- Dear Dr. Schoenfeld,

- Just before the South Tower collapsed there appeared
a cascade of molten metal. It came all of a sudden and in large quantities.
The timing of the appearance of this abundant flow molten metal so close
to the moment of the initiation of collapse has, as one would expect, resulted
in many people suspecting that the two events (the flow and the collapse)
had a common cause. Moreover the much longer time interval between the
crash of Flight 175 into the south side of the tower and the appearance
of any molten metal at all, much less such a sudden and copious downpour
of liquid iron, has had the effect that considerable portion of these
people now suspect that the crash of the jetliner and the fire involving
the burning jet fuel were not what produced this sudden torrent of liquid
iron.

- The problems are with the gush of molten metal appearing
so long after the jet fuel had been consumed and with mere jet fuel and
an office building fire being sufficient to melt that much WTC steel to
such a fluid state and to do so all of a sudden.

- One of these suspicious people was a physicist. To him
the liquescent state of the metal suggested the use of thermate -- this
suggestion being further strengthened by also seeing in the video recordings
of the cascade white ash floating out and away from the metalic waterfall.
So he obtained samples of the iron he had seen pour down and conducted
a chemical analysis using proton- induced X-ray emissions and electron
microscopy. He found the samples to contain iron and traces of sulfur,
potassium and manganese -- this combination being characteristic of thermate
(thermite plus sulfur and potassium permanganate) which leaves the K,
S, Mn and Fe residue after combustion with steel.

- At this point it became reasonable to strongly suspect
that the south tower was brought down by controlled demolition utilizing
planted thermate devices.

- Now the first question to ask is whether embracing such
a suspicion would be good for Jews and Israel. And the answer to that,
of course, depends on what you mean by "good for Jews." I have
my own answer to that question, which involves the always-therapeutic power
of squarely facing the truth about abusive members of the within the tribe,
but I was wondering what yours would be.
