- As you know I have been concerned about rabies for some
time.

- I believe that the virus is due to mutate and if we take
the Morocco case of a 3 day period from bite to death, it might indicate
rabies is changing.

- In looking at the date, I came upon the CDC 2001 map
of US rabies cases. As usual, the CDC is years behind. FYI take a look
at the numbers in the Northeast. Amazing.

- On a upbeat note, New York State is dispensing rabies
vaccine pellets by air drop and some at ground level. The area of vaccination
is on Long Island, Nassau County.

- I wonder when I will be contacted and given the rabies
bait pellets?

Just look at the cases in the northeast back in 2001, amazing.
