- One year ago, a huge story broke about
the infamous Downing Street Memo in the London papers, clearly proving
President Bush and his band of criminals "fixed" WMD intelligence
data to justify an illegally Iraqi invasion.
-
- The highly volatile internal memo from
the head of British Intelligence, Sir Richard Dearlove, was initially ignored
by the mainstream media and then covered like a third rate dog and pony
show, demonstrating how corrupt the top news agencies have become.
-
- A story like this, establishing beyond
a reasonable doubt Washington was fixing a policy of war without solid
WMD evidence, should have been jumped on like "flies on you know what"
but it never happened. Also what never happened was any action by Congress,
leaving Bush and his killing crowd the opening to kill, kill, kill and
kill some more.
-
- And one year later, the criminals in
all three branches of government, including the complicit press, are conducting
business as usual in defiance of the American people and defiance of the
U.S. Constitution.
-
- There, of course, have been outbursts
of protest, as well as a recent roasting of President Bush by Stephen Colbert
at a Washington press corps gathering when he brought up the dogging of
reporter Helen Thomas about the illegal Iraqi War.
-
- But, all in all, it's become a joke to
expect real justice in Washington, as hitting below the belt in a comedy
skit is perhaps as close as Americans can get to the real truth against
a gang of ruthless Satan worshipping killers, a point Colbert failed to
mention while roasting Bush the other night.
-
- In fact, the scenario surrounding the
Downing Street Memo again seems to get lost in all the jokes but, if looked
at closely, shows the real arrogance of an "out of control government
gone mad with power," proving the Republic has fallen into hands of
fascist rulers adept at manipulating the public.
-
- And since the Downing Street Memo surfaced
a year ago, let's not forget 2,400 GI's and tens of thousands of innocent
civilians have died needlessly, not to mention the devastation yet to be
calculated by the unleashing of depleted uranium throughout the Middle
East.
-
- If there was any hope of removing the
criminals in power, the Downing Street Memo should have provided the needed
incriminating evidence a year ago. But instead the story demonstrated how
the U.S. government has been hi-jacked with little hope of reversing the
tide of tyranny, save an outright revolt or revolution.
