- Consider Israel a weather vane for invasion. It's sort
of a perpetual Rube Goldberg Machine: Sharon barks orders at the Strausscons
and the Strausscons tell their cardboard cut-out of a president what to
do. Bush admitted some time ago that the "minds" of his administration
are "borrowed" from the American Enterprise Institute, who rent
office space to and share a pro-Israel (or Likudite) ideology with Project
for the New American Century, the folks who brought us the Iraq invasion.
So with the AEI-PNAC ball in motion we get stories about Iran's nukes slamming
(almost daily now) on the front pages of the New York Times and the Washington
Post, et al, completely obliterating the IAEA (International Atomic Energy
Agency) finding that Iran is not working on nukes.
-
- Bush's red phone to Sharon's ear is on fire.
-
- Now this: "The IDF believes that Iran is running
a secret nuclear weapons program in parallel to the one it had agreed this
week to temporarily suspend," reports the Strausscon dominated Jerusalem
Post. "'Without a more determined stance by the West against Iran,
they will reach a point of no return within six months,' said a senior
officer. From then it would take another 18 to 24 months to produce a nuclear
bomb, they added."
-
- So there's our window. Six months. In the meantime, get
ready for a whole lot of lies-same caliber of lies used in the lead-up
to the Iraqi invasion.
-
- "'The Iranians have a "declared" secret
program which they have agreed to temporarily suspend,' said one senior
Israeli officer. 'But they also have a "secret" secret program.
The agreement with the Europeans is not touching this program. Furthermore,
it is our understanding that the suspension is only temporary and partial.'
The military sources declined to give details about their knowledge of
Iran's parallel program."
-
- Our fearless leader chimed in on cue: "It is very
important for the Iran government to hear that we are concerned about their
desires and we're concerned about reports that show that before a certain
international meeting, they're willing to speed up the processing of materials
that could lead to a nuclear weapon. This is a very serious matter. The
world knows it's a serious matter and we're working together to solve this
matter."
-
- Naturally, the Pentagon, rife with Strausscons, is ahead
of the curve. "With a deadline of tomorrow for Iran to begin an agreed
freeze on enriching uranium, which can be used to produce nuclear weapons,
sources have disclosed that the latest Pentagon gaming model for 'neutralizing'
Iran's nuclear threat involves strikes in support of regime change,"
notes the Guardian. "Pentagon hawks have begun discussing military
action against Iran to neutralize its nuclear weapons threat, including
possible strikes on leadership, political and security targets."
-
- Plus: "Despite America's attempt to turn up the
heat on Iran, analysts remain deeply uncertain whether the increasingly
bellicose noises which are coming from Bush administration figures represent
a crude form of 'megaphone' diplomacy designed to scare Iran into sticking
to its side of the bargain, or evidence that Washington is leaning towards
a new military adventure."
-
- Here we have "analysts" with amnesia-so anxious
were the Strausscons to kill Iraqis, they invented all manner of nonsense:
aluminum tubes, yellow cake uranium, Atta in Prague, Osama and Saddam dancing
the fandango, etc. Is it possible when this nonsense is repeated and "megaphoned"
in Syria's direction, these same "analysts" will suffer from
forgetfulness? Count on it.
-
- Fool me once, said Bush.
-
- Forget about the IAEA findings. It's all about uranium
hexafluoride gas, even though this stuff is not explicitly barred. It's
"bad faith," and "bad faith" leads to having your water
purification plants and electrical grids bombed.
-
- Iran has six months.
-
- Ariel Sharon-through the IDF-just said so.
