- A martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-packed car into
a US military column on the main road in Tall 'Afar in northern Iraq at
10am local time Thursday morning. Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that
the Resistance fighter slammed his Kia car into a troop transport full
of American soldiers and blew up. The vehicle was totally destroyed and
seven American troops were reportedly killed and four more wounded. US
forces immediately closed the road to traffic and encircled the area. The
correspondent reported that at the time of writing US troops backed up
by tanks and armored vehicles were deployed in large numbers in the Tall
'Afar area where there are numerous Resistance attacks on a regular basis.

- Five US Troops Reported Killed In Early Morning Bombing

- A bomb exploded by a US column on the highway linking
Fallujah with the town of as-Saqlawiyah at about 7am local time Thursday
morning. Mafkarat al-Islam reported witnesses as saying that that the blast
destroyed one American Humvee and reportedly killed five US troops. In
his dispatch posted at 9:40am Mecca time Thursday morning, the correspondent
reported that at the time of writing US forces had encircled the area where
the attack took place and American forces were observed evacuating bodies
from the area.

- Meanwhile, Resistance fighters fired five heavy 120mm
mortar rounds into the US occupation headquarters in the middle of Fallujah,
some 50km west of Baghdad at 11pm local time Wednesday night. Mafkarat
al-Islam reported sources in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the
Resistance barrage killed at least three US soldiers and wounded another
four American troops. The source said that US reconnaissance helicopters
and warplanes prowled the skies over the city but did not fire back at
any target.

- Fallujah is still subject to intense restrictions on
entering or leaving the city and a curfew is in force in the city. US forces
have also banned any demonstration in the city against the draft "constitution
drawn up under US pressure in Baghdad. Increased patrols by US forces have
been roaming the streets of Fallujah in recent days.

- US Troops Reported Killed In Double Bombing In Tikrit

- Two bombs exploded by a US patrol on the main road in
Tikrit at about 1pm local time Thursday. Witnesses told the Mafkarat al-Islam
correspondent that two Resistance bombs exploded in succession as a US
patrol passed by along the main road linking Tikrit with the northern provinces.
The blast destroyed a Humvee, reportedly killing five US troops and severely
wounding two more.

- A car bomb exploded by a joint US-Iraqi puppet army patrol
on the main road in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk at 1pm local time
Thursday. Mafkarat al-Islam reported sources in the Iraqi puppet police
as saying that a car that had been packed with explosives and parked by
the side for the main road blew up as the joint patrol was passing by.
The blast destroyed one American Humvee and one GMC belonging to the Iraqi
puppet army. Three US troops and two Iraqi puppet soldiers were reportedly
killed in the explosion, according to the report.
