would like to hear from any service man or woman who served in Viet Nam
who have had a UFO encounter to please feel free to file their sighting
report. There were a large number of UFO sightings at the time of the Viet
Nam conflict.

- Red and white at a distance of five feet
outside the rotor disk and 200 feet over the airstrip at DaNang. No photo
but I'll never forget what it looked like.

- This is from memory but it was just after
lunch. About 1300 on a July day. Sunshine and clear skies. Unlimited visibility.
We took off and slowed way down at 200 feet. From 7 o'clock this thing
comes up and starts to pace us about five feet outside of the rotor disk.
The pilot called back to the field but radar said he saw nothing on the
scope. Just us. We accelerated to the point that the aircraft shook
and the thing stayed right there. Maybe a minute, then it just left us
like we
- were backing up. You could hear it like
an artillery shell over the noise of the aircraft. Best I recall it headed
due north across the bay from DaNang. If the attachment doesn't work for
you I'll send the original if you like.

flew without any visible means of lift or propulsion. Just as if you pick
up a cup and move it by hand. I'm glad that it helps what you're doing.

- Long Island, New York A Beam Of
Blue Light

- The family had another experience in
1988 or 1989 at the same location when a beam of blue light dropped silently
below the clouds about a 1/4 mile away from the deck we were standing on,
and then shot straight back up into the clouds. There were two witnesses
who saw it drop down below the clouds and three more (myself included)
who saw a blue flash go back up into the clouds. The interesting
part about that was it was dusk (about 8 pm), cloudy and the power had
gone out about a half hour before the sighting and the power came back
on about 15 minutes later. The water was still that time, too.
It was very quiet. It was not a plane (too low) 350-400\' in the
air and traveled vertically. A helicopter would have been heard,
and everyone only saw the light and nothing else.

Zaggs Very Fast

- Full Description of event/sighting: I
was over at my friends house when we decided to go swimming late at night.
It was approximately 11:00 pm. After about 30 minutes of swimming
we saw a very bright light rise up over the hills behind his house(about
a mile away). At first we just thought it was a helicopter, but we heard
no sound. Then it started moving slowly, maybe 10 mph. It moved about 80
degrees around us keeping at about the same distance. Then it shot into
the sky extremely fast and it was gone.

- A few nights later, as I was at his house
a lot. We saw another rise up from the same spot, except this one just
moved back in forth in the same area then zig zagged very fast and took
off just like the other.

- We saw a few of these do similar things.
Maybe 5 total. Never any sound. They were all at about the same time.

- I don't know if this is related but one
night we heard an extremely loud "roar?" coming from the hills
behind his house. This sound was way to loud to have come from a man. If
you've ever played this game the sound could be related to the roar that
the Nemesis makes in Resident Evil 3.

- Oakbank, Manitoba Another Witness To
The Bright Green Meteor

- I also saw this meteor. We were
driving home around 11:30 PM and we saw this bright green streak go across
the sky going from East to West. It was quite low and I could not
believe the brightness and the trail of sparks it was leaving behind.
It went so fast that if you were not looking in that direction you would
have missed it totally. There were 3 of us in the car and we all
saw it. I heard on the radio that they wanted people to call in if
they saw it but I did not catch where I was to call into so this is why
I am writing to you. We were on highway 59 going south near the intersection
of 213 and highway 59. It is very hard to judge how far away it was
from us but it could not have been more than 50 miles from us. Please
feel free to contact me if you need to do so. I hope this helps you in

would like to know what anyone thinks of this, because it may or may not
be my first UFO sighting.

- However, Alexandra Palace, UK - as I
was reminded has a large radio mast, and that may have some bearing. OK,
to what I observed.

- High in the sky, an object comprised
of at least two parts appeared to languidly move across my plane of vision
It seemed to be one vertical cylindrical object with a silver coloured
sphere attached to it, but which moved in regular motion and time from
the bottom of the cylinder to the top, but at staying at the side of the
object, giving the appearance of sliding up and down the cylinder
evenly, before eventually disappearing out of view - as two aircraft, one
near, one distant came into view, it gave me a reference for whatever
it was I was watching, so I estimate it was very high and relatively
large.

- When I pointed it out to others, and
asked what anyone thought it could be - apart from one person, who said
it couldn't be a plane, nobody else appeared to be interested.

- I am wondering if this could have been
some kind of atmospheric testing equipment, though why I would suddenly
see that sort of thing now, and never ever before in my life leaves a question.
It was odd, and I still don't know what it was.

was sitting out back waiting for it to get dark when this really bright
white object appeared out of the Northwest heading Southeast at a good
clip.It seemed to be low enough not to be a satellite so I started videotaping
it. Then looked down at my camera to change a setting which was about 2
seconds and when I looked up it was gone.

- Full Description of event/sighting: Looking
at the sky from the roof of a 6 floor palace, we saw 7 lights that seems
like position light of a triangular object. They moved slowly and silent
in the night sky. After I concentrate on them, there are
seven different objects in formation. They were elliptic and orange light
colored, like the city lights reflected by the clouds. The sky was clear.
They flew over all Florence, Italy from east to west, and later
they turned to the north. I think they were flying just a little
over the hill around (400-500 meters) and they was 20 meters large.

- Full Description of event/sighting: I
am sorry for some lack of information, but here is my explanation. My fiancé
and I were going for a ride on his motorcycle. We were around the eastern
part of Nebraska Highway 2. Of course, as it is the month of July, and
even if city regulations are against it, people were shooting off fireworks.
Every now and then we'd see one, and give a glance.

- Well, my fiancé happened to see
this one, but I wasn't looking. By the time I looked in the direction he
stated, there was nothing but the shape of smoke from where the flashes
of fireworks faded out.
-
- Something else caught my eye however.
This was at night, and we were moving mind you. It was multiple flashes
of light.
- Now, I've seen many of airplanes and
helicopters, so I've become familiar with the types of flashing lights
they give off. These were different. The object or 'objects' in question
seemed to be moving, but at the same time, not going anywhere (hard
to tell since we were moving). I should say that they really didn't
seem to be getting any closer.

- The best way I could describe these lights
well, it would be like someone shooting off one of those fountain spray
fireworks outside of an airplane or helicopter, though, instead of the
"flashes" of the fireworks eventually descending and fading,
these just kept blinking.
-
- Because we were on a motorcycle, naturally,
the wind blew over our ears. I've grown used to how this feels and sounds
as well, and something I experienced just wasn't right.
-
- It sounded sort of like an airplane,
though, a really, really low flying airplane. It wasn't really loud, but
I could hear it. I know it wasn't the sound of the wind blowing past my
ears, cause as I've said, I'm used to how that sounds. I looked around
to see where else that noise might of come from, or even if I was hearing
it at all. I cannot deny hearing it, though it didn't last long. And, I
cannot confirm that it might have come from this object, other than
what I sense, because we were moving.
- I asked my fiancé to pull over
as soon as he could, because I wanted to stop and watch this object. It
has my full attention. The sound didn't stick around long. And, my fiancé
didn't get pulled over till about 5 minutes later, because we were on that
stretch of highway.

- When he finally came to an intersection,
he made a turn. I took my eyes from the object for this short time only,
to see where we were going. He was leading us into a residential block.

- Mind you, there were trees and houses,
but it didn't block my view enough from knowing where that object was supposed
to be. When I looked back to again point the object out to him, it was
gone. I mean gone. He thought that maybe we could not see it cause the
trees blocked it. I said I didn't think that was it. So we turned around
and headed back in our original direction.

- I scanned all over the skies, and I tell
you, this object was nowhere in sight. It seems to have just disappeared
when he finally got to pulling over.

- It wasn't flying low enough to have
landed anywhere, and I know it could not of landed anywhere over the area
it was stationed. It wasn't any sort of tower because if it was the lights
would of still been there. I cannot further explain what I saw other than
what I have identified above. I don't know if anybody else seen this, other
than my fiancé whom was more focused on driving than watching it,
though he did get a glance.

A Small White Strobe

- Time: 10:45 p.m.

- I saw small white strobe in sky over
towards Burke Mountain in Coquitlam. Checked with binoculars, could see
another small red strobe along with the white. Appeared to be a small plane.
As I was watching the plane I noticed a small white satellite come into
my field of view, direction of travel. SSE approximately. 1 second later.
What appeared to be that same large yellowish just seemed to materialize.
It appeared to be much higher than the plane but below the satellite and
bigger than both of them put together. The yellowish light just seemed
to sit there as the plane and satellite continued on there ways. After
about 5 seconds it proceeded to move in a northerly direction. Once again
it blinked off but I could still see the faint whitish shape as it continued
heading north.

Shaped Objects

- Time: 4:30 p.m.

- I was sitting here at my desk looking
out my 17th. fl. window. I could hear what sounded like a small plane approaching
from the north. Skies were absolutely clear and blue, I scanned back and
forth across the sky but although I could plainly hear the engine sound
could see nothing. After about 10 seconds 3 oval shaped objects appeared
at about an 85 degree angle overhead. Objects were spaced in the shape
of an equilateral triangle and were extremely shiny like polished mirrors
and I got the impression they were shaped some what like drop tanks from
a plane.

- Above the pods I could see what appeared
to be Aluminum tubes possibly in the shape of a Y connecting the pods.
The pods were so bright I could hardly make out the tubes as they just
seemed to blend into the sky. I only saw it for about 2 or 3 seconds before
it passed over my apartment. I could still hear the sound like a small
plane engine but no engines were visible. the object appeared to be about
2 to 3 thousand feet and approximately. the size of the small plane it
appeared to be imitating. I waited for a while hoping it would come back
so I could get a better and longer look but no such luck.

I looked up from my window and noticed a faint dark object, at the very
limit of my vision. It was moving in a north westerly direction at some
considerable speed. I am not a professional observer but given its apparent
height and velocity I was hoping you might be able to shed some light as
to what It may have been. Huddersfield, England.

- Full Description of event/sighting: I
went on a smoke break on the rear alley entrance balcony, and my attention
was immediately drawn to this "metal rod" floating in a very
ominous manner, like a feather, or balloon blowing in the wind. I could
only comprehend this thing as a balloon of some sort, until I noticed that
it was very smooth and dark grey in color, and reflected the sunlight.
I called for my employer to come witness this bizarre "floating rod".
He watched it silently for about 2 minutes, and to my surprise, he was
very startled. He then make a silly UFO joke and went back inside.

- This object seemed to be over the down
town area as I was looking west. I watched it for about 3 minutes as it
travelled northwest, over North Vancouver. I found it quite freaky because
it seemed quite fast for a balloon in the shape of a "metal rod"
to move in that manner. It seemed to slow down, spiral upwards then it
slowly turned and banked, in a very peculiar fashion. I got a very good
long look at it, and seen no sign of any creases, letters or numbers, or
anything at all on the exterior of this "metal rod". It was simply,
a shiny, metal looking cylinder, the shape of a cigarette, and it
was very stiff and rigid. The more I thought about it, I began to change
my mind about it being a helium or gas filled device, because if it was
a balloon, the strong winds at that height probably would have caused the
cylinder to warp in shape, or noticeable strains in the exterior fabric.
If this was a fabricated floating device, it was very well engineered.

- I imagine that I would have seen the
interior frame pressing against the fabric, but it was completely smooth.
I would be relieved to find out if others had seen this "metal rod"
that floated over the city yesterday afternoon. Please reply if you witnessed
this "metal rod" or if have any photos or ideas of what this
object is.

- Full Description of event/sighting: I
saw a light, firstly thinking it to be a falling star but it didn't fade.
Then thought a meteor but the same, it didn't fade either. Passing over
the property it just seemed like a flat disk, coloured mottled amber/orange
as if the setting sun was illuminating it. There was no sun though. I couldn't
tell how high it was, so I have no estimation of it's size.
- It travelled at a steady speed, no sound.
on a northerly to southerly course. As It passed over I lost sight from
a tree, so I stood and turned as it had by now passed over, and saw it
again for a moment. Lost visual again completely, to see it reappear slightly
and then it was gone.
