Release Date: May 3, 2006 Gallants Deer Lake Airport, Newfoundland Lights Hovering Over The Ground Date: December 1973 Time: 9:00 p.m. Full Description of event/sighting: Driving to Deer Lake Airport in December of 1973, my friend and I saw 3 bright lights hovering close to the ground ahead, thought the light was a car with one headlight. Two more came out of nowhere and joined, and all 3 went straight up into the sky very quickly and stopped, zipped together in formation, straight lines up, down and sideways. They went directly above car and as we stopped they sped out of sight over the hill tops. We continued to Deer Lake and picked up friend, never discussed the incident to anyone until about 1996 when we met in Vancouver. Thank you to the witness for the report. ------- Bay St. George, Newfoundland RCMP Witness To UFO Sighting Date: December 1978 Time: 11:00 p.m. On the way to a movie my girlfriend and I saw several shooting stars over the town. On the way home we decided to pick up a Pizza. We parked behind the S'ville Plaza towards Bay St. George and the Airport when I noticed a bright light with very distinctive colored lights that appeared to be rotating around the main body. At first we mistook it for the search tower light at the Airport. Upon further studying it, we realized that the tower search light was located quite a distance away and that this object was definitely hovering over Bay St. George, as we could see the lights from it reflecting on the ocean close to Indian Head. We thought that we were looking at a helicopter, but thought that it was odd, especially when it dropped what seemed to be fireballs into the ocean which would go out upon impact. At that point we decided to report the sighting to the RCMP. A constable from the West St. Division reluctantly came outside where I showed him the object that was clearly visible and had clearly gained altitude (I could see it above the house next door's roof, it wasn't visible from that same point moments earlier. He went inside and said, "Hey guys, do you want to see a UFO?" At that point at least 4-5 more officers came outside. One officer said, "I wouldn't believe this if I wasn't seeing it!" Another said I'm calling ground control at the Airport and the Radar Station as well as Corner Brook. We drove back to the Plaza and watched for another approx: 30 minutes and went back to the RCMP Station to find out more. The officer said that they were laughed at by Corner Brook and by the S'ville Airport staff as there were no aircraft, weather balloons etc. in the area. I said well it worried me that this object was dumping something into the Bay. The officer said that they would go to the Airport and show personnel there, as the object was still low and possibly not visible because of the height of the hangers. We followed the RCMP to the Airport, they stayed for approx: 1 hour and returned to the detachment. I worked my first job as an Accountant at Shoppers Drug Mart and told my fellow workers about the ordeal. I was confident that the papers would show something, but after 2 weeks of nothing I phoned the Detachment and was told that it was not reported to media because they did not want to be bombarded with telephone calls as had been the case with another NL detachment who went to press and even sketched an object that seemed very similar to the one I reported. I phoned the RCMP Stephenville Crossing Detachment about 1992 to see if they had anything on file about the report, and left a voice message describing the incident. I was very surprised when I received a call less than an hour later saying that they did not retain records that far back ? Thank you to the witness for the interesting report. ------- >From Stephenville To Kippens, Newfoundland Football Field Sized UFO Date: Summer 1981 Time: 1:00 a.m. I was driving home from Stephenville to Kippens after visiting friends (no drugs or alcohol) when I noticed what I thought was a house on fire lighting up the sky, I could even see the clouds that were visible from the glow, it was so intense. I was then shocked to see that a huge object that was about the size of a football field was hovering towards the east towards me and was eventually broadside me. The object was a metallic sort of orange, and looked like a wall of fire. The oddest thing was that it was rectangular in shape, perfect rectangle! It changed direction and moved west, disappearing behind the higher land. I reached my parents house in about 3 minutes, parked and went inside truly amazed by what I witnessed. My father was awake in the family room, as I came in, I told him about this thing that I saw. I went upstairs to the kitchen and to my astonishment I saw the object hovering above the ocean and lighting up the normally black sky. I yelled at my father to come upstairs, he did in a matter of seconds, by that time we watched as the object disappeared over the horizon past Cape St. George! My father said, "Look, the school at the Cape must be burning!" To which I replied," Dad that's the huge object that I just told you about, it was here a couple of seconds ago!" Two things bothered me about what was my last sighting; 1) I don't remember seeing one other car on the road which strikes me as unusual as even at 1:00am I don't remember never seeing another car, and 2) How does an object of that shape and size fly? I've never heard of a rectangular UFO? Thank you to the witness for the report. ------- Albuquerque, New Mexico I-25 Interstate A Ball Of Green Light Date: Around July 1998 Time: Approx: 1:30 a.m. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Green ball of light. Full Description of event/sighting: Around July of 1998 my wife and I were driving from Bernalillo, a little suburb of Albuquerque on the way home from work. We had one car at the time, so she was picking me up, although I was driving. On the way we were enjoying the cool air with the windows down. The interstate we were on was essentially empty, only a few cars going by at that time of night ( this was about 1:30 in the morning). As we were driving she was looking out the window, and said "What the (expletive) is that?" When she said that, I looked out the passenger side window also. Because the road was so empty, I slowed the car down considerably so I could see what she was looking at. Coming directly up from the ground was a ball of green light. It looked somewhat like a roman candle, but this was far too big to be anything like that. It flew straight from a spot we could not see near the ground, straight up in the air before vanishing. It was very large and moving extremely fast. We were maybe 1000 to 1500 yards from it. The only thing in the vicinity is Pueblo Tribal land with some small livestock. Our first thought was, "shooting star", except that it was an intensely bright green, and obviously meteors don't move upwards from the ground. We both saw it very clearly, and it never changed colors or faded. It simply went up and disappeared, without ever making a sound. Since then, we recently saw another object just like this. This one was perhaps a week ago now, and was moving downwards this time. However this time it went through a color change from dull yellow to bright green, then disappeared before it touched the ground. Between us we have seen a number of objects over the years, but this one was very odd. I have never seen anything this intensely green or bright before. I wanted to submit this report because these "green light" objects don't seem too common, and it was a bit unnerving. Thank you to the witness for their report. ------- Lloydminster, Saskatchewan Hovering Triangular Craft Date: February 2002 Time: Approx: 4:30 p.m. Hi, I was reading your article on the C2C website, (http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/viewArticle.asp?articleID=8794) and I had an experience close to the Yellowhead, Highway 16 just west of Lloydminster, around the same time as your article. I was driving home around 4:45 pm (I live in a hamlet 8km west of the city) and something caught my attention to the south. As I was looking at it, I thought that maybe I should pull over and take a really good look. I looked away for a brief moment and when I looked back it was gone. I went from being curious to instantly very scared and all I could think about was getting home. What I can remember about it is, it was hovering and I could see a bright red light and 2 white lights in a triangular formation. I am not a very good judge of distances, so I can't even estimate how far above the ground it was, but it was very visible. We do have an airport just north of the city, and I have seen many planes preparing to land, but this was to close to the ground to be a plane and it was stationary. When I got home, I ran into the house and my children were home and I was very excited when I was telling them what I just saw. I had never heard of the triangular crafts before, until one night when my family and I were watching a special on the Space channel about UFO's. They showed a computer generated picture of a triangular craft and I yelled "That's what I saw!!!!" and my son said, "yeah, I remember when you came home from work and told us that". I then felt at that point, I really did see something and I still get that "scared" feeling when I think about it today. After that, I would look in that direction on my way to and from work but I never saw anything like that again. Thank you to the wirtness for the report. --------- San Antonio, Texas A Circular Object Date: February 2006 (?) Message: I saw something strange approximately three months ago in San Antonio Texas. It was a circular object with red lights going in a circle and stationary at 90 degrees from ground level to the southwest. I have never seen an object as large and stationary other than a helicopter. This object was stationary for over two hours. I'm astounded I was the only one that saw this object. Unfortunately a day or so later it was reported a Stalwart, in personal aircraft manufacture crashed and died in a town nearby. I'm wondering if this was not him I saw. Thank you to the witness for their report. -------- Topley, British Columbia Possible Same Craft Witnessed By Another Person Date: April 24, 2006 Time: Early evening A report was given to me over a similar craft/object that was observed in Topley and in Moricetown, British Columbia on the same evening. Again the craft appeared to look like a jet aircraft, but the entire craft was like looking at one large bright neon light. The witness thought it was rather strange looking, but still felt it was a small jet fighter of some type. He said that he has seen many different types of aircraft flying overhead over the years, but what he saw appeared to be really strange. The sighting lasted approx: 15 seconds he figured, and the craft was not flying at a high altitude, and not a sound was heard coming from it. The object was flying from east to west, or close along these lines. Thank you to the witness for the report. ------- Cloverdale, British Columbia Three Strange Lights Over New Westminster Date: April 28, 2006 Time: After midnight ? A gentleman called into The Sean Leslie Show which was on CKNW radio to ask if anyone had reported an object hovering over the New Westminster area. The witness was out on his patio having a cup of tea. His neighbor and a few more watched the object. He believes the object was hovering over the hotel area down 6th street. There were three objects with lights laboring the objects, also observed was alternating light patterns and the fellow said he couldn't believe what he was seeing. I am hoping I will be able to look into this and waiting to hear from the man who spoke about this sighting, also there was another witness who called in over the exact same thing. This short report can be heard on the The Sean Leslie Show interview. http://www.hbccufo.org/videos/CKNWInterview.mp3 Thank you to the witness for the report. --------- Burnaby, British Columbia Three Object The Size Of A 747 Jet Date: April 28, 2006 Time: Approx: 1:00 a.m. This witness also observed the odd lights the fellow from Cloverdale saw, but this man thought the lights were over Edmonds, Burnaby. He saw three lights floating around in the sky and thinking it might have been the Bell Airship. But as he watched, the lights separated and moved a good distance a part from one another. The fellow said the objects were "huge" in size. The witness also called his roommate over and both watched and took video footage of what was happening in the sky. Whatever these lights were the fellow claimed that they were as large as a 747. I am hoping I will be able to look into this and waiting to hear from the man who spoke about this sighting, also there was another witness who called in over the exact same thing. Full Description of event/sighting: Myself and two other friends were walking down to a local pub on Friday night which was actually Saturday morning about 12:30 am and about half way down by the soccer field I was looking at the sky to the south while my 2 friends were talking to each other. I noticed some kind of green light rise up from over the mountain or trees like a flare, and originally I thought it was like some kind of fire work or green flare like a roman candle. All of a sudden it lit up the sky and it kind of silhouetted the clouds and then it went from east to west in like a second and disappeared. It was green and had a little bit of red on the bottom of it. I also thought it could be like one of those green meteors, but when I thought of it again, I haven't seen a meteor go from down to up then left to right in a matter of seconds. Thank you to the witness for the report. -------- Mira Loma, California A Well Lit Craft Date: April 29, 2006 Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m. Message: I was out walking my pet around 11:30 PM when I noticed a well lit craft, the night was slightly overcast and could not make out the form. I also saw two round lighted objects side by side just north of the craft. The craft went towards the objects and all 3 vanished in a north east direction. There was no sound coming from the large craft.This happened April 29, 2006. I live in Mira Loma, CA , About one hour east of Los Angeles.
