light was not as
high as a satellite. Yes, it stayed the same intensity throughout the time
we watched it, and it was very bright. It was just a huge ball of white
light. The weather conditions were clear, with a few scattered clouds.
Lots of stars out. We couldn't see the moon though, it hadn't come out
yet.
-
- Thank you to the witness for the report.

- West Central Minnesota V Shaped/Colored Objects
-
- Date: July 14, 2004
- Time: Intervals from 3:00 a.m. CST to 5:00 a.m. CST
-
- It was a mostly clear sky with a profound sliver moon
with bright Venus in the easterly sky. We witnessed Orb like stars of multiple
colors. They were aligning from multiple directions to V shaped format
then "shooting" north. There was a horrendous humming in the
top of my head I don,t think it is audible however, more electrical. Static.
Did the best I could for pictures but does not do the event justice. I
am going to get a night camcorder stills do not do moving phenomena justice.
These are crops from multiple stills HP photosmart 320. "No other
effects." See if someone can clean them up more to show the multiple
orbs formatting.
-
- Thank you to the witness for this report and the excellent
pictures.
