- Mexico celebrates "Friendship Day" on February
14 and this date has become a special one for skywatchers, as it is a date
on which recurrent UFO sightings have occured since the year 2000 in the
Mexican Republic.

- My friend Salvador Guerrero visited my home at approximately
6 p.m. and we climbed to the roof of the building where my mother lives.
Accompanying us were my husband and my son Gerardo.

- At around 6:30 p.m. I observed a simple dark flying figure
in plain sight. It remained static toward the west, and I initially thought
it might be a helicopter. Looking at it through binoculars, I developed
the suspicion that it was not a conventional artifact despite the fact
that its silhouette at the time was similar to that of a helicopter. I
warned the others and decided to activate the video camera to see what
would happen.

- We had the opportunity to see and record the precise
moment in which the device caputred a sphere in full flight. This sphere
had emerged from a cloud located below the object. It approached it swiftly
and the enormous structure absorbed it.

- The flying object had already trapped the sphere and
it was now being fragmented into two parts, as if the head were being separaed
from the body of an organic being. To surprise us even more, the rear structure
engaged in an oscilating motion to expel a third element at high speed:
this small sphere sped off toward the northeast in the direction of Cerro
del Tenayo, where it was lost from sight.

- The unexpected event had an approximate duration of half
an hour, enough to let us know that we were witnessing an inexplicable
event, since the object gave the impression of being alive, of being a
biological entity, but one measuring several meters long and with the ability
to fragment itself, rejoin and change its shape.

- It is possible to see the change in the color of the
sky in the photos; the sun had already gone down and twilight had begun.
The strange object or entity - I do not know how to classify it - headed
for the mountain and lost itself swiftly over the city. Fortunately it
was reported by others, among them Carlos Rodrigues, a gentleman who lives
a few minutes away from my home.

- He explained that he had climed to the roof of his house
to dry some pieces of artwork he had painted, when he saw what I described
earlier. I believe that Mr. Rodriguez was closer than we were; he mentioned
that it was something enormous and that the bottom part "wiggled like
the tail of a fish."

- Such was the impression he and his family received that
they found it hard to sleep that night, according to his own testimony.

- As a result of this event, he decided to purchase a camcorder
and patiently wait for the object or entity to return. His perseverance
was rewarded: on March 21, 2005 at 6:40 p.m., he managed to film it from
his rooftop.

- Could enormous animals unclassified by science exist?

- Can UFOs change shape?

- I do not know. All I can say is that the afternoon of
February 14, 2004 is still present in my thoughts.
