Charley - We Will Leave
No Victims Behind

Hello America,

The slogan NO VICTIM WILL BE LEFT BEHIND represents the desire and goal of our small group of retired Vets. Because we survived the destruction ourselves, we will not allow the other victims of Hurricane Charley to be forgotten, and this especially includes the hundreds who have already died. We will continue to expose the truth of what REALLY happened in the wake of Hurricane Charley.

But there are urgent needs our fellow neighbors have right now... today. Water is OK for those who don't have to endure 95 degree days and 90% humidity, but products like Gatorade that contain essential salts and other minerals are badly needed here. Dehydration and heat exhaustion are our worst enemy right now.

We have had 2 of our electric generators stolen since Saturday evening (this was on top of the 5 new units that somehow burned up and stopped working). This proves how desperate other victims of Charley have become. We only have 4 working generator units right now and we know of the need for at least 20 at the moment right in our own small development.

There is little to no National Guard presence other than a passing Humvee every once and awhile. Since the Military Police National Guard units of Florida are in Kuwait and Iraq, few have said anything about how much they are needed here right now. Since when is the National Guard too occupied in a foreign nation to help those in their own state? GOVERNOR JEB BUSH NEEDS TO BE IMPEACHED for allowing our own Florida Guard units and fellow neighbors to be sitting in the Middle East. Field Artillery FNG units are directing traffic (if you can call it that) and providing security (the biggest joke Tallahassee has ever dared to pull) with absolutely NO training for either necessity. The local Sheriff's departments are stretched to the limits, especially in Desoto and Charlotte Counties.

It's amazing how anyone can expect inexperienced and untrained National Guard soldiers to direct traffic when they have no idea how to do so and have never been even remotely trained in this. We need our Army MP units from the Florida National Guard back home NOW where they belong.

Most people cannot get to the distribution centers for food or water, so it's necessary that we go to them. Please remember that this area of Florida is a retirement area where the elderly either no longer drive or cannot drive any longer. Many have no relatives or children to check up on them, so we and so many others here are doing our best to find those who have no way to receive help. I can tell you that for every elderly homebound victim we find, there are hundreds more who we have not been able to reach. It's an impossible goal unless Floridian's who are able begin distributing all the stockpiled supplies at the distribution centers to each and every neighbor pitch in. The "official" help is mostly hype. All of us feel that we have been abandoned by Washington City and the City of Tallahassee. But on TV it looks as if the truth were just the opposite. What lies.

We now have a PayPal link for those who would like to help us distribute whatever is needed to other Charley victims. We'll purchase the essentials and distribute them to our fellow victims and neighbors:

There is also a public forum at the World Vision Portal for "missing" and confirmed dead relatives as well as updates from eye-witness sources. This is an essential tool to document what is actually going on here:

On another note, many horses and cows had to be shot by Deputies because of serious injuries in Desoto County. While this is of little importance compared to the human lives lost within the past 11 days, it illustrates the desperate situation we are all still in.

I can't help but see how all that Forestry Department heavy equipment was rushed to Sanibel and Captiva islands while the majority of the older and less influential neighborhoods have been forgotten. Just because someone is elderly and lived in a mobile home doesn't make them any less important. Have "the powers that be" forgotten that all those who are poor and elderly are someone's mother or father, or a grandmother or grandfather? Apparently they have.

A Port Charlotte man was arrested for shooting out the tires of a car that was looting his neighbors and tried to run him over. Even more ironic is that he was the one who called the police to report it! It's obvious enough that if we don't protect ourselves, we might as well just pile up whatever possessions we have left on the curb for all the thieves and immoral trash roaming the neighborhoods day and night. They even rob us by boat in the canals between those houses still standing.

Before it was removed by a State Trooper, the Kings Road exit off I-75 southbound had a sign erected by local residents. It said, "Camp Charlotte - Sightseers Go Home". Of course, this didn't look good for the cameras following the JEB BUSH motorcade, so it was promptly removed before any rogue media reporter photographed it. Staged media tours do not include home-made signs erected by hurricane victims.

I still can't get over the strength of all my neighbors. None of them will stop until there is no victim left behind. This is an amazing testimonial to the human spirit no-one can deny or take away. This is why we will not stop until the truth about all those killed and missing is revealed by whatever means we must use. We are ALL eye witnesses to the bodies we have seen. Those pictures will never be erased from our minds no matter who tries to tell us we didn't see what we saw. Those are the facts and they will remain the truth regardless of what the mainstream media is saying.
