- The Turkish people living near the Injerlik military
base in southern Turkey have been seriously frightened by a report that
the U.S. has been storing 90 atomic bombs in the base, the Egyptian Middle
East News Agency (MENA) reported on Saturday.

- A large number of people, the owners of industries, and
trade centers have written a letter to the local governor demanding the
need to find about the truth of such a report.

- However, the governor has said that currently there are
no official talks between Turkey and the U.S. about the authenticity of
such a report.
