Just A Word?

How much more are you going to accept from this guy?

About 28 minutes into last night's Presidential debate a word was used very authoritatively. That word was "facile," and was uttered without a stutter from our court appointed President in answer to a question regarding our Armed Forces. The President said our military, "...must be lighter and quicker... and more ~facile~..." He made an affected pumping motion with his arm as he said this...

...facile...
SYLLABICATION: fac·ile
ADJECTIVE:

1. Done or achieved with little effort or difficulty; easy. See synonyms at easy.
2. Working, acting, or speaking with effortless ease and fluency.
3. Arrived at without due care, effort, or examination; superficial: proposed a facile solution to a complex problem.
4. Readily manifested, together with an aura of insincerity and lack of depth: a facile slogan devised by politicians.
5. Archaic Pleasingly mild, as in disposition or manner.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the President of the most powerful nation on the Earth to be smart enough not to publicly call for a third rate military in these trying and very threatening times. I don't think it's unreasonable that he be conversant with two syllable words. I don't think it's unreasonable that he be expected to use most of those words, properly, most of the time. And finally, I don't think it's unreasonable to be unsettled by a President who, "...don't do nuance..."?

Impeach now with extreme prejudice, and try for War Crimes. Four more years? Four more ~weeks~ is too long...
