- UFO Sighting While Aboard The Carrier USS Kearsarge

- Date: 1960's
-
- My father had an awesome story about a UFO sighting he
and other crewmen experienced when he was aboard the carrier USS Kearsarge
awaiting splashdown of Faith 7, the capsule from the last Mercury mission.

- My dad had a good story. Too bad I didn't get more details,
I heard it about twenty five years ago or so and he only told it once.
Well, to me anyway. He passed away in the early nineties and I never got
to ask him about it again.
-
- The gist is he and a friend took a break to go on deck
and have a smoke. A navy photographer was on board to take shots of the
splashdown scheduled that day and had his camera on a tripod, just taking
pictures of the ocean and the ship at night.
-
- My dad said he was on the midnight shift and this was
about two, two thirty in the morning. As the three of them talked and smoked
they all saw a formation of three UFO's with red, blue and white lights
on it. I don't remember if he said anything about strobing or flashing,
but I do remember he said the thing he remembered most, besides their speed,
was there was absolutely no sound coming from the crafts, which he described
as being closer to a child's top shape than saucers. They estimated the
UFO's were half a mile or so when they first spotted them, coming from
behind their position as they had all been facing the sea and the ships
came from the other side of the ship.

- I can't recall starboard or port but he did say they
were able to watch them as they approached, swung around the rear of the
ship and hovered over the water a hundred yards or so away from where they
were on deck. The cameraman was able to get some photos, not sure how
many, before they all took off almost straight up and out of sight. As
far as size goes he said he didn't think they were much bigger in diameter
than the length of a fighter and probably taller than they were wide.

- Here he mentioned a disagreement between the three with
the cameraman talking his view and his friend saying they were bigger,
although not by a great deal.

- The cameraman turned the film into to his superior officer
and was told to not ever mention it. My dad said he and his friend were
asked about the incident by their NCO and also told not to ever talk about
it. As far as my father was concerned neither he nor his friend ever heard
anything about the film and never saw the cameraman again once he left
the ship. Not that that's unusual, it was just a temporary assignment anyway.

- I don't remember if anything went wrong with the Mercury
mission but I do know they did retrieve the capsule okay.

- My father served in the Navy for twenty years and that's
the only story he ever told me about his personal experience with UFO's.
He did tell me that he had heard other stories of strange flying things
over the years from fellow sailors though, but never in any detail I could
pass on, or even recall for that matter! ; )

- It's not much of a story but I remember when my father
told it to me my skin crawled. He was not a man to invent stories and not
one time can I ever recall him telling me a story regarding his personal
experiences that was not true.

- I know had I been there I would have freaked! I wish
I would have gotten more details, especially whether or not anyone else
on the ship besides my father, his friend and the photographer witnessed
the event. I did remember one other detail; the entire episode didn't last
very long, only a couple of minutes from the time they first spotted the
UFO's to the time they were out of sight. Yeah, some wickedly capable craft,
whatever they were.

- UFO Sighting Over McAlester, Oklahoma Munitions Depot
(McAlester Navel Depot)

- Time: 7:00 p.m.

- Number of witnesses: Five or more.
- Number of objects: 1
- Shape of objects: Red flashing light.

- Full Description of event/sighting: I was an MP at McAlester
navel depot, I was patrolling in a 1/2 ton pickup, when I went into one
of the bunkers which was covered in ground and grass over a concrete locked
door, we had to make sure the locks where secured on the bunkers and you
could drive threw like a tunnel. The truck stopped and I could not get
the radio to work or the truck to start. So I had to walk to a call station
which looked like a phone on a telephone booth with a gray box, as I picked
up the phone, I glanced back and upward, it was getting dark or dark can't
remember, and there was a red flashing light. I thought it was a tower
light flashing which was not unusual at the time. But then it moved at
high rate of speed, 500 or thousands miles per hour, moving from the still
position to a south east direction then to south west direction then back
to the start position, that's when I contacted the head quarters. They
sent another patrol out to pick me up and the officer of the day checked
the airport and there where no airplanes or any traffic out at the time.
Then there where more reports coming in all the time. There where reports
of lights being beamed down on the bunkers from other patrols. As I was
getting discharged I had heard that the army was taking over the base.

- Hanakapia, Kauai, Hawaii Huge Wedge Shaped Craft

- Date: August, early Sept. 1975
- Time: Late morning, early afternoon.

- Number of witnesses: 1
- Number of objects: 1

- Full Description of event/sighting: Sunny day, very clear,
occasional cloud in the sky. Most of sky clear. Hanakapiai is in the Haena
area. End of road going north on eastern coast of Kauai. I was camped in
Hanakapiai and when I looked up in sky I saw wedge shaped something with
splashes of color on bottom.

- It didn't make sense to me: nothing that large can hover
in the sky is what I was thinking. There was no noise coming from it. I
had to look around me as I wondered if I was seeing things clearly. Everything
around me was "normal." No distortions. I looked back in the
sky and the object was still there. I certainly wasn't thinking about alien
craft, extraterrestrials, etc. I was thinking only, how in the world can
something that large be hovering in the sky?

- The Size of the object: Estimate: 1 mile to a mile and
a half long, a 1/2 mile wide and approximately 1 mile high. It was wedge
shaped with two right angles at eastern end and 30 some degree angle at
western end. There were blotches, splashes of color on bottom of it. One
spot looked as if a giant had done green finger painting.

- I estimated that I was looking at the object for about
20 minutes--that's just an estimate though. Then, after I had brought my
eyes back to the valley I was in, I looked up and saw a number of wisps
of smoke or vapor, anyway, like little tufts of cloud, except that the
pattern indicated the tufts were caused by the draft of the UFO leaving.

- Later I was living in the area called Taylor Camp, once
owned by Elizabeth Taylor's brother, I was told. I told people about the
sighting I had been witness to and was told in return that there were many
sightings in Hawaii, that Hawaii was considered a "window" or
portal area for UFOs.

- Six years later (while living in Santa Cruz, CA) I heard
from friends, (names removed) who had lived in Kauai also, that Haena-Hanakapiai
had been a place of sightings for ancient Hawaiians. Legends had it that
a "flying island" used to visit the area and pick up and drop
off Menehune people (3 foot high people of Hawaiian legend).

- I told them of my sighting. They said there were written
records on ancient Hawaii confirming their information about the flying
island.

- Paris, Tennessee Object With A Bright Amber Tip

- Time: 10:00 p.m.

- Location of Sighting: Paris landing state park.
- Number of witnesses: 4

- Full Description of event/sighting: I would have never
believed in UFO's until I saw it with my own eyes. I was asleep the night
before, I was to start high school. My dad came home waking me up, saying
(name removed) wake up, do you want to see a UFO? I thought he had been
to the bar! But when I woke up, I realized he was sober. I got into the
car with him and his girlfriend and drove to the end of the driveway and
there it sat. It was double the height of a street light and right above
a street light about a half a mile away. It was the color of amber, the
color of the tip of a cigarette when you light it, (exactly). The object
was so close, there was no wind blowing and it made no noise. We then saw
a trucker pulled to the middle of the 4 lane highway sitting on top of
his semi watching all this. My Dad is wild, he drove towards the UFO as
it was moving and it managed to keep the same distance away from us. My
Dad sped up and it just disappeared, we turned around to drive home I don't
think I ever blinked that night. I watched out the back window hoping to
see it again, there it was right behind us. Dad turned around and followed
again, the whole time it stayed facing the west, after the third time of
turning the car around we never saw it again, to us it seemed to be playing
with us. I am 27 years old now and I remember that day like yesterday and
I am now a concrete believer.

- Houston, British Columbia Object Loops Around & Rises
Up Over The Mountain

- Date: August 23, 2002
- Time: approx: 7:00 p.m.
-
- I had a telephone call from a lady telling me she had
witnessed something really strange, and that it had really frightened her.
She also told me that she had taken video tape of the object as it was
heading away from her location, which was in a southwesterly direction.
I made arrangements for the same day to visit and interview her over what
she saw. I arrived at the witnesses home (farm) and was greeted by a very
pleasant lady, she asked me into their home and we discussed what it was
she had seen.

- She said at approx: 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening, August
23, 2002 she was at the kitchen sink washing up the days dishes and looking
out the window which over looks their large farm. He eyes caught a large
bright light heading down behind the trees, which was at the far end of
the families farm. She told me she could clearly see the shape of the object,
and it was cylinder in shape. Shinny and metallic in color.

- To her surprise the object looped around and headed back
up into the sky.
-
- At this time of the evening, it was still quite light
out, and she had no problem in seeing it. She ran a grabbed her video camera
and took some film of the object as it departed the area.
-
- The witness brought out her video camera and showed me
what it was she captured on the tape, and I must say I was really surprised.
My first thought when I saw the object on the tape, was that maybe it was
a meteor, but after hearing her explanation of the events this ruled out
my thoughts on what it might have been.
-
- If I had to explain what this object looked like, it
looked exactly like one of the many movies we see of T.V., where a comet
is heading towards earth with a contrail from the tip of it and running
a short distance off the back end of it. But the contrail, if one wants
to call it that, had another very shot tail coming out the back end, right
in the center. It almost gave the impression of the flames coming from
a fighter aircraft. But no flames could be seen with this object. The object
was massive, and very bright.

- It also moved across the sky rather slowly.
-
- After I viewed the tape, the witness said, we are not
finished yet. She went on to tell me that about a half hour later, while
she was finishing off the dishes she was working on, she watched another
"large bright white" object rise up from behind the Telkwa mountain
range. She said straight up, in other words from the base of the mountain
heading to the top and then stopped and hovered. Again she ran to grab
her video camera, and started filming this object. After she watched it
rise up from behind the mountain, the object moved to the right along the
top of the range. ( HBCC UFO Note: this is where the video camera ran out
of tape, but the witness did think to run and grab another blank tape,
and started rolling again).

- When she started filming the object once again, it had
already reached the end of the mountain range, and was dropping down,
but following the contour of the mountain. She filmed it until it went
down behind the tress on her property which blocked the view of the object.
The mountain range is at some distance away from the family's farm across
the Bulkley Valley. I wondered if it might be something explainable, but
from her description of the event, I soon ruled that out.

- The witness dropped into my home the next day to drop
off a couple of things I had left behind after the interview and she was
still rather frightened due to not knowing what this object was. She said
it gave her the creeps and hoped I would be able to come up with a reasonable
explanation to what it was, just to make her feel better about the whole
experience.

- What HBCC UFO did not add was the video footage in which
followed the initial sighting. The object dropped down out of sighting,
looped around according to the eyewitnessed and rose up behind the Telkwa
mountain range. The video footage to both can be found below.

- Indian Brook, Nova Scotia Purple Glowing Shaped Oval

- Date: October 31, 2002
- Time: 5 :55 p.m.

- Number of witnesses: 5

- Shape of objects: Oval purplish disk.

- Full Description of event/sighting: Halloween, a friend
and I were giving out goodies at our local fire hall. I was inside and
we had the door open. My friend went out, and then started yelling "
hey guys, look at this." I thought kids were messing with the police
car because we had the Police Dept right next door. He frantically called
me to come out to look, so I did. What I saw, simply astounded me. This
purplish glowing shaped oval came towards the fire-hall in then stopped,
hovered there in one spot for a few minutes. My friend continued to call
for the police member to come out observe what was transpiring in front
of our eyes. It's massive size, even at a distance was huge.

- There for a minute we stood in silence when the police
member came out only to find it flying off very quickly. But he did say,
he saw it going away very quickly in a blink of an eye, it was gone. I
remember going home telling my family about it. Some of my nieces said
they seen it and were watching it while they were driving. A few members
in our community said they seen it, and were watching it from top of the
hill in our community. A few days later some people said they were watching
it from another community in Truro N.S., which is 20 minutes away. I almost
forgot some one took a picture of it from her house, but when she developed
it, it was a cloud or mist with a small red dot in it. My brother said
he heard a broadcast from New Brunswick about a huge light in the sky while
he was there.

- Oshawa, Ontario Multiple Objects Filmed

- Date: April 9, 2005
- Time: Approx.10:45 a.m.

- Here is my report for Saturday, April 9, 2005 at approx.10:45
a.m. to near 12:30 pm. At home in Oshawa, I noticed with the naked eye,
white bright objects moving high in the skies 8-10,000 feet or higher.
They were moving in all different directions. Also note, there was even
alot of chemtrails that morning. Next, to aid the sighting, usage of binoculars,
which confirmed that there are "many" objects over our skies
here. After the tool of the binoculars, time for the camera to capture
some pictures.

- Vancouver, British Columbia UFO A Pin Prick Of Light

- Date: April 14, 2005
- Time: 5.00 p.m.

- Yesterday I saw a strange phenomenon is the sky. It was
5.00 pm and very bright out. The sky was blue and there were a lot of clouds.
My four year old daughter said mom there is the moon, (a crescent very
small) and she said what is that white thing beside it. I had said oh clouds
sweetheart, she said No there is something there.

- I looked and saw what appeared to look like a star, a
pin prick of light. This was not a plane, it was not a balloon, because
one. there was no way a balloon was up that high and two. The movement
of the object. The UFO moved right away from the moon, stopped, came back
left, stopped again for a few minutes then progressed back to the right
again where it then went into a cloud and vanished. I watched this for
fifteen to twenty minutes. My daughter saw it as well as my next door neighbor.
We could not identify it as a plane, balloon, anything. The possibility
of a UFO is all we could come up with. Have you received any other reports
such as this?? Also it was very bright out and we could see this is the
sky looked like a star but weird movements, stops and then gone. I know
it wasn't a satellite as I know the movements of one.

- Rossland, B.C. Blue Lights Over Red Mountain

- Date: April 23, 2005
- Time: Approx: 11:45 p.m.
-
- Four witnesses report seeing numerous bright blue lights
rising and descending over Red Mountain while traveling south towards Rossland,
B.C. The witnesses were able to observe five lights, all moving erratically.
The lights traveled an estimated, one to two miles horizontally, then would
return to the same location when they were first noticed. Some of the lights
would move up and down, traveling a good distance in altitude before returning
over top the mountain in a hovering mode. After approx: 4 to 5 minutes,
three of the blue lights just blinked out or vanished, the remaining two
moved off towards the west at a quick rate of speed. One of the passengers
alerted the driver to what she saw and the driver pulled the car over and
everyone watched the event unfold.
