Sen Kennedy May Try
To Pass 'Hate Bill'
This Week!

By Rev. Ted Pike

The office of Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist says that Senator Edward Kennedy will probably try this week to attach his hate crimes bill, S.1145, defeated by Judiciary last Thursday, onto the Sex Offenders Registration Act, S.1086.

It is vital to call all members of the Senate, both Republican and Democrat, with this message: "Please do not vote for Senator Kennedy's hate crimes amendment!"

Come to www.truthtellers.org for the complete list of Senators. Call 1-888-355-3588 and let the capitol switchboard relay you from Senator to Senator.

The hate bill passed 65 to 33 in the Senate in June 2004 but was later stripped in conference. Senator Kennedy is confident that the Senate will again pass his hate bill, even though the Judiciary rejected it.

Be sure of one thing: Senator Kennedy will continue to be as deceptive and maneuvering as he has always been - clear back to Chappaquidick. The best way to guarantee his defeat is by saturating the Senate with your protests NOW!!!
