The Sky Then Stops

- Hi Brian, I just finished reading an article of yours
in the American Chronicle about the Crop Duster Pilot operating near Tranquility
California in 1978. His
- description of the orange glowing craft brought back
memories of an incident that occurred in the quiet farming country of
South Texas, (Harlingen area) in the mid seventies.

- As kids, we spent many nights on our backs in the yard
looking at stars and satellites tracking across the skies. One night around
10:00 pm we saw an orange object speed across the sky, then stop momentarily
and descend toward the ground a few miles from us. The entire landing
area was lit up with the orange glow. We were quite upset, and ran inside
insisting our parents call the authorities. They didn't, but years later
admitted they saw similar objects.

- After decades of reading on the subject, the Crop Duster
Pilot's description is the closest to what we witnessed. Most Fascinating.

sure if you have a place to put this but I'll share it anyway.

- My experience took place in the mid afternoon, while
out walking in a logged out valley, 5 minutes outside of Corner Brook,
Newfoundland. I have literally spent years out in this particular
area walking my dogs in the summer and skiing there in the winter and have
had a number of odd experiences in this valley. In 1994 while trying
to catch my dog, who had gone off the path to bark at something, my mom
and I came across a tree swirl. The trees were bent at 90 degrees
and woven around each other and swirled in a counter clock wise direction
at about waist height. The diameter of the trees varied from 2-10 inches
(mix of spruce, birch and willow). It stuck us as extremely odd in that
none of the trees were snapped, just bent. Anyway, that isn't the
story I wanted to share, that's just an aside. The really strange
thing that I witnessed came about 6 years later.

- I was out enjoying the afternoon, like I had so many
times before. I made my way up the side of a long low mountain and
for some reason decided to cut my walk short after feelings of uneasiness. I
took a short cut and slogged my way through a marshy area and was almost
near where I had parked. Because I was only about 5 minutes from the
car and felt fine. I thought I would dash over to a nearby pond where
I had spent countless hours sitting and watching the beavers and their
babies in the spring. I walked up the path and as I was nearing the
pond something caught my attention. Now, I have to preface this
with the fact that I have never had any experiences like this before or
since. I don't hallucinate, I'm not medicated, I don't drink or do
drugs. What I saw was so shocking it effected everything in my life. I
saw a tall white humanoid figure hovering just over the surface of the
water. This thing was about 20 meters in front of me and seemed to
be in a trance like state, just floating in the air.

- It sounds crazy but it was solid and big and dressed
in a white suit from head to toe and had what looked like a grey shield
over where the eyes would be. I was terrified. I was so scared
that I was paralyzed and the moment I could move, I turned slowly and started
to walk along the side of the pond. By this time the being had sort of
"awakened" out of this trance and without so much as a splash
of water it was on the other side of the pond (opposite to me) and I clearly
heard twigs and branches breaking. I have never run so fast in all
my life! I ran back to the car and drove back to CB and wasn't sure who
to tell. There were two men out fishing on a smaller pond about 1
km down the path. I wonder if they saw anything. Anyway, there you
go. Weird stuff.

- Churchill, Manitoba Object Travels Around Erratically
Then Shot Straight Up

- Full Description of event/sighting: I was leaving work,
which is the local airport. I saw something that I assumed to be a aircraft
on final approach break through the clouds and 3 white lights were end
to end on it. Since I was expecting an aircraft to land at 17:00 I assumed
it to be a little early and wasn't surprised when it was headed in my general
direction because the airport runway was behind me. I kept driving into
town and finally noticed this light to the left of me, it was very bright
white so I thought maybe it's a plane or a star. But it almost seemed
to be following alongside me, it was on my left and appeared to be heading
up the river. I was still wondering out loud what the hell the plane was
doing and where it was going. As I got closer to town I slowed down and
watched it, that is when I noticed the different color lights. I felt sick
suddenly realizing what I could be seeing, I drove to my parents house
to get them.

- My dad was home so he and I drove down towards the
river, we hadn't even started out drive when he spotted it between all
the houses. He was so excited telling me to hurry, we arrived at the river
and it was still there. It's colors were rapidly changing from red to blue
to orange and bright white. It looked like the light would slowly die out
then suddenly it would get really large and bright. We went to 2 different
houses at the river and everyone watched it, it traveled in irregular patterns,
it also looked like it was taking pictures because of a bright flash that
also came from it. (that happened twice)

- Everyone who seen this in the dusk sky seen it appear
again 3 days later and this time it flew around erratically then shot straight
up into the sky. That's a lie, this time my mom seen it.

- Ottawa, Ontario Bright Light Stationary Then Starts To
Move

- Time: 7:30 p.m.

- Hi, I'm from Ottawa, Ontario and last night I saw
a bright light in the sky and it was moving slowly across the sky when
I looked with binoculars I saw a spinning red blue and green light
and some other colors. Get back to me please.

- Ok yesterday it was 7:30 just getting dark but not dark
enough for stars I see this bright light sitting in one spot for an hour
or so. Then I finally said something and we all looked. Eventually it started
heading northeast at a slow rate of speed. It could have been really far
away, if it was I'd say it was huge. I took out my friends binoculars and
looked at it, it was hard to keep my hand still, but I clearly saw
red, blue and green light in a weird pattern that changed eventually about
45 degrees from where I first saw it hovering. It disappeared behind a
house. The "color red looked like dots and the blue was coming out
of the direction it was going and green flashed every so often". Only
when I looked through binoculars, when not looking through binoculars looked
like a bright star.

but not exact same as it was cloudy and so hard to follow.

- Brampton, Ontario Another Star Like Object Moving Along

- My sister called me around 7:14 last night and said she
say the same object she saw 2 nights before and I got her to take pictures
last night, She was all excited saying it was in the NW sky so I looked
out my living room window and there it was to the west of me, blocked by
tree's But I could see it slowly moving through the tree's, which by the
way makes me know it's not just a star, because I can see it traveling.(Star
Ship) I zoomed in on each object in the sky and I think you might be surprised.
If you can't zoom in let me know and I'll do it from here and resend it.
And I guess you can see the Orb's as well, But see was shooting the sky
so focus on the center just above the rooftop.Take care.

- Tullahoma, Tennessee Orange Stationary Light Suddenly

- Full Description of event/sighting: Nothing fantastic,
but something. My daughter came home around 9:30 pm and knowing my interest
in UFO's, she told me that she was seeing a strange light in the sky. We
walked out into my front yard and she pointed out a round, orangish light
that was in the sky. At first I just thought it was a tower that I was
not aware of, but I just could not think of anything in that area. The
more I looked, the more curious I became, so I got into my car and was
going to go and prove to myself it was just a light on a tower that we
had somehow never seen before. I was driving on back roads which were tree
lined, so it was very hard to try and keep track of where I saw the light.
After driving for about 10 minutes, I could not find the light anymore
so decided to turn around and come home. I turned around and after about
a minute, I noticed a round orange light in the sky similar to what my
daughter had pointed out to me. I could see it through my windshield. But
then I thought it could not have been the same light as I was now going
the opposite direction.

- As I continued home, watching it, I then felt foolish
as I now thought I was looking at Mars, as it was a round orangish light,
not moving in the sky. I do not know where the planets are very well in
the sky, but I knew this had to be a planet as it was round, seemingly
far off and stationary. After watching it for about 3 or 4 minutes, thinking
how good I could see "Mars" tonight, it started moving. I then
stopped and watched it for another 3 or 4 minutes as it tracked in a straight
line, headed over the town of Tullahoma. I thought it must be a plane and
that maybe it just looked stationary as it was moving towards me before,
but the more I thought about it, the more I knew that wasn't true. When
it was stationary, it always remained the same size. It had no blinking
lights. It did not do any amazing acrobatics in the sky and it was too
far to hear any noise. Again, nothing great, but it was defiantly unusual
and thought if anyone else had seen anything that night this may give some
insight to where it traveled.

- Sorry if it was a waste of your time as I know you get
much better reports then this and are a very busy person. My daughter also
pays attention more because a few years ago, her mother and she had seen
a very strange, stationary, bright white light above some high power lines.
They were scared when they came home and when I got there to see for myself,
the lights were gone so I have no verification, just what my wife and daughter
told me.

- Whitby, Ontario A Large Hovering Disc And Military
Jets

- Shape of objects: Disc shape.

- Full Description of event/sighting: Around 2:30 pm heading
east on highway 401, I looking to the north, that's when I saw this huge
disc, just hovering. I would have to say it was the size of a 747 and approx:
25,000 feet high. I pulled over to the shoulder to watch, than it started
moving in a northwest direction. Around 3:55pm, my friend left a
message on my cell to say go outside and look up above my work place. You
will see a huge disc hovering very high in the sky. When
I got to my desk, my cell notified me that there was a message. I went
outside to look but it was to late. But I did see 4 military jets
in formation traveling in same direction few kilometers apart. I think
the jets were looking for the UFO or chasing it away. We have Darlington
Nuclear Power Plant to the east and Pickering Nuclear Power Plant to the west. The
UFO was in the centre. What does it want or is it watching over the plants
so nothing happens.

- Between Stoney Creek And Hamilton, Ontario Meteor

- Hey Brian, I was on the QEW driving between Stoney Creek
and Hamilton and saw the burning object falling from the sky. Since it
was dark out, there was no means of determining a size of the object.
But at my perspective it looked similar to that of a helicopter
coming in at a 40-50* angle. After that the flames diminished and the
object just vanished.

- Mississauga, Ontario Object Hovers Over Halton Hills

- HBCC UFO Research: I kind of figured there was something
happening in the skies over Ontario. I popped into the referrals area of
my website and there are stacks and stacks of people searching for something
taking place over Ontario on March 11, 2007. This is why I posted a short
note to the website asking for any reports for this date. I would still
like to hear from anyone who has information on what has happened in the
skies over Ontario for the date mentioned here.

- Shape of objects: Linear + planes and flashes.

- Full Description of event/sighting: My wife and I were
heading westward on the 401 back to Guelph. Around 7:45 pm going
over the Top of Toronto I said to my wife, there is Venus. I immediately
afterwards said that there must be a military operation going on due to
the high vapor trails. As we went through Mississauga at around 8:00pm
I said to her that one trail looks likes something has been shot out of
the sky. Seconds later I see a linear strobe lit object go from
south to north and hovered over the Halton Hills to the northwest. I
told her that was no way an airplane. No tailfins, fuselage. I
suggested to her that it was a military drone. Two minutes after that
there was a bright flash which resembled a meteorite, but wasn't directly
over the 401 at Erin Mills Parkway. The flash was strong for about
4 seconds, but as an astronomer and military buff this wasn't cosmic debris. Not
with all the other stuff going on. The most noticed was this abrupt
smoky vapor trail which looked like something was shot up in the sky over
Halton.

- Around 8:16 pm or so we were approaching Camblebille
past Milton and the sky was now dark. I again told my wife to look
up and we saw a long stretch of light, with an odd strobe formation. We
pulled over while others just carried on their trip. We were right. One
was a commercial command type plane with front and rear spotlights, followed
by about 1,000 feet or so by an escort plane of some sort flying at subsonic
speed to the south east. Thus no sonic boom and leaving the area under
the cover of dark. Something over Ontario happened today on March
11, 2007 and from other reports we've come across, activity had been
going on all day from around 2:30 pm or so. We tried to use the cell
phone camera, but my wife didn't know how to use it.

- Smiths Falls To Kingston, Ontario White Object And Fiery
Blaze At The Tail End

- Date: March 11, 2007
- Time: Approx: 8:20 p.m.

- Message: Tonight at approx 8:20 pm we were driving along
Highway 15 from Smiths Falls to Kingston, Ontario. As I was driving I happened
to glance out to the right of the windshield as something caught my eye.
As I did, my husband and daughter said, "Do you see that?"

- We have no idea what it was, but this is the best description
I can offer. It was something white at the front with a fiery blaze at
the tail end of it. The white portion wasn't that large but seemed to have
a pointed tip. The sky trailing this object was well lit with a red/orangy
glow and seemed to have black specs within it. It was descending very fast
on a 45 degree angle. We saw it for approx 5 seconds before it disappeared.

- As we travelled, we kept looking for any other sign of
it, perhaps a fire from where it landed or something, but we didn't see
it again, or any sign of it, it just disappeared.

- We talked about it the whole ride home and tried to figure
it out, so if you do find out what it was, we'd love to know!!

- The object was a distance off, but I can still picture
the brightness of it.(To be honest, we wondered if it was a small passenger
airplane, but heard nothing about it on the radio.)
