Harlingen, Texas Object Shoots Across The Sky Then Stops
Date: 1993
Time: Evening
Another object seen over Harlingen skies.

Truly incredible, but in 1993, I saw something that has absolutely baffled me up to this day. I have never written about this on any web site (I've wanted to, but felt that people would say "oh, not another one of those BS UFO stories), but have spoken to a few friends about it. After reading the other account which occurred in Harlingen, Texas back in the 1970's, I thought it was time for me to tell my account as well.

Like I mentioned earlier, this occurred in 1993 one night while sitting in my car talking to my girlfriend (on the then cell phones which attached to the floorboard of the vehicle), I was also looking up at the sky for no apparent reason and surely not looking for objects in the sky, when suddenly an object shot across the sky from my right periphery to at about my 11 o'clock, stopped for a few seconds, then shot back across to my right periphery where it disappeared when it moved over the roof of the car. Now, the object in question was not as it were near the ground, but high above - how high? I wish new, but scarred the heck out of me, though. And, since this time, I have been fascinated by the thought that maybe we are not alone, and that maybe perhaps these stories we hear so often about UFOs are perhaps true.

For those of you interested, during the mid 1990s, this area in which I live also had a daylight encounter with I suppose a UFO. It was on the local evening news. Apparently, there was something flying around our skies that got the military's attention, because an F-4 fighter was dispatched. The news reporter was shown talking to someone who had apparently filmed part of the unknown object in the daylight sky. The interviewee stated that as he was filming the moving object, a jet airplane was seen following it. Several co-workers who were not aware of the situation stated that they had seen a relatively low flying military jet flying around the mid-valley. My father who saw the news broadcast said to me that the plane was an F-4 (he's a airplane buff). In this part of the world we are not accustomed to seeing many military jet aircraft flying around, especially low flying. Well, now that this has been let off my chest, I hope others believe my account of what happened.
Thank you to the witness for the interesting report.

Moose Lake Area, Minnesota A Triangular Shape Hovering And Missing Time
Date: 2002
Time: 11:00 - 11:30 p.m.

I also wanted to pass along another thing that happened to me in 2002. I was on my way up to see a friend in Two Harbors, Mn. It was a Thursday night and I left the house at 10:00 p.m. I was about an hour and a half into the trip which put me up around the Moose Lake area. Being 11:30 p.m. on a Thursday night I was the only thing on the road. Up in the distance I could see what I thought to be an emergency vehicle on the shoulder. The closer I got I see it was up in the air off past the fence running along the highway. The object was around 200 feet off the ground and was a triangle shape. It had a light on each corner and they were alternating red, blue and green. There was also a dome shaped thing on the bottom that was also lit up and looked like mother of pearl. It looked like it was liquid and was mixing or oozing around in there.

I stopped the car on the shoulder and got out. I leaned on the roof of the car and watched it for what I would guess to be about 5 to 10 minutes. It then started to move off to the east and I got back in the car and continued on to my friends house. I should have arrived there at 12:30 a.m. or so. When I got there all the lights were off and I had to wake him. He came to the door and said "What the heck took you so long?" "Do you know what time it is?" He said."It's 2:30". I told him that I had not stopped anywhere except for a couple minutes to watch these strange lights. He just thought I was jerking his chain. I got back home on that Sunday and told my wife about the lights and drew her a picture of what I had observed.

She thought that it was pretty weird and folded the drawing up and put it in her jewelry box. Then in 2004 we had all kinds of crazy sightings as you know. I was on the internet and happened across Jerry Pippins web site and when I clicked on his area called UFO FILES. Up popped the same triangle thing I had seen. It's the same thing that Darrell Barker the police officer witnessed. The other night I was at the hotel my wife works at and happened to run into a lady that mentioned she is from the Moose Lake area. I couldn't help telling her about the sighting. She just smiled and told me that her husband was the Chief of Highway Patrol (retired). She went on to tell me that two officers had reported the same thing on the east side of the highway in 2002.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Coshocton, Ohio An Orange Boomerang Shaped Object
Date: July 18, 2003
Time: 12:45 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Kensington Rd. Coshocton, OH (Ma & Pa)
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: ?
Shape of objects: Looked like stars (all except first)

Full Description of event/sighting: Ok. I tried to report this when it happened to 5 different sites and MUFON was the only one that worked. I have been on <>www.rense.com for years now so this is the truth so why not add it to your database?

I have always been interested in weird things (paranormal) and I am a normal college student about to graduate in June with a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Ohio State and I just want everyone to know the truth.

On the early morning of July 18, 2003 at 12:45am I stepped out the back door of my parents to smoke a cigarette. I was a two pack a day smoker at the time. I felt a premonition to turn around and look over the door, over the roof, over the house. This was 4 years ago but I remember it very clearly.

I looked up and there was this boomerang looking orange thing. It was like a cigarette, cherry and orange but dull like when the cigarette isn't being hit and isn't lit up. Ok, long wings like a boomerang and about the size of the moon when it is normal altitude and like a fingernail. In the middle was a shaft almost like a butterfly, but more like a bat (curved, thinner wings). The "wings" came to a point at the ends. The shaft I remember was very close to the wings and almost touching but they didn't look covalently connected.

This flew in kind of an arc (it was really weird, jagged but fluid) (Like a fluid motion but jerky, hard to put in words). I would say over 15 degrees of the sky, from NW over the roof to curve S, then SE (from my perspective relative to the horizon). This was all a matter of seconds.
Then orange "stars" would appear in the same rectangular patch of sky (15x15 degrees) (right after the "boomerang") one at a time and go really fast and totally fluidly in crazy arcs and turns which must have had incredible G-forces. Because they were so fast ( I assume) they left a tracer and another would begin before the first was done almost like the light show of a lifetime. They had different start and stop points but all within this "rectangle" (maybe a little wider than tall) this lasted for like 15 minutes because I remember looking at the clock. It sucked because I knew I needed a camera but I lived at school and I don't even know where one would be (my dad born in '47 mom in '49) and I didn't want to miss it. I didn't know what to do really as I was totally in shock and awe that was the title when I submitted it to MUFON, "Shock and Awe".

Anyways there was either a couple of fast "ones" or 100 -100s of them. So after however long (it was very impressive believe me) I decided I could run in the door grab the phone and would not miss anything. I called my sister (night owl) and tried to describe to her what I was seeing (I bashed my knee trying to snatch the phone all fast) and she was half out of it but looked outside in Columbus and saw nothing. She was no help so finally I got off the phone. A couple more minutes went by so I said to myself "I will run up and wake up my parents and get them out here pronto!" I ran inside up the stairs and said "Mom, Dad come out now" and ran out. I got out there and nothing.

My dad was pretty fast and was only like a minute behind though half-asleep. (1:00 am by now) He comes out and this bigger white light (like a couple of stars conglomerated) (still looking the same direction over roof which is N-NW) shot from east to west (from my perspective) just above the horizon. I said Dad, did you see that ? He is old, skeptical, and tired. He said "what?" It happened again and he saw it, I said "see it?" He said "Yeah, I think it was a bird or something (he thinks wrong in this case) "Then nothing. My Mom gets out there. I was kind of asking my Dad what he saw and looked up and right from the horizon straight up was a column of smoke. My parents go to Daytona every year and it reminded me of the space shuttle taking off but not nearly as thick in diameter and the column of "cloud" was wobbly looking. And that is it. I have never seen anything else though I try to look.

My Dad still says he saw something. Mom saw nothing. It is finals week so a reply might wait until next week or at least Friday. Plus I have no internet connection at my home, so it is a hassle to check my e-mail as often as I'd like. But I really didn't leave much out. It has been about 4 years and if you ask my Dad or my sister everything I told you is 100% true.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Forest, Ontario Sighting And 12 Pictures
Date: December 16, 2006
Time: Between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m.

I was headed out to the back yard to go hunting. I saw something that made me put down my bow and run back to the house to get my camera I didn't know what it was. but I knew I needed a picture of it. I didn't do anything.. till tonight I queried the 16th of December 2006 and found the article from Guelph. I personally don't believe in UFO's but this was something flying and moving fast. I ended up with a few pictures. Did anyone figure out what this was.
The Guelph, Ontario sighting this witness is referring to can be found here at: http://www.ufoinfo.com/sightings/canada/061216.shtml

Thank you to John Hayes at UFOINFO for this report. http://ufoinfo.com/
Additional Information Gathered By HBCC UFO Research:

Q. - I guess the first thing I would like to ask is that you mentioned a few photos ? If you have any others would you be so kind as to send them along to me so I can have a peek at them ?
A. - Yes, sent them along.
Q. - Also can you tell me what the time was when you took the pictures ?
A. - I had gone out to Bow Hunt between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. I'm not sure of the time, but I know it was just getting light.
Q. - Also can you please tell me where you are located at ? Just general please. What province, county and country ? Just want to make sure where this was viewed from.
A. - No problem. I'm just south of the town of Forest, Ontario in southwest Ontario. Try 430438N/815750W.
Q. - How long were you able to observe this object for ? This is the object with the fanned out short tail ?
A. - I first saw this object or about 10 seconds before I knew I wanted a picture of it. Ran back inside the house which is about 120 meters away and back to 100 meters to the back yard. I then took the pictures. So maybe 1 to 1.5 minutes.
Q. - Also there is something else, or light source of some kind in the photo which shows up behind and below the object. It appears to look like a boomerang shape I guess one might call it. Have you any idea on what this was, or what may have caused it ? Or maybe it just the light from the sun at the sunset or sunrise hitting clouds, etc.
A. - This was the trail, fuel or water vapor (?) that it left when I first saw it. Came from the jet/object in the air.
Q. - At anytime did the object make any unusual maneuvers at all ?
A. - Yes, the checkmark in the bottom of the pictures is what got me running for a camera. Once I was back, I only saw it make a long draw to the lower left and then, well it fizzled out. Can't really describe it !
Q. - Was there any aircraft in the area while you observed the object ?
A. - No, I didn't see any planes. There were some lines in the sky from recent jet traffic. Looked like a straight lines in the sky, and going from east to west, or west to east.
Q. - I guess if you can add anything as you were the fellow to see it, this would be great. As much detail about the sighting would be appreciated.
A. - When I first saw this object, I thought it was just a airliner jet as usual going from Toronto to somewhere west, until it did the hard let ( from my perspective ) then it did a hard right. The object was either moving very fast, or was small and closer to me then I expected. The turns caused a vapor trail, to kind of put out or spill off the back of the object as it made it's turn. This was the same thing I saw when it "fizzled out". The think what got to me about this jet/object was that the tail on the backend was wider then what I have seen on jets. After it moved off in what ever direction it was going, it wasn't leaving a trail behind it. The trail was wide in comparison to the object. That's about it.

Personally I think some jet jockey out of either Toronto or Selfridge US air base across lake St-Clair and was having fun and carving up the sky with a fast moving jet. Only think I can think of.

I'd like to write the guy in Guelph who saw this object the same day and time frame that I saw it. I know his observation point was different then mine, but it sounded like we both saw the same thing. He described it about the same.

Chililcothe Ohio Fireball/Meteor Sighting (March 11, 2007)
Date: March 11, 2007
Time: Approx: 8:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: US 23 North of Chililcothe Ohio Looking North
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Angular

Full Description of event/sighting: A large bluish green light in an inverted 7 shape, with trails coming off the main bottom edge and the tip of the top edge. Visible for about 3 seconds as it crossed the horizon in an arching west to east trajectory about 30 degrees above horizontal. I called into WTVN 610 in Columbus OH. By ten o'clock they had received reports from just south of Columbus, Prospect Ohio and Marion Ohio all reporting that the object was just to the north of the sighting point. This taken in consideration along with the sighting reported on your web site as north of Canton would mean that I was seeing what appeared to be a rather large was either 100 miles away or was one of multiple meteors at the same time.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Sarnia, Ontario Fireball/Meteor Sighting
Date: March 11, 2007
Time: Approx: 7:55 p.m.

Message: I saw the meteor in Sarnia, ON on March 11, 2007 approx. at 7:55 pm. I was driving south and seen it travel north to south on right (west) side. I only seen for a few seconds. It was very bright red and orange ball with long tail. I didn't see any green as other reports indicated. It disappeared very quickly. I seen a confirmed meteor approx. 8 years ago. That one was very yellowish with green and blue tail. Yesterday meteor seem to be moving alot quicker and seem closer than the one I seen in the past. Could the colours indicate distance as to wavelength spectrums? I have seen shooting star and this was no star. The sky was still pretty bright at that time. You can call be crazy but I swear I heard it bang (high pitch sound) when it disappeared so quickly. Did anybody else hear or feel that experience. Thanks.
Thank you to the witness for their report.

Thornton, Ontario Object Was Bright Like A Reflection
Date: March 11, 2007
Time: 1:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Thornton approx N 44° 15.927 W 79° 46.148
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Light

Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving southbound on the 9th line and saw what I thought to be a plane in the sky. It was bright like a reflection, I thought little of it other then it was interesting to see a plane flying low on a parallel trajectory to me.

I continued to drive for about 10 seconds and the plane completely disappeared. I looked around for it but could see not a single trace, despite being surrounded by farm land, and a clear blue sky.

I only thought about it later today after hearing the reports of the fireballs over the 401 (but my sighting was at a different time)

Thank you to the witness for the report.

----------
Lagrange, Illinois Fireball/Meteor Sighting (March 11, 2007)
Date: March 11, 2007
Time: Around 7:00 p.m., not sure.

Location of Sighting: Cermak and 1st Ave, Lagrange
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Circle.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving east on Cermak and I was looking straight ahead and saw a yellow circle like object fly from north to south on a little bit of a downward angle. It had a yellow tail, and disappeared after about 2 seconds. Right away I thought, it was a UFO, because I always had wanted to see one, but then I gave it some more thought and said maybe it was a meteor or something like that. As it was flying from north to south (looking at it from my view that would have been left to right). It seemed to be really bright and flashy. I knew I saw maybe like an outer ring of yellow around the main ball of yellow. I believe that is it.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Central Michigan Fireball/Meteor Sighting
Date: March 11, 2007
Time: Approx: After 8:00 p.m.

Hi, I believe my kids saw the meteor that you were referring to on the hbcc website. We are in the Central Michigan area, and on the evening of March 11 they came running into the house excited because they had seen a shooting star. My 4 year old spotted it first and had time to alert my 9 year old, who also saw it, and reported that there was a trail of "stars" behind it. I don't recall exactly what time it occurred but it was still very light out...at first I didn't believe them, but when I looked, there were a couple of stars visible, and their description did not seem too fantastic to believe. I hope this is helpful.
Thank you to the witness for the report.
----------
Sarnia Ontario Fireball/Meteor Sighting (March 11, 2007)
Date: March 11, 2007
Time: Between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m.

From Sarnia Ontario.

I saw the meteor between 8:30 and 9:00 pm moving very fast from north to south. It was flaming with a tail and visibly died out about 30 degrees from the horizon to the south (from Sarnia)

Thank you to the witness for the report.

----------
Amherst, New York Fireball/Meteor Sighting
Date: March 11, 2007
Time: Approx: 7:30 p.m.

Message: On March 11, 2007, I was driving with my daughter on French Road in Amherst, New York about 7:30pm. All of a sudden in the sky in front of us it looked like a meteor or comet. At first I thought it might be a small plane on fire, but then looked more like a meteor. It was round with a tail that look like it was on fire. I am glad that my daughter also saw it, because I do not think anyone would believe me. We live very near to Canada.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Redondo Beach, California Light Grows Brighter Then Dims
Date: March 12, 2007
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Overhead, looking north.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Pinpoint.

Full Description of event/sighting: While throwing the football in my backyard, I noticed a point of light in the sky that became much brighter. At least as bright as Sirius and then faded and disappeared, completely. The whole duration was not more than a minute, at the very most. Perhaps coincidentally, a plane was flying in the same area at the same time (heading north and at an altitude of several tens of thousands of feet). I'm not sure if the pinpoint of light was directly in line with the plane, but I did notice the plane shortly after I noticed the light.
Thank you to the witness for the report.
