have received the sex drug Viagra free, a New York report says.

past five years 198 serious sex offenders in the state received the erectile-dysfunction
drug after their convictions.

York senator, who has called for legislation to block the prescriptions.

Viagra is like giving convicted murderers an assault rifle when they get
out of jail.

- Government officials said the blunder stemmed from a
directive seven years ago that eligible men should be given Viagra. It
omitted to exclude convicted sex offenders.
