- Addressing a caller's suggestion that the "lost
revenue from the people who have been aborted in the last 30 years"
would be enough to preserve Social Security's solvency, radio host and
former Reagan Administration Secretary of Education Bill Bennett dismissed
such "far reaching, extensive extrapolations" by declaring that
if "you wanted to reduce crimeif that were your sole purpose, you
could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would
go down". Bennett conceded that aborting all African - American babies
"would be an impossible ridiculous, and morally reprehensible thing
to do", then added, "but the crime rate would go down".

- And people wonder at the criminal negligence; that left
people to die in the Superdome - Convention Center and on I-10 (the sick-
elderly- infirm) and in the Charity hospitals. This sort of sums up the
real mind set of these phonies. Gosh but what would we do, with all the
white collar corporate/political criminals practicing genocide - environmental
holocausts - and thievery (pension funds - stock manipulations - no -bid
contracts - tax subsidies - off shore banking - loophole legislation )
or the serial killers like Dahmer - Bundy (once a member in good standing
of the Young Republicans) , John Gacy, Charlie Manson etc. Sad thing is,
Bennett just voices - what a lot of people; posing as such tolerant - unbiased
people, really feel (let's get real) - the true test being to note the
level of their "tolerance" when it's announced that a minority
housing development will be built in their gated enclaves - resort areas
- or Currier and Ives postcard towns.
