HBCC UFO Research is now back on line and I am filling the reports back into the database as fast as I can. Mind you it is going to take some time to get everything into the website. I am adding so many UFO reports each day that the site is moving extremely fast. When I shut the site down on October 20, 2006 there were over 5,200 sighting reports, articles, etc. I am sure I have lost alot of what I had in the site due to a major foul up. But most of the reports I have received personally will be added. Anyway, glad to be back and the reports are coming in once again. This is thanks to all of you who submitted your reports.

1975 Loring AFB UFO Incident - A Son Relating His Father's Story
HBCC UFO Research Note: Below is an excellent letter from a son who's father served at the Loring AFB back in 1975 when all heck broke loose when many military men observed an unknown object over the base. The military personal who witnessed the event were questioned by people from the Air Force as "someone" wanted to get the facts, then pretty much wanted the entire event to go away, not to be talked or discussed again.
This really is another case where an unknown object has penetrated base security and the base going on full alert and not being able to deal with what was happening in the sky above them. They certainly tried from the letters I have received from eyewitnesses from the base, but everyone on the AFB was pretty much helpless to do much of anything.
There are more military people who have not come forward to give their accounts of what took place that night. Maybe if more folks would finally care to write and share the details on the UFO sighting, it would be most welcomed and very helpful in trying to find answers. Message: I was reading your page on the 1975 Loring AFB UFO incident and got a little chuckle. My father was a security policeman with the 17th Security Police Sq, and was on duty the nights in question. For several years after I learned of the incident, my father as well refused to discuss it. About a year ago, maybe longer, he relented and told me what went on the first night.
The object in question, he refuses to call it an UFO, was silent. It had suddenly appeared over the weapon storage area and the alert aircraft from nowhere. He was a NCO and was getting calls about the UFO and headed over towards the WSA and the weapon assembly building. He climbed up a bunker and stood there, slack jawed, and did nothing. After a few minutes the wing commander was roused and came over to the same bunker and along with his staff officers, tried to figure out what was going on.
He asked my father what the hell was going on and why he hadn't called this into the tower. My fathers response was that he had called the tower and they told him he was full of sh**, and they wouldn't wake the wing commander because as they saw it, there was nothing there. He was surprised because as he put it, the light was blindingly bright. There was no way they couldn't have seen it. He also told them that he was getting calls from all the posts, roving patrols and even from the gate about it. The wing commander called up the tower and asked them to verify the light. They immediately denied it. The commander then told the NCO in the tower, 'If the eagle on my shoulder see's that light, then those stripes on your damned sleeve better see it to." They immediately, albeit a little dumbfounded, said that that they saw it as well. The whole incident this night lasted some time more and then was over. My dad went back and filled out the log with the entire incident and started a report on it as well.
He was actually off the next couple of days but was aware that the incident was being looked into as drug smuggling. He says that is total bull. The object was dead quiet, had appeared and disappeared with little or no warning, came and went as it chose, and stopped or slowed no where else but the airbase and it's weapons storage area. They even chased this thing with some fighters sent up to Loring. I think he said they were Air National Guard F-106's. They never caught up to it. The helicopters there were not just Canadian but many from the Air Force. He heard from his friends on duty that the base big wigs were getting alot of pressure to resolve the matter.
He came back on duty a few nights later and nothing happened that night. That morning a couple of men from the Air Force came up and started questioning everyone who had seen the incident first hand. They were not told to be quiet by these men as they went through the investigation. When they finished, my father said that they came to his duty station to inspect the blotter and related paperwork. They then removed the pages from the blotter and the related paperwork and replaced them with new pages that did not mention the incident. My dad said he knew enough to keep his mouth shut and not ask why they were taking these pages. After that, the matter was closed for all intents and purposes. He later said, that while not told directly by any superiors, talking about the matter wasn't kosher. He then said that it became kind of like a joke.
This is my recollection of the matter and may be incomplete. But he doesn't talk much about this or any other of the things he saw in the Air Force. I'm not sure why, it has been over thirty years and I can't see any of it still being classified. None of the bases he served at exist anymore as operational bases. I hope this story is helpful.

Pauma Valley Country Club, California Large Aircraft Hovers
Date: 1977 Time: Afternoon.
In 1977 I spotted a UFO. It was in the afternoon. Complete sunlight. This happened at Pauma Valley Country Club. We had a weekend home there and I often took walks on a country road that was near the golf course. I was with other family members who all witnessed the same thing. I personally noticed a large aircraft of some sort coming toward me. It hovered in the sky near by and seemed to be very low to the ground then it shot straight up into the sky. It appeared to be round and thin. I remember how fun it was to watch, it went straight up into the sky, then it went horizontal to the ground then came straight down and hovered again before it disappeared.
It was amazing. I was 17 at the time and I remember the feeling of amazement. It was not scary it was just fun to watch. Pauma Valley Country Club is directly below Mt. Palomar Observatory and I remember telling my father what I had seen. My father told some people at the country club who in turn told my father that UFO sightings in the area were very common. I have never seen a sighting since but the one I saw was a treat and I would love to see one like it again.

Hawthorne, California 7 To 9 Bright Balls Fly Over L.A.
Date: Early 1980's
Hello, Back in the early 80's several neighbors and I watched about 7 to 9 bright balls fly all over the L.A. area. I was in Hawthorne CA at the time. We watched these lights fly from one end of Los Angeles to the other in a millisecond.
They eventually grouped together and stopped for about 10 seconds. They then flew in a curved motion straight up into space. I know the Daily Breeze news paper had an article about the sighting.
I was wondering if your group has any info on that event?
I know these were not conventional aircraft because I am an FAA licensed aircraft mechanic. I was also an aircraft maintenance instructor before I left aviation. The movements that these craft made would have killed any human occupant from the G forces. They would come to a complete stop after crossing the whole L.A. area.
On the disclosure report by Steven Greer he had an Airforce Colonel that described the same craft but he saw them in the late 60's. Thank You.

Manorville, New York - A Diamond Or Rectangular Shaped Object
Date: May 27, 2006 Time: 2:30 p.m.
On 5/27/06 at 2:30pm at (street address removed), Manorville, NY I saw a UFO. The object was seen by me, (name removed), as I was edging the grass in my driveway. We have a small plane airport less than a mile from the house and there is a sky diving company there and in good weather there are parachuters coming down all the time. As I was edging, I heard the familiar drone of the single engine plane. When the parachuters jump, the engine is turned off, and I noticed the droning stopped. So I looked up to see if I could spot the divers in freefall.
They usually jump from about 5,000 feet and free fall at the start. Well I spotted one a little to the north of my house, and I heard the snapping of his chute as it opened. Now usually two people jump at a time so I expected to see/hear a second chute, or see a second person. I didn't right away, but from right under the first person, I suddenly saw an object. It was smaller than the person with the open parachute and I first thought that I was seeing a Red Tailed Hawk diving at prey below. My attention was riveted to the object as I realized it was moving horizontally and appeared black and metallic. It was kind of like a black snow sled about 4-6 feet in length. It looked diamond or rectangular shaped.
I looked backup higher at the parachuter, who seemed to be about 1000 feet above it, and wondered if he could see anything below him. I quickly looked back to focus on the black object. It was very hard to focus on as now it was directly over my head and the sun was in my eyes. I squinted and thought that the object was accelerating. I noticed some darker lines on the underside of the object. I now had to turn my head backward to see it and realized it already disappeared into a white cloud south of me and was gone ! I had it in sight for about 5 seconds. I just stood there watching the parachuter finish his jump and tried process what I had just saw, because I didn't believe it. But wait there's more, after several minutes the phone inside the house rang and in my usual way I ambled in to get it.
Too late, but I saw on caller id that it was my wife. As I dialed her back I noticed that the cat was walking around appearing dazed. I remembered hearing some commotion in the house while the sighting was going on but I ignored it. I had been in the house a half an hour earlier and saw the cat sleeping on a small throw rug in our sunroom. I now investigated and found the throw rug on the kitchen floor in a heap, and I saw the cat's green collar broken lying at the other end of the kitchen. It appeared that she had gotten her collar stuck on the rug and shook it off thereby breaking her collar. Maybe something had scared her?! I can't definitely connect the cat behavior to the UFO, but it did happen that way.
I then sat down and drew the object and wrote down notes on what I saw and remembered. It took me until today 01/03/07 to decide to report it. It sounds like a stupid story, but I remembered reading at that time about some guy in VT who saw an object like this except he described it as tumbling. I didn't notice anything but speed on this solid object. What caught my attention about the VT story was that I had been in VT in that same area when he saw his black object. Respectfully submitted. Calgary, Alberta A Very Bright Object With A Long Tail
Date: September 24, 2006 Time: 0545 a.m.
HBCC UFO Research Note: I received a similar report like this one below from a witness. The only difference was that the object the folks saw in the Houston, B.C. area was green in color. Plus the Houston sighting which was a meteor was seen at the beginning of September.
Message: On September 24th 2006 at 0545 am I was driving north in Calgary on 18th Street near 70th Avenue SE. I saw a very bright object with a long tail streak toward the ground until it disappeared behind the trees. The object and it's tail looked different than most "shooting stars" because the colour was very bright and was silver. The head of the object did not appear much larger or brighter than the tail. Both were as bright as an extremely bright flash bulb. The tail did not diminish in size or brightness and the whole object and its tail moved much slower than any other meteors I have seen. I thought at first I was watching an aircraft (or part of one) crashing to the ground.
But as I watched I noticed no debris or flaring of gasses, just a long streak that went at an oblique angle until it disappeared behind the trees. Because it did not break up, and because it appeared so large I thought it was going to crash into the city core. (No report was made to the media that I am aware of.) The path of the object was as follows. I was driving my car facing north and the object started at the upper left corner of my windshield. Still looking out the windshield, I watched it travelling at a 30 to 40 degree angle to the horizon downward and toward the center of my vision.
It had reached a point above the left edge of my steering wheel when it disappeared from view behind the trees which were about a city block ahead of me and slightly to my left. Because it was not diminishing nor breaking up I believe that it probably crashed in an area straight north and a little west of north of Calgary. Once again what makes this object unusual is it's extreme silver colour and brightness and the sharp straight sides of its tail and the clarity and consistency of the tail. Holding my hand at arms length in front of me, the tail would require 4 of my fingers to blot out its length. The width of the tail would be half the width of my finger. No gassy trail remained behind the tail as the object and it's tail moved.

Near The Massachusetts/Connecticut Border Red Lights On A Metal Object
Date: September 29, 2006 Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.
Message: On 9/29/06 just before 7:00 pm, I was driving west on I-90 near I-84 near the Mass./Connecticut border. The sky looked particularly beautiful, so I took a picture on my camera phone (hence my knowledge of the exact date and time). Just after the sun set, I noticed 2 red lights high in the sky far in front of me. At first I figured they were the lights atop a tall cell phone tower. As I continued to drive, I realized they were far too high up to be any man-made structure and that they were in fact suspended in air. The lights were not moving however and I noticed they were a part of a pointed metal object. As darkness fell, I could no longer make out the shape of the structures but the lights remained on, never blinking.
The lights were far too high up to be a helicopter and were not moving so they could not have been planes. Minutes later as it became dark, I noticed another one of these lights out my driver's side window (to the south) and two more in front of me to my right. There were a total of 5 red lights, I would assume at least 1 mile off the ground, never moving or blinking, relatively evenly spaced in a semi-circular pattern around me but far in the distance. I did not notice anything behind me. After ten minutes or so the lights were gone. I never saw them in the act of appearing or disappearing. I contemplated calling local police but did not know what city I was in or the local number.

Oakland, California An Oval And Triangle Sighting
Date: October 17, 2006 Time: 2:00 pm and 10:26 pm
Location of Sighting: 580 freeway, 880 freeway. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 each time. Shape of objects: Oval, triangle.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, while driving on the 580 freeway headed North, on a perfectly clear sunny cloudless day, about 70 degrees, I glanced up and noticed a small flying object in the sky. I was actually the passenger and my brother was driving.
The reason I noticed the flying object is firstly, I am always looking four them, and secondly it was roundish, like an oval, and very, very white, fluorescent white. On spotting it, I started ruling out that it was a UFO. My second mind was already telling me, it was too white, I don't see any visible wings or body, or tail, and it looked like a flying stumpy grain of rice.
It appeared to be a little higher than, a Cessna would fly, and about five miles away from us in a clear blue sky. We were headed North and it was slowly going across my field of vision from West to East. I figured as slow as it was going, we would catch it eventually and I could get a better look. As I was watching it slowly seem to be turning and I thought I would see it from a different angle, but it just confirmed it's UFO status by going 'POOF' right in front of my eyes.
I hate when they do that in miles and miles of clear blue sky. My eyes were still glued to the spot where I was looking, but there was nothing there. When I thought it was turning, it might have been imploding, because it did not move from the spot, but what I thought was a turning process was never completed. It just got smaller and smaller and was gone. Not away, because I would have seen it go. It disappeared like an old black and white TV screen would do back in the day. Big screen, down to a holding dot, then the dot plinks out.
Next sighting below:
I was feeling pretty antsy that day later, so I decided to go to Bingo. I got out at 10:00 pm, and was on the 880 freeway going home, headed South. I noted, since my brother was driving, a brilliant, sparkler brilliant light, in the distant, dark, cloudless night sky. This light was 'Orb' bright, so I paid attention to it, as we were headed for it on the freeway. It was going in the same direction as the white oval I had seen earlier on the same day, from West to East. As we manipulated some cross streets, and buildings I lost sight of it, and thought that is that. But upon re-entering the freeway headed South I saw it was still lingering in the sky so it had to be going quite slowly.
The light was at least five miles away and approaching, but it was huge, it appeared to be as big as a street light would be if it were just a block from us. I started my watching to rule it out as a UFO. The huge orb seem like it was turning, and was starting to dim, though I couldn't see a shape yet, I knew it had turned sideways, but it was still in the same spot. Now the dimmer orb light was facing East and a tiny, tiny Kelly green light was a small distance from it, intermitted flickering. Not regular blinking like a plane, more like a light with a bad electrical connection.
As it angled again, I saw 2 tiny red lights, along the body? I say body because at this distance all I saw was dark, and the lights in it, as it approached. Red, green lights, big white light, ok it's a plane? We were now about 1/2 a mile from it and it was flying a lot lower like a 747 coming in for a landing I knew we would cross it's pass and I would get a better look.
Funny thing is the closer it got, it didn't look right. It didn't look like anything I could recognize. It now had two orb lights shining from the side, which means they were facing me, going South, as the thing flew East. It looked odd. The lights weren't blindingly bright anymore, but they were large like car headlights in the sky. As this pile of lights passed on my right, I couldn't figure out which was the head or tail of this plane. It was close enough, about 500 feet up, for me to see it, but I still could not see it.
Then the lights seemed to bank and tilt a bit away from me, and my jaw dropped! The small red and green lights were on the top, and at the tail and sides of the thing. When it banked East, I could see a lead orb in front underneath, and two back lights, the same size, equally spaced on either end, a perfect triangle. Now it passed low enough for me to see it was darkish grey, and kind of bluntish rounded like a lozenge, and yes, in the middle belly was a very soft amber light, circular, and out rounded like a grapefruit cut in half. It was not bright. It was like it had been toned way down with a dimmer switch. The other lights were now not as bright as well. It was flying over a very populated area of Oakland.
It was the size of a 747, no sound, it was close enough to have made a loud roar if it was a plane. There were no wings, just the solid triangle shape. It was not flat though, it was thick and grooved all the way around it, like a 'Vicks' cough drop! All of my 'freeway' sightings are within 10 miles of the Oakland Airport, and I think there is some sort of military something's in the area. Not sure about that. It was going about 10 miles an hour, but steady. Had I been driving I would have gotten off the freeway and followed it on the street. It wasn't trying to be evasive, but we were headed in the opposite direction and I could only crane my neck so far staring at it! My first triangle! There is no mistaking when you see one!
PS: I never tell my brother when I am seeing these things. He knows I am looking at something, but he can't look and drive, so I don't tell him, until after it's gone, what I saw. If the sighting ever gets that good, I'll make him pullover! When we got home a real huge 747 flew over our parking lot, very low, very noisy. I could see the flashing lights on the wings, I could see the distinct fuselage and tail. But, on no plane have I ever seen a huge circular belly light, or large white under lights under the nose tip, or wing and tail tips and this plane was huge.

Tampa, Florida Triangular/Trapezoidal And Naval Carrier Like UFO

Full Description of event/sighting: UFO sighting in Tampa Dec 2004
In Dec 2004 at approximately 2:05 p.m. I saw two objects that I cannot explain. While driving to work on the Crosstown expressway in Tampa I noticed a strange rectangular craft in the distance traveling in a NW direction. At first I thought the craft might have been a balloon because it was traveling slow (about 60 mph) and was very large. I first noticed it about 2-3 miles away while I was traveling 55 mph in my vehicle while going to work.
When I was about a mile away I noticed that it had no curves like you would expect a balloon (blimp)to have and the ends were squared off. It was of a wedged/rectangular shape (craft 1). It was colored alternating red and white. Kind of sleek looking. I never got close enough to get under it. It maintained an altitude of approx. 1000 ft. The altitude, speed and direction were all consistent and I could not notice any deviation in any axis. I had a camera in my bag on the passenger seat next to me and I wanted to take a picture of it but I was unable to do so-weird I know but I just couldn't do it. When I did intersect with object #1 it was about 200 ft over me. When I saw craft 2 it was going away from me. Both were within 5 miles of Macdill AFB.
Physical Description:
The length was in excess of 500 ft (2-C-5 type transport aircraft parked end to end)
The height was in excess of 120 ft. Since I retired from the USAF 5 years ago and have worked on many kinds of fighter, cargo and high performance reconnaissance aircraft I sort of know what to look for in aircraft and below are my observations.
The 2nd craft (which was 14 mi. further down highway) exterior was rectangular shape with minor angled variances along the sides. The exterior composition had the appearance of sandy gray concrete. There were areas along the sides that that had several rectangular colored red and some orange areas. I specifically looked for any type of letters, symbols or markings which would indicate anything of significance and there were none. No windows, ports, hatches, panel lines or discoloration of surface could be made out from my closest approach (2,000 ft) were noticed.
No external pods, antennas i.e. long-wire, Radar-dish, directional, panel mounted, loop, adf, blade, towel-rack or anything that resembled an antenna was noticed. It did have some projections on the front that looked too thick to be antennas. No engines or propulsion system of any kind were noticed nor any noise of any kind. No electrical interference on my car AM radio (usually listen to am talk shows) was noted either. To be flying that low kind of made me wonder if they were trying to fly under Radar funny I know but they were pretty huge.
Ever since seeing this I have had compulsions (?) to forget everything that I have seen and have even put off/sabotaged attempts at getting my story/drawings out. Even in my car I had the camera and I could not compel myself to reach for it to take the pictures and fear was not a factor.
I have some drawings I made but I could not see where to add them to your site.

Port Alberni, British Columbia 2 White Glowing Orbs Circling Overhead
Date: December 27, 2006 Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.
Hi Brian, I live in Port Alberni , British Columbia, Canada. Last night I, and several friends witnessed 2 white glowing orbs circling overhead. This was around 11:30 pm. It was foggy out and it went on for quite a while and no matter where you were they appeared to follow you and remain overhead, they stuck to a circular pattern and they were opposite each other and then one seemed to follow the other getting closer to it until they were circling side by side and then the would separate eventually ending up opposite each other again. I called friends and they also appeared to be just overhead. Shortly after they disappeared the sky cleared right up and you could see the stars. Any insight?

New Hazleton, British Columbia Bright Light & Possible UFO Landing ?
Date: December 2006 ? Time: 6:15 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Front of the house. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: No shape, but a bright flash.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was laying in my bed, kind of scared, then calm. I wanted to look up to my window where I saw this bright white clean light, like the sun but it didn't hurt your eyes, and the windows covers were lit up like I never have seen before. The sun couldn't even light it up that bright during the summer. It was like a camera flash that lasted 4 seconds or less before it went away. I had enough time to jump up and look at it, but didn't, due to the fact this is the second time I saw the flash of light by a window. The first time I saw the light flash was in my kitchen window. I was wondering what was going on and who was taking a picture outside. I then rushed outside to see who was messing around with a camera taking a picture because the window blind lit up. I put my shoes on and ran out the door real quick and this was the most scariest thing I saw. A UFO craft or some kind of light that was red and golden-ish in color by our C band satellite dish outside. It then turned towards me and I was put in some kind of trance, or at least I couldn't move because I was in some kind of state of shock over what I observed. It then lit up more brightly and then zipped off through the tree's here and then into the sky with a tail of goldish dots leaving behind it. One of the most craziest things I've seen in my life. I was shocked when thinking about it when I was laying on my parents bed. I felt so shocked that I felt really sad, and the more I think about that light I saw, it seems like some kind of dream because it was something I couldn't explain and very unreal for a light that bright and that close, approximately 8 foot steps away from me.
The second time I saw it, my mother also saw it since she had to go to work in the early morning. My mother saw it while she was just getting ready to get up for a shower then the light lit up her white window blinds. She was shocked as was I over this entire event.
I've also have another true story here for you. I've seen a UFO land in the forests around the mountains here. I've joined a forum to tell others what I've saw and they told me to get some UFO reporters to look into the sightings. But I didn't, this UFO landing happened two months before December. I've seen a bright green light go down quick sideways on the clear cut where there's tree's ahead of it. Very cool to see this one. It was landing and soon as it did, the lights went off right at tree line and hit on the ground. It didn't crash, it landed in front of some tree's. I don't know what UFOs would be doing landing there. The time was around 11:34 at night and there was a clear sky.

Center Of San Marcos, California Frisbee Shaped Object

Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving along with my mom, son and nice, I was coming from the west heading east. The street is call San Marcos Blvd. by the shopping center. I saw this light that was so bright that I thought it was the moon so I asked my mom if she thought it was the moon too. She said yes then I said maybe is an airplane my mom said no its like a street light. As we got closer I kept steering at the object when we realized it was an UFO I was in shock that I stopped driving.
It was a huge object that was floating in the air and it was not moving, the light came out of the object was so bright, it looked like fire.it was shaped like a Frisbee with vertical windows.we saw it for a few seconds and then it disappeared and appear like 1 mile away. I went home to get a camera but by then it was gone my mom and I know it was not a helicopter or an airplane. I think that this helps more and more people prove that we are not alone.

Hot Springs, South Dakota Small Moon Sized Object
