- UFO - Three Stories Of Interest

- My interest in this subject began at a family gathering
in the early 1960s when my brother, who served in a special part of the
armed forces, revealed that the military was fully aware of the existence
of UFOs. My brother, now deceased, had worked in what he described as "missile
guidance and control." At least that is how I remember it. Before
joining the military he did not believe in UFOs.

- He told us that, as part of the schooling, he and 30
others received special training in reading radar and being able to identify
UFOs from other aircraft. He said the military did not want an accidental
nuclear exchange as a result of confusing UFOs with possible missile strikes
from the People's Republic of China or the Soviet Union. The army, he
said, not only revealed UFO existence but also trained him and the others
of his crew in how recognize their peculiar movements and characteristics
on radar. The military, he told us, revealed nothing further other than
that they were just here.

- In 1978 I hired a 70-year-old (approx.) woman named
Vivian, as my secretary. I was director of an organization that planned
and created activities for older Americans. Vivian told me when she was
a young woman in her early 20s (around 1928) and living in the state of
Wyoming that she used to get up early in the morning 2 or 3 times a week
and play golf. She recounted one very early summer morning just after 4:30
a.m. that she walked about a quarter of a mile to the golf course. When
she reached the top of a small hill overlooking the playing area, she said
she was stunned to see a greenish glowing sphere-like object hovering (she
said "setting) about 10 feet off the ground. She told me she was so
shocked that had she could not move. She described it as being approximately
50 feet in diameter with oval shaped windows around the top third area.

- She said she knew instinctively it was not from our world.
After nearly 10 minutes of just staring at this most unusual sight she
said the object rose slowly from its position and began making a faint
humming noise. Then, quite suddenly, it just streaked away and was gone
with in a few seconds. She told no one about this for over 25 years for
fear people would think she was crazy. I believed Vivian's story because
she always told me the truth. If she did not like how I was running the
Agency she would tell me about it and not always pleasantly. She was a
no-nonsense person who believed neither in God, nor honest politicians.

- For a few months in 1980 I worked at a car rental agency.
One of my duties was to go to the Seattle International airport and pick
up airline flight crew and bring them back for a car rental. Every time
I picked up a pilot I would always find some way of asking them if they
had ever seen a UFO.

- Every pilot but two replied no. I felt some were even
irritated with the question but most were good sports and gave me their
opinion (usually negative) on the subject. A few told me while they did
not believe in them, other airline pilot friends did report seeing them
on occasion. One evening I picked up an airline pilot captain whose name
was Frank. When I asked Frank if he had ever seen anything strange like
a UFO, he was very silent for a few minutes. I thought maybe he was insulted
by the question. I was worried he would tell my boss.

- However, to my surprise he opened up and told a very
interesting story.

- "During the Carter administration, I was flying
out of Washington DC with not only the regulars (passengers), but the Secretary
of Transportation, and his staff as well. We were about 20 miles out when
three green globes or spheres appeared in front of my plane." He said
they appeared to be about 50 feet or better in diameter and were flying
formation. "We not only had visual, but they were being tracked from
ground radar. " He told me because these objects were in front of
the plane none of the passengers were aware of what was going on. "I
called the Secretary of transportation to my cockpit. I wanted a witness
and I thought he would want to know. I thought this would be the biggest
news story of the century. I asked him if they might have been experimental
craft. He replied flatly; "No, he went on to say they were globe
shaped and had oval windows or what appeared to be windows around the top
third of the structures. "Not one of my flight crew nor did the secretary
of transportation think they were other than what they appeared to be?shy;
some kind of space craft from another world.

- I found it remarkable that the type of craft described
by both Vivian and the Airline pilot were identical even thought the two
events took place more then 50 years apart.

- Fort Bragg, North Carolina Brilliant Oval Shaped Object

- After reading some of the former military personnel sightings
on rense.com, I'd thought I'd add my two cents. Although I was never in
the military, my father was Regular Army and retired in 1985 after around
30 years of service.

- When I was a child in the late 70's we lived at Fort
Bragg, North Carolina. Actually, we lived in the small town next to it
called Fayetteville in military housing. In the summer of 1976, I saw something
strange that I'll never forget. I walked next door to a friend's house
and rang the doorbell. He shortly opened the door and said he'd be right
out and ran back into the house leaving the door open, but the screen door
closed. I then turned around to see an oval shaped object that was an absolutely
brilliant pure white. I couldn't see windows or any other features on this
UFO because its entire elliptical face was shining brightly. It was like
pure light, but the object had a distinct outline.

- It was a calm sunny day with nothing but blue sky all
around. The UFO must have been located in the northwest because the sun
was to the right of me and behind a ways, so I was in standing in shadows.
I stood there in shock for a few seconds as the thing moved very slowly
and very solidly (in other words it didn't bob around in the air) from
the left to the right, or north easterly direction. It was probably about
1000 feet or so off the ground and at 40 degrees elevation angle. It made
no sound whatsoever.

- After I gathered my composure I started yelling to my
friend to hurry up and come outside. He came back to the front door and
I saw him sit on the floor and start to put on his sneakers just inside
the screen door. I watched the object for a few more seconds and then it
simply blinked out as if someone turned off a light. A second later my
friend came outside to join me. I suddenly felt afraid not knowing where
the thing had gone and what would happen next, so I entered his house and
got him to follow me then told him what I saw. We spent the next several
minutes looking out of windows for it and that's all I can remember.

- I had forgotten all about this sighting until about 5
years later. I was living in Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas when I read an
article that startled me. It was an interview with a man who lived in North
Carolina who said that he and an elderly couple had seen the oval UFO's
that I had seen. Furthermore, this man stated that he had been told by
unnamed government sources that there was a secret or hidden base somewhere
in the area which he believed they were coming from. Incidentally, Pope
Air Force Base was right next to Fort Bragg.

- I've lived in Phoenix, Arizona for the past 9 years.
I did not see the Phoenix lights that made the national news a few years
back, nor have I seen some of the things that people have captured on video,
though I'd really like to. However, a few years ago I did see a strange
V-shaped craft here at sunset. It was totally black, very big, and had
no lighting at all. I was driving directly east straight toward it and
estimated it to be around a mile or so up. I also saw a commercial airplane,
silver in color, higher, further distant, and to the left or north of this
V-shaped craft. The commercial plane, probably a 737 or airbus, had its
landing lights on as it approached Sky Harbor airport.
- At first I thought this big black object heading toward
me was just a flying wing or something similar that didn't have its lights
on, but as it banked to eventually head directly south, I saw it was a
V-shaped craft that was hollow in the middle, but also seemed to have the
bottom part, or the tips of its wings connected. In other words, a flying
triangle. Really strange.

- Anyway, I don't know what the truth behind the UFO mystery
is, but there can be no doubt that strange things have been seen flying
in the skies everywhere in the world by credible witnesses for many years
that defy identification, and therefore, explanation.

- Denver, Colorado Triangular Object And More

- Message: All shorts of stuff the last few months. Just
before Halloween last fall, was called out to see a triangular object,
that was not the same length on all sides. It was longer on two sides,
and very long on the bottoms. The angles were all rounded. It flew pretty
low, was silent, and when it was in the light clouds above my head, it
glowed in bluish while light, short of like the moon does. It was going
in a more or less circular path. When I say I got called out, it means
I was intended to see it. It kept on for a long time and every time I moved
to a different location it saw where I moved and changed its course to
fly directly over me. Lately in the last month I have seen a large glowing
ball, silver colored in the western sun, and also the long rod, in the
west, that was shining. I don't know if it was reflecting the sun as it
was setting or was lit.

- I also saw a formation of dark triangles, though at first
I thought it was geese, but on closer look, not birds. There were 7 of
them and they just suddenly vanished. I have seen red lights at the edge
of Venus, but have come to the conclusion that what we think is Venus is
not, as 2 nights ago around 4 am, I went outside to look at Venus intentionally,
and it slowly faded and went out before my eyes. I went in, had a snack
and went back out. I watched it slowly reappear, get very bright and disappear
again. I do live between 3 airports, and planes taking off will show a
single bright light until they change position and I observe the flashing
lights. I am an avid star watcher, and notice several months ago that when
Venus is in west sky it is so bright that it looks like the airplane scene
described above. Me and my neighbors came to the conclusion is not Venus.
In the early morning in the East sky the same is true.

- I think that many of the stars are not stars at all,
but stars ships. Stars did not twinkle this much years ago, nor would a
star change color while you watch it. One night recently, I saw 4 starships
blink out. One night there was a star ship in the bowl of the big dipper.
And recently, on clear nights I have noticed many totally new stars I have
never seen. They also super twinkle and change colors and move sometimes.
On the evening of June 20 around 10:30 pm my visiting 5 year old granddaughter
saw something thru the window and was jumping up and down, so we went outside
in our jammies and watched the stars. She did not find what she saw out
the window, but we were treated to quite a show anyway as many of the "stars"
were doing quite a dance in the sky and we again saw some that I had never
seen particularly looking south. These 2 little girls had a wonderful time
watching. It was all very obvious to them and they are still talking their
little heads off about it.I have seen several other strange lights that
don't match the planes I normally see. I have also seen a V shape object
with 5 lights in the V that was silent. Folks, all these increased sightings
are because we are about to have a brilliant wonderful "first contact"
and I know of what I speak! Get ready!!

- I would like to just say that in 1993 I was driving on
a busy freeway ( interstate 10) in Los Angeles, California when ( being
in rush hour traffic) the far left lane and at a complete stop, I heard
out of no where..." Look Up" ! I thought it was very strange
and so I rolled down my window and stuck my head out of my window and looked
just above me, and to my surprise, there was this extremely large object
hovering above me, maybe about 20 feet above my car and I looked around
at all the cars next to me, but no one even noticed this object that to
me seemed clearly visible.

- At the time of the sitting, I felt really strange...like
numb all over and really feeling like I needed to sleep. It still is so
vivid to me even all of these years later, I remember seeing these huge
yellow lights (maybe ten or so) and they were so bright...I wasn't able
to see the sky in-between these lights, it was completely black , so I
knew this was not an airplane and it was gone in seconds... it was just
hovering above me and didn't make a sound.

- I drove home that evening feeling like something had
happened to me ( not in a bad way) but I just knew!

- I really felt that this craft was there to see me, and
only me.

- Retired U.S. Air Force Security Serviceman Sees Objects.

- Hi. My name is (removed). I'm 63 years old and retired
after 30 years in the newspaper business and four years in the U.S. Air
Force Security Service (intelligence). Just thought I'd give you my credentials
so you don't think I'm a kook.

- Anyway, I've seen a few UFOs in my life, and most are
types I've seen described elsewhere. But back in the 1990s -- it was the
year Bob Dole was running for president (HBCC UFO Research Note: A quick
check on the internet reveled that Bob Dole was running for president in
1996) -- I was a volunteer parent for my younger son's marching band. We
were in Fresno, CA, for a marching band contest.

- While the band was getting ready, I looked up and saw
what looked like a bunch of black balloons that someone had released.
-
- I went back to helping the band prepare, and then glanced
up a few minutes later, expecting that the balloons would have gotten farther
away from us and from each other. Instead, they were no farther away from
us, but they were getting closer to each other.

- I alerted others to this, and many in the band and among
the other parents all looked up, shrugged and went back to what they were
doing.

- These black objects kept getting closer and closer together,
moving very slowly. It took about an hour before they came together and
coalesced. I kept pointing this out to everyone, but no one was impressed.
One young band member told me it was probably helicopters.

- Finally, they coalesced into a large, black mass, then
flew away at about the speed of a propeller-driven craft, but made no noise.

- I have never heard or read of this type of phenomenon
anywhere else.

- Granite Bay, California Hovering Saucer

- Time: 8:00 p.m.

- Full Description of event/sighting: On April 24th about
8 o'clock I was standing on my front porch after returning from dinner
when I saw a bright light hovering in the sky above the ridge line to the
east. For some reason I was curious and got in my truck and drove up the
road to where the light was coming from. As I approached a turn in the
road I noticed A metallic translucent saucer hovering over the eastern
downward slope about 35 to 50 feet above the ground. It was making no noise,
and for several minutes it remained motionless. It's size appeared to be
about 30 feet in length. I observed the saucer and it's surface I now
noticed was completely smooth, mirror like and glowing only slightly now.
After several minutes The saucer began to move toward the road and my truck.

- At this time I became distracted with my truck and began
to feel afraid. When I looked up the saucer was almost directly overhead,
it also appeared to have descended to about 25 feet above me. Then I felt
disoriented for what seemed to be only a moment. the saucer moved back
to its original location hovering over the downward slope of the hill.
As I can only describe it as, I felt like I was coming to, when my truck
shut engine died. I fumbled with the ignition trying to get my truck to
start. Then oddly I saw a black sedan and a black suburban across the street
with their running lights on not their headlights. Before the saucer moved
over my car they were not parked across the street and it seemed that they
were observing me and the saucer. Finally, the engine started and I left
as quickly as I could. To me it felt like only 15 to 20 minutes had passed,
but when I returned home the time was 10:45. I had left a 8:00 I lost 2
hours and 45 minutes.

a nice conversation with the person).

- Anyway, when I saw the post by the retired USAF serviceman
describing a black balloon-like orb, it brought to mind a similar sighting
I had here in Alexandria a little over a month ago.
-
- It was about 6:45 p.m. and overcast on a day in late
June. I had driven to the post office and was cutting through a parking
lot by a hobby shop called Fads and Frames. I was busy tuning in the "Glenn
Beck Program" when I happened to look up and saw this black balloon,
or what appeared to be a black balloon. What struck me as odd was that
this "balloon" would slowly move around but never seemed to rise
higher in the air. Then it would move up higher. There was no visible string
or tether. Then it began moving further away. I remained in the car listening
to the radio and watching this thing and wondering if it was a spy balloon
or something. I did take a picture (which I have not developed). At one
point I looked away and it was gone. It was very eerie. It didn't act like
a normal wayward balloon caught on an evening breeze (there was a slight
breeze as I recall). In fact, about a week ago I was driving past the same
area where I saw this and commented to my friend about the object. My friend
didn't seem interested in pursuing it further.

- Time: Approx: 2:00 p.m.

- Yesterday, Aug. 6, in my office, about 2:00 in the afternoon
I walked over to a window to check out what kind of day it was going to
be. Being Friday it was nice to see hardly any wind, a bright blue sky
with not a single cloud. Almost immediately I noticed something in the
sky. It was coming in from the north east and moving very slowly to the
south, no lights, just a single bright white sphere quite high up but very
distinguishable. I wanted to get outside to the parking lot to get a better
look as the window was giving me a limited view. But then I thought by
the time I get out there it will be gone so I just decided to watch it
until it went out of view over our building. I thought "wow"
that was kewl as my eyes back tracked the path it took. As soon as my eyes
reached the spot in the sky where I first noticed it, another one appeared
at the same spot and took the exact path as the previous one did until
it too left my view over the top of our building.

- Now I'm getting excited as you can well imagine. I thought,
well maybe its time to go outside for a smoke as I took one last scan
of the little bit of sky I could see from the window. Right at that moment,
from the opposite direction, appeared a black sphere travelling at a terrific
rate of speed, from over our building headed northeast. It lasted maybe
2 or 3 seconds and it was gone. That was something I had never seen before
and it happened so fast I started to second guess myself, did I really
see it? But I know I did. By this time, my nose is almost pressed against
the window trying to get as much of sky possible in my line of sight (one
of those long narrow windows) and again, from the west this time, a white
sphere moving a little faster than the first two did. But this time as
soon as it got right in the centre of my line of vision it just started
zig zaggin, up and down, sideways at extreme right angles for a few seconds,
then leveled off into a smooth straight line again for a bit, then repeated
the same sequence of strange movements, then again leveling off to a smooth
line disappearing into the east. Well, now I had to go outside, besides
I think my co-workers were beginning to wonder why I was spending so much
time with my head against the window.

- Now outside, I'm leaning against the building with a
terrific view. I'm thinking now I probably won't see anything. And it began
to look like I wasn't going to see anything as about 10 minutes past by.
This next part is a bit hard to explain. You know how when your looking
at a large area and your eyes scanning back and forth? Well, that's what
I was doing, so you pretty well know what is up there at every given couple
of seconds, especially if its noticeable. My eyes were scanning the sky
back and forth, from the time I started at a particular point, where there
was nothing, to the time it took to look at the rest of the sky and return
to that point was maybe two seconds. But now not quite directly above me,
slightly to the west as if it just appeared out of nowhere, sitting in
the sky motionless, was a large pure white solid sphere. I say large because
not that it was actually larger than others I have seen, but alot closer
to me and not as high as they generally are. I was in total
- amazement and my eyes glued to this object as I noticed
just above it another one appear but very high up, I could actually see
it come into sight, either it materialized or it simply just came down
from the higher atmosphere, I don't know. It was just a dot, but also white,
and it remained stationary at a much higher altitude as the larger object
started to move slowly to the northeast. It must of taken 5 or 6 minutes
for it to cross the sky and then it just stopped motionless. As the larger
one crossed the sky, I kept looking over at the second one that was much
higher up and it just sat in the same location, never moving, as if it
was keeping watch or something, who knows. This was so amazing, I could
keep going on, but it all ended about five minutes later after both of
them remaining motionless, the larger one just disappeared while I was
looking at it, I looked back over at the one that was higher and it was
already gone.

- Auburn, CA Three Orbs

- Time: Approx: 6:55 p.m.

- I would like to mention that yesterday evening at approximately
6:55 p.m. local time I witnessed three orbs of light coming out of the
setting sun. I was going for my evening walk down (removed) here in Auburn,
CA when, I saw the first of the three orbs coming out of the setting sun.
I quickly got out my binoculars which I carry with me and was able to track
and view the last of the three orbs. It was translucent yet very white
and bright. It was constantly changing shape, going from circular to a
dodecahedron shape with star or pointed like protrusions coming out of
the circumference and then back to circular. All three orbs passed over
me at great speed. They looked like about 15,000 feet in altitude and after
passing over me they disappeared. I believe that these three orbs are portents
to more serious sunspot activity within the next two to three weeks. (
Two nights past I witnessed one very bright orb appearing in the eastern
sky UNDER the cloud layer. It made a 90 degree turn to it's left in an
instant then traveled for approximately an inch at my arm's length and
disappeared rapidly.)
