Igniting The Ignorati

I've seen it in the local high school. I saw it again just last night. And it is the cause of our own demise. It is apathy! The State of New Jersey has the highest property taxes in the nation, which are driven almost totally by the taxes mandated by the New Jersey Supreme Court to fund school budgets. Yet, when the school district conducted an "open house" town hall featuring the superintendent, appearing and making himself available to take any and all questions, only about 40 individuals were in attendance.

Most of those individuals were members of his staff, some were from the Board of Education and a few teachers were also present. Only about seven or eight "ordinary citizens" like me took the trouble to show up. And I don't have any children in the system!

I showed up that evening after having taken a day off from work to listen to a lecture given earlier in the day by Dr. Daniel Ellsberg, made famous by his historic exposure of the deadly Vietnam farce via the "Pentagon Papers." The very next day, Ellsberg was arrested along with Cindy Sheehan by Nazi Bush Gestapo in Washington's District of Criminals. Sheehan was once again roughed up by Bush's Nazi goons right inside the Capitol just before "The Leader's" latest pack of lies in his State of the Union propaganda speech. I'm proud to say I didn't even bother to watch it!

But my failure to paste my face to the TV screen in shock and awe of this towering public figure and most honorable of our honorables should not in any way be construed as demonstrating apathy founded upon the false sense of security Americans have so long demonstrated in assuming that "things will work themselves out," or that our "democracy" is on autopilot.

Last night I joined "the enemy!" I was invited to attend a taxpayers' meeting, and the former Mayor of our town, a Democrat, wanted me there because of our unified revulsion for the destruction of America by Bush and the neo-Nazi GOP. A speaker from an anti-tax group was there, along with some other Democratic candidate hopefuls, leaving me as the only GOP-tainted un-American amongst the small gathering. I was well received and accorded more respect than deserved given my reputation gained from my recently-launched honest and revealing opinion column in the local paper.

But besides the former Mayor/moderator, the speaker, and the two Democratic hopefuls [both of whom I intend to fully and financially support], only eight ordinary citizens were in attendance. Both the Mayor and the speaker noted that this turnout was normal with regard to civic matters that should be of the highest interest to all citizens. But a constantly resurfacing point in both the presentation, as well as the extemporaneous remarks from both speaker and moderator, was the emphasis on the dire need for a bipartisan solution to the problem. Ah, hope!

Al Gore confirmed this when launching his "Constitutional Crisis" speech this past Martin Luther King Day, when he not only included conservative Republican Bob Barr in his speech, but actually pointed out that the crisis created by the Nazi GOP monopoly control of American government is so serious that partisan politics actually precludes a resolution of our current national crisis. More and more Americans are beginning to see the folly and dangerous statist horror that will evolve by adopting the time-worn and inefficate blame game approach of Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, Moore, Franken and other partisan propagandists.

Partisan propaganda is, in my opinion, the chief enabling factor empowering the criminal Nazi Bush regime. America never before deliberately employed military weaponry banned by the Geneva Convention. America never before publicly declared a policy and practice of secret kidnappings and torture and individual murder. America never before carpet-bombed civilian targets with napalm and white phosphorus and claimed these acts as conferring democracy - weren't we in Iraq to free the people there from precisely these kinds of atrocities attributed to the tyranny of Saddam?

It is insanity as well to continue laundry listing the Bush-GOP crimes. If they were to be debated in Congress, GOP Nazis such as James Sensenbrenner would simply shut off the microphones, declare the conference ended, and walk smirking out of the room. And perhaps in a future confrontation, he'll order the opposition shot on the spot!

It is clear that the solution to the continuing and rapidly growing Nazification of America must not only be approached in a context of non-partisanship, but via an altogether different approach outside currently defined political arenas. It must of necessity be handled legally. The Republican Party must be totally removed from power, and we will probably need to "re-invent' both our government and our Constitution from the ground up.

But of course this will never happen, unless something else happens. Not only is the laundry list of Bush crimes very long, but it continues to grow as Bush is positively reinforced by his successes to keep breaking both the law of the land and the moral code of the human race; and this will provide opportunity.

As Bush continues to bob and weave, his knees are beginning to get wobbly. By this analogy I mean to imply that not only are his crimes and their excuses becoming more obscene and prominent, but as Pat Buchanan <http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=12168 points out, his alibis are getting more and more absurd. This will reach a saturation point as it already has for me. There is nothing more to write about - it's all been said.

There is no need to watch the SOTU speech, as there will soon no longer be a need for "dittoheads" to listen to the Limbaugh Gang. And this, combined with the obviously impending "Oh My G-d" when the next Bush grand horror is unveiled, grass roots America will finally awaken.

All of Bush's greatest crimes are known: the 9-11 inside job; the false flag invasion of Iraq; the suppression of both foreign and domestic journalism, and the planned and deliberate murders of those in their ranks; the suppression of war deaths and casualties; the false reporting of war deaths and casualties; Enron; Plame; White House pedophilia; Abramoff and on and on and on.. Bush and the Nazi GOP are precariously perched and very vulnerable. Something can blow at any minute.

But to their credit, they have annexed the corporate mainstream media and Hollywood and converted them as their chief propaganda medium. And the most prominent elements of the alternative media on the Internet are also in Bush's pocket, leaving only a minority of dedicated, America-loyal Internet websites. These are very vulnerable as well, and the Nazi Bush regime has already sent signals that it intends to shut these remaining sites down.

I admit to depression. I admit to defeat! I see the MSM and Nazi Bush GOP persecution of Cindy Sheehan. Why wasn't all America outraged as were all those who are true patriots and consumers of real and factual news events as offered by the non-Bush, independent alternative media?

If ever the term "silent majority" had meaning, it is here and now! This silent majority's potential must be examined. Is it apathy as is so often offered as a reason for the empty seats at town halls and PTA meetings? Is it apathy that explains the poor showings at taxpayer meetings? Presenters point out that citizens complain and protest but then fail to take that initial step in showing up for meetings attempting a solution working with their peers. But is it apathy or is it the same defeatism that we, the minority of informed and disgusted Americans, are experiencing? Is the horrific extent and power of the brutal, deadly and dangerous Nazi criminal regime that has hijacked America and the American Dream at all stoppable?

Perhaps it is the stupidity of Americans as Dr. Paul Craig Roberts

suggests: "Two recent polls, a Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll and a New York Times/CBS News poll, indicate why Bush is getting away with impeachable offenses. Half of the US population is incapable of acquiring, processing and understanding information." Or perhaps it is the "Calculated Chaos"

of institutionalized societal polarization as suggested by Butler Shaffer in his scholarly work, capitalized upon by "parental government" [Big Brother] via the "divide, isolate and conquer" strategy. Perhaps it is a bit of both.

One thing is clear: the individual and group barriers Shaffer discusses as arranged by societal institutions has gained yet another dimension, and that dimension can now be characterized by media institutionalization. Here's Roberts again: "Much of the problem is the media itself, which serves as a disinformation agency for the Bush administration. Fox "News" and right-wing talk radio are the worst, but with propagandistic outlets setting the standard for truth and patriotism, all of the media is affected to some degree."

But something is being missed in both Shaffer and Robert's assessments concerning barriers and media complicity. There are now isolated and walled-off media audiences. These audiences constitute information/communication blockades that bring into focus much more clearly the third "U" William L. Shirer missed in his colossal account of the Third Reich. And that third "U" is "uninformed," the other two being "unorganized" and "unarmed."

There is a huge potential audience out there that has isolated itself in ignorance out of newly-created institutional barriers resulting from the rapid deterioration of American politics and the concurrent downfall of the mainstream establishment corporate media. Americans are increasingly rejecting both, but the status quo is assured due to the newly drawn institutional barriers erected between news audiences. And although these seemingly huge and impenetrable barriers exist, they are anything but that.

Just as the former administration was so vulnerable because of Clinton's cynicism, contempt and disdain for the stupidity of the American people, Bush's arrogance and contempt for government-limiting parameters will lead to his crashing downfall. All that is required is to break down the walls of the news-information protectorates and all hell will break lose!

Imagine a Limbaugh "dittohead," which I once was, learning that the Bush administration itself did 9-11 in order to launch the Clinton administration's USA PATRIOT Act, the latter just sitting on the shelf waiting to be enacted right after the "Pearl Harbor of the 21st Century required to launch the global agenda of the New World Order. Now we in the independent alternative media already know about this, and it is even possible that many of Limbaugh's dittoheads have already learned this; but their standard reaction would be that these are stupid conspiracy theory rants from the loony left. This is precisely the media audience institutional barrier I am describing. But what if NewsMax broke the story exposing a new and irrefutable secret document proving it beyond a shadow of a doubt? What if Colin Powell was the source, or even a John McCain? What would happen if Matt Drudge would break such a story?

Have you seen some of the headlines on the Drudge Report lately? It's is beginning to look more and more like an emerging Rense.com or Alex Jones' Prison Planet. Once such a bombshell drops, the immediate destruction of the total credibility of a Limbaugh, or an O'Reilly, or a Hannity will be assured. The entire GOP will take a hit from which it will never again recover. No one in the GOP will get elected, and the Bush-Cheney impeachment will be assured.

It is control of "news making" that always ignites public opinion. As America relies less and less upon the mainstream corporate establishment media, the occasion for an ambitious truth teller and his or her reliable back-up to suddenly appear with a bombshell news event will energize the alternative media and the uninformed masses as never before. Then the Bush regime and its enabling MSM and blab radio propagandists will all go down together. I feel it is way overdue.

In the meantime, slow, deliberate and concerted efforts providing informative articles and opinion writing directed at the untapped masses of isolated, institutionalized media prisoners, approaching their ignorance and bias with toned-down rhetoric, will eventually ignite the silent majority of uninformed and ignorant news consumers when the "Big One" hits. A vast potential harvest of reform momentum and hope will be our reward!
