- Two essential aspects of the American Dream are: home
ownership and the freedom to create a business of one's own and be one's
own boss. Now the American Dream is looking more and more like a nightmare--
thanks to the Supreme Court. Who in America can ever be certain that his
or her home or business won't some day be slated for confiscation by the
government? Now, elite developers, in conjunction with bought and paid
for city governments across America, have been given the green light by
the Supremes to legally annihilate the private property rights of American
citizens. What this amounts to is: OUR government has unconstitutionally
yanked power away from the many, and transfered that power to a small elite
group. To make matters worse, these elites and their social re-engineering
scheme are now protected by the very government that's supposed to be protecting
the private property rights of average Americans!

- Leave it to Orwell to put this dismal situation into
perspective.
-
- Who can forget the famous proclamation by the Pigs who
controlled the government in Orwell's classic novel: Animal Farm: "All
animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others"--George
Orwell

- The Supreme Court decision was text book ORWELL.
-
- War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength
and now PRIVATE is PUBLIC (Supreme Court)
-
- The central point isn't how much private property is
taken from American citizens by the government in the name of eminent domain
for the benefit of private developers. The real and terrifying point is
that YOU NEVER KNOW when they might take YOUR property from you. The sense
of security that comes with owning one's property is no longer secure.
Your new LANDLORD, the government, can evict you at any time.
-
- The End of Private Property " . . . when mom and
pop hardware stores are razed to make room for Home Depot, and wonderful
union-friendly stores like Walmart can secure land at low, low prices to
open stores and crowd out local businesses. The left, who is the "champion
of the poor and downtrodden", has just given big business a huge wrecking
ball to crush the poor and downtrodden. Good thing that your inability
to respect private property is now going to be a major form of corporate
welfare. Congratulations!!!"

- Supreme Court Begins Dismantling Bill Of Rights
By Sher Zieve

- "June 23, 2005 saw the end of Amendment V to the
US Constitution. Although this profound occurrence has been mentioned by
our mainstream press, I have been shocked that it hasn't been more vigorously
reported and pursued. This decision undermines the very fabric of the United
States of America. These are not "dramatic for the sake of drama"
statements. This is what has actually occurred. The Amendment V clause
to which I am referring is: "nor shall private property be taken for
public use, without just compensation." Five individuals have decided
that "public" now means "private". Thursday's 5-4 SCOTUS
ruling, says that if cities believe that a private developer can erect
structures that will raise more tax revenues than citizen-owned homes and/or
businesses, these homes and businesses can be condemned and confiscated
by the cities".

- So, the Supreme Court has ruled that 'CITIES' can use
eminent domain to forcefully confiscate YOUR property if the City determines
it can garner higher tax revenue by applying the real estate principle
known as: HiGHEST and BEST USE, an economic concept used to calculate the
highest profit yield for a development at a given location. Translated,
it means the city can take your property and resell it at a profit, even
though they are required to compensate you for 'fair' market value. Remember,
the real estate commission the city isn't paying is theirs to keep. Now
they can turn around and resell your property to a wealthy developer (private
individual, corporation), again paying no real estate commission, and they
can even add a fee or commission of their own for procuring the property
for the developer, which still enables the developer to make more of a
profit than if he had bought the property directly from you. It's a win-win
situation for the city and the developer.
-
- The developer can acquire your property at a bargain
price, because he never negotiates DIRECTLY with you. Since the property
wasn't for sale to begin with, you could ask for a higher than market value
price on that basis alone. And If you asked the developer, or his representative,
why he wanted to buy your property (which you surely should), and he told
you about his plans to tear down your house or business in order to build
a multi-million dollar condimium complex--well, you'd be a fool not to
ask for more money. And you'd be wise to hire a real estate attorney to
represent your best interests. Of course, now the real-estate developer
won't have to bother with above scenario. Instead, he'll bypass YOU altogether
and hammer out a sweetheart deal directly with the city. Now, the city
fronting for the developer, can legally use force to take your property
away from you whether you want to sell or not. And the city will most likely
pay the lowest possible market price, since it will determine fair market
value without the developers plan factored in. Total fascism: The unsavory
merging of big business with government to quash the individual.
-
- And here's the rub: You have NO LEGAL RECOURSE.
-
- Alex Jones sums it up: "....now developers can pay
off your local politicians and then come in and steal your property without
even giving you best use price. Imagine middle class neighborhoods across
America being bulldozed because developers have written up a proposal for
making more money off of your property. Either it's your property or it
isn't."

- Well, I have to agree. Either you're pregnant or you're
not.
-
- What the "Banksters" don't grab when the Housing
Bubble finally bursts, the 'CITIES' will be able to 'steal' from the PEOPLE--
Also consider this: When fiat money is further devalued (and it will be),
and the 'CITY' decides to grab your property--which would you rather have,
your home or deflated dollars?
-
- Being FORCED to move from a property against one's will
is an EVICTION--regardless of the fact that one is compensated. Most will
agree that moving is very stressful, even when it's a choice. But when
it's forced, it can be extremely traumatic. Here's a real life example
from Steve at Indymedia:
-
- "Last night, a lender from Bend faxed over some
papers to their Beaverton office for me to sign. The papers were for a
loan for my parents, long-time residents of Bend; the place where I grew
up. I had to sign these loan papers so that my parents could afford to
get their Jeep running again so that my Dad no longer has to walk to work
and so that they could afford to put a first/last payment on their new
apartment."
-
- "You see, my parents, along with 22 other families
in their neighborhood, have been fighting a wealthy developer who lives
in Colorado. This asshole's name is Jay Merrill. He decided he wanted my
parents neighborhood to build some new condominiums and duplexes on. So,
working through the back channels of the Bend City Council, he was able
to evict all 22 families, including my parents, from that neighborhood.
My Mom and Dad, both stricken with health issues (including a heart attack
by my Dad) had to spend their entire savings on their health bills, ultimately
leading to them both filing bankruptcy. They no longer had the funds to
fight this developer and today the construction moves forward on my old
neighborhood. Their credit is now wrecked, along with their home, which
is why I had to be the Primary signer for my parents' loan. This kind of
shit is happening everyday. And thanks to the landlords and the power whores
in the Supreme Court, it just got a lot easier...."

- Folks, this is essentially CENTRAL PLANNING, SOVIET STYLE,
commonly called: FORCED COLLECTIVISM. City Councils across America are
going to to act as central planning agents, for the benefit of elites,
in a similar fashion to the central planners of the Soviet Union under
Stalin. Forget about the notion that a community should be a reflection
of the values, character, and ideals of the local inhabitants. Now, every
community in America will be constructed to REFLECT top-down, elite master
planning, regardless of the will of its citizens.
-
- From Coyote Blog:
-
- "....To my eye, Mr Horton and New London look no
different than Stalin-era Soviet planners. The Economist (sub. req'd)agrees:
"Put simply, cities cannot take someone's house just because they
think they can make better use of it. Otherwise, argues Scott Bullock,
Mrs Kelo's lawyer, you end up destroying private property rights altogether.
For if the sole yardstick is economic benefit, any house can be replaced
at any time by a business or shop (because they usually produce more tax
revenues). Moreover, if city governments can seize private property by
claiming a public benefit which they themselves determine, where do they
stop? If they decide it is in the public interest to encourage locally-owned
shops, what would prevent them compulsorily closing megastores, or vice
versa? This is central planning."

- This 'new ruling' is nothing more than an Illuminati,
One World Order, redistribution tool to legally confiscate the private
property of average Americans, under the guise "of a greater public
good." This is yet another government sanctioned and ENFORCED, TOP
DOWN, Ponzi scheme.
-
- Government and private industry are continuing to merge
at the speed of light to the detriment of most American citizens. Where
the Government ends and Elite Private business interests begin is becoming
impossible to decipher! As I see it, America has devolved into a mixture
of Communist and Fascist forces that have rapidly coalesced into the inception
of a 1984 style, totalitarian Police State. The Supreme Court has once
again accelerated the process with this decision.
-
- Imagine, young activists in orange vests, frantically
waving off government bulldozers that are about to destroy another American
family's home to make way for a shopping center. Can you see more Rachel
Corries, only this time here in the USA? I can. Recently, I was pleasantly
surprised to see an older man wearing a T-shirt that displayed a phrase
that sums it up best: "We're all Palestinians Now!"
