- Many of the researchers, ufologists, and writers I know
in this field live from one small check to another. Are we all broke? I
am broke.

owners that make money? Do only the publishers walk on streets paved in
gold? That's silly. Nevertheless, I am broke.

am broke.

I have no money in the bank; I appear on television documentaries that
pay no money; I owe people thousands of dollars; I appear on radio interviews
that pay no money; I am seen as a successful writer of over 25 books and
hundreds of articles; I help others with introductions to books that pay
no money; I give talks to some groups for little money and to others for
free. I enjoy what I do and I am broke.

- I blame no one but myself. I would rather do this than
work at a university, in a mail room, or on a paper route. I've done those
things and lived unfulfilled. I do what I want to do now, and I am broke.

that. I am broke.

in UFOs was used as a device to get me fired from a public teaching position?
This was done in a manner so destructive and damning... ...my potential
for ~ever~ getting subsequent employment was, likely, substantively destroyed...
Bitter pill, that.

- I agree with you, though. Continuing the consideration
of this ...paranormal/ufological/crypto-zoological... 'thing' is preferable
to an empty 'wealth'... by a couple of orders of magnitude. Good thing.
I'd be well and truly lost, otherwise... ...and actually have nothing...
