CAPE TOWN, SA -- The Weekend Argus newspaper reports that the TB specialist clinic Brooklyn Chest Clinic in Cape Town is now unable to cope with the increase in patients with drug- resistant tuberculosis strains. Its patient-load in the isolation wards has quadrupled since March and Western Cape healthworkers are now calling for these (highly infectious) patients " to be treated in the community.'
