The Opening Ceremony
Of The Olympics
Commentary

I am quite appalled that so few Americans apparently watched the Opening Ceremony of the World Olympics. I have not read one word about the amazing and elegant artistic beauty that the People of China presented to the World.

I do not believe that the Chinese people are any more in love with their government than most of us are in love with Little Boy George on the throne here.

Since the announcement of Beijing being the centre for the presentation of the XXIX Olympiads, the people of China have worked long and hard to open the Ceremony of the passing of the torch. During the last four years, the Chinese have been plagued with floods, earthquakes and heartache. The Chinese have endured great tragedy, personal losses and financial devestation.

But they have tremendous National Pride. They have shame for their failures. China emerged Friday as the most impressive choreography of dancing, singing, marching, in unison that I have ever witnessed. I was spellbound with the way they presented their history. Rich and vivid with color and elegance, the opening ceremonies sure were beyond anything we have ever presented. Or probably ever will.

It was not a SPECTACLE, it was spectacular and elegant. It was the most spellbinding special I have ever seen anywhere. The 2008 dancers were so well co-ordinated that I realized that the closest we have ever come to matching that is our Marine Corps Drill Team or Michael Flatley's Dance Troop.

So people need to look at the Chinese as a force to be reckoned with surpassing us with costumes, drama, sets and everything else they presented. And the one factor that stood out to me was the fact that the Chinese people were all dressed.... Elegantly, beautifully and there were no young women half naked while they strut around air humping and grabbing their breasts and crotch.

The Chinese gave us 100% family viewing and entertainment.

People of the world do not hate us because of our freedoms, they hate us for our lack of morals, integrity, ethics and clothing.
