died after a steam leak at a Japanese nuclear plant Monday, police said.

- They were among about 10 people reported to have been
taken to hospital after the accident in Fukui prefecture, 200 miles northwest
of Tokyo.

- Local authorities said there were no leaks of radiation
outside the facility, which houses turbines for a reactor at the Mihama
nuclear plant.
